WWE RAW Results: July 9, 2018By Cassidy| July 10, 2018 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results After a tense confrontation with his Extreme Rules opponent Bobby Lashley backstage, RAW kicks off with Roman Reigns making his way to the ring. Roman says that he’s curious about what Bobby Lashley can do before calling Bobby Lashley out to the ring. Just as Reigns and Lashley are about to fight, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle and Constable Baron Corbin come out to the stage, telling Reigns and Lashley to save it for Extreme Rules. However, Reigns and Lashley would ignore the GM’s warning as the two powerhouses brawl before Kurt calls for reinforcements as several RAW Superstars rush to the ring to try and break it up. The group of Superstars would manage to get Roman Reigns out of the ring before Finn Balor gets a shot in on his Extreme Rules opponent Baron Corbin. Lashley then leaves the ring to try and get more of Roman Reigns with the RAW Superstars again pulling the two apart. Lashley would manage to break free on more than one occasion, repeatedly taking down “The Big Dog” before rolling Roman into the ring. However, as the Superstars turn their focus to restraining Bobby Lashley, Roman Reigns would take flight, diving out of the ring, taking out the RAW locker room, including Lashley. Roman and Lashley then stare each other down as the RAW Superstars try to keep the rivals separated but Roman spots an opening and “The Big Dog” rushes back down to ringside to get more of Bobby Lashley. The Extreme Rules opponents are then separated again before Reigns exits to the back, leaving a seething Bobby Lashley as both men are more than ready for their match at Extreme Rules. Before she defends the RAW Women’s Title against Nia Jax in an Extreme Rules Match this Sunday, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss would team with Mickie James to face Nia Jax and Natalya in the opening match of the night. In the end, it was Nia Jax hitting a big leg drop on Mickie James, pinning Mickie to pick up the win for her team. After the match, Alexa Bliss would enter the ring with a kendo stick, using the weapon to take out Nia Jax and Natalya. The RAW Women’s Champion then tees off on the former champion before Nia takes the kendo stick away from Alexa, narrowly missing Alexa as the champion makes a quick escape. Nia then snaps the kendo stick in half, tossing the broken stick out of the ring. After refusing the rematch for two weeks, RAW would see Mojo Rawley face No Way Jose. In the end, it was Mojo Rawley hitting No Way Jose with the Alabama Slam, pinning Jose for the win. Before he challenges Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title in a 30-Minute Iron Man Match this Sunday at Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins would make an appearance on RAW. Seth says that he loves “testing” himself against the best Superstars, pointing out that Dolph will bring Drew McIntyre with him this Sunday. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre then interrupt as Dolph says that he’s going to walk out of Extreme Rules as the champion. McIntyre then says that Seth has gotten a glimpse of the “future”. Dolph then says that Seth is “no Dolph Ziggler” before saying that you win an Iron Man Match by racking up multiple victories. Drew McIntyre then says that he’s going straight to the top before Seth interjects, saying that Drew is going wherever Dolph tells him to go. Rollins then makes jokes about McIntyre, saying that Dolph must have some pictures of McIntyre and that there are only “so many sheep to go around” in Scotland. This fires McIntyre up but Dolph keeps Drew at bay before Drew challenges Rollins to a match tonight on RAW! Seth then accepts the challenge before Dolph & Drew charge the ring but Rollins makes a quick escape. Before they challenge Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt for the RAW Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules, The B-Team was on RAW as Bo Dallas, with Curtis Axel in his corner, would go one-on-one with RAW Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy, with Bray Wyatt in his corner. During the match, Bray Wyatt would take Curtis Axel out on the outside as, on the inside, Bo Dallas would hit Matt Hardy with a swinging neckbreaker off of the top rope, pinning Matt for the win. After the match, Matt & Bray would take it to The B-Team as Bray takes out Curtis Axel before Matt hits Bo Dallas with the Twist of Fate, leaving the RAW Tag Team Champions standing tall. In a rematch from last week, Ember Moon would go one-on-one with The Riott Squad’s Liv Morgan, with Sarah Logan in her corner. After knocking Sarah Logan off of the ring apron, Ember Moon would counter a roll-up attempt by Liv Morgan, pinning Liv for the win. With a match against Constable Baron Corbin coming up at Extreme Rules, Finn Balor would team with Bobby Roode to face the team of Constable Baron Corbin and Elias. In the end, it was Constable Baron Corbin hitting Bobby Roode with the End of Days as Corbin pins Roode to pick up the win for his team. Then it was time for the main event as Seth Rollins would go one-on-one with Drew McIntyre, with Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in his corner, with the stipulation that, if McIntyre loses, then he will be banned from ringside for the 30-Minute Iron Man Match this Sunday! During the match, Seth Rollins would take Dolph Ziggler out with the Curb Stomp but this pre-occupation was enough for Drew McIntyre to take advantage, scoring with the Claymore Kick, pinning Rollins to pick up the win. This ensures that Drew McIntyre will be allowed at ringside for the Intercontinental Title match at Extreme Rules this Sunday. What did you think of this week’s RAW?
