WWE RAW Results: June 25, 2018By Cassidy| June 29, 2018 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results RAW kicks off with RAW General Manager Kurt Angle and RAW Constable Baron Corbin in the ring. After Baron Corbin makes JoJo give him a proper ring introduction, Kurt Angle says that, over the weekend, Paul Heyman took to Facebook to spread rumors about Brock Lesnar’s status for his next title defense. The GM then begins to make a statement on the matter but Kurt is interrupted by Roman Reigns. Roman urges Kurt to continue what he was going to say but, when Kurt tries to continue his statement, he is interrupted for a second time, this time by Bobby Lashley. Lashley says that he deserves to hear what Kurt has to say just as much as Roman does before again saying that Roman had “three years” of chances against Brock Lesnar and the only thing that Reigns has proven is that he cannot beat Brock Lesnar, telling Roman to “move on”. Roman says that Lashley “moved on” about ten years, saying that Lashley “quit” WWE to try and become a star in the world of MMA, commenting that Lashley made a “real big impact”. Reigns then says that, while Lashley was busy doing “nothing”, he was main-eventing WrestleMania four years in a row, telling Lashley to check his “resume”. Lashley responds by telling Roman that he’s the only one with the “legit tools” to beat Brock Lesnar and he will prove that at Extreme Rules against any number of opponents. However, this is when Kurt breaks the news that there will not be a multi-man match at Extreme Rules, explaining that there was a “snag” in the contractual agreement with Brock Lesnar and he pulled out of the deal! Kurt then says that the match he had planned for Extreme Rules is no longer on the table, at least not for now! Reigns responds by saying that Brock Lesnar doesn’t care about anyone but himself before Lashley says that, maybe, if Brock had someone “legit” to challenge him, he would care. Lashley then says that Brock is tired of seeing Roman’s face, just like all of the fans are tired of seeing Roman’s face. Lashley continues, saying that Brock would come back if he had a “real challenge”. Roman then says that, since neither of them appear to have a match at Extreme Rules, they should have a match right now. Kurt says that he will consider a match between Reigns and Lashley at Extreme Rules but he has other Superstars to attend to tonight so he will not deal with this any more than he has to. Much like last week, this brings out The Revival, who challenge Reigns and Lashley to a rematch with Baron Corbin making the match official. In a rematch from last week’s RAW, the opening match of the night would see the team of Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley face The Revival. During the match, Bobby Lashley would try to tag himself into the match, but Roman Reigns would spot Lashley, dodging the tag before sending Scott Dawson into Lashley, knocking Lashley off of the ring apron. Reigns then delivers a Spear to Dawson before Dash Wilder surprises Roman with a roll-up, scoring the three-count for the upset win! After the match, Bobby Lashley would let Roman Reigns hear it before Lashley leaves the ring. With The B-Team set to challenge Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt for the RAW Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules, Curtis Axel, with Bo Dallas in his corner, would go one-on-one with RAW Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy, with Bray Wyatt in his corner. In a short match, Matt Hardy would slip off of the middle turnbuckle and Curtis Axel would land on Matt, scoring the three-count. After the match, the RAW Tag Team Champions would applaud Curtis Axel’s win, calling the victory “wonderful”. The Authors of Pain would return on RAW as Akam & Rezar would face local competitors Rich & Rex Gibson. It was a dominant victory for The Authors of Pain as Akam & Rezar would hit Rex Gibson with the Last Chapter with Rezar pinning Rex for the win. After the match, The Authors of Pain would continue to beat the local competitors down until Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews come out to make the save, chasing The Authors of Pain out of the ring. After getting put through a table by Ronda Rousey last week, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, along with Mickie James, would appear on RAW. Mickie introduces Alexa before saying that the champion deserves a proper introduction after her celebration was ruined by Ronda Rousey last week. Alexa says that Ronda is an “entitled, spoiled brat” before Mickie comments that Alexa’s cash-in might go down as the greatest Money-in-the-Bank cash-in of all-time. Alexa then mocks Nia Jax’s injured arm before saying that Nia is still in physical therapy and Rousey is suspended while she’s standing there as the RAW Women’s Champion. The champion continues, saying that Nia Jax thinks that she’s the “hero” of her own story before saying that this is “real life” and, in real life, she is the “hero”. Alexa then says that she has overcome so much in her career, saying that they can boo her all they want because she’s still the champion. This brings Natalya out to the stage, saying that, in twenty-three days, Ronda Rousey will be back to take care of Alexa Bliss. Alexa responds by dismissing Natalya but Natalya informs the champion that Kurt has made a match between Natalya and Alexa for right now. Natalya then brings Nia Jax out to be in her corner. Before Nia Jax gets her rematch for the RAW Women’s Title at Extreme Rules, Nia Jax would be in the corner of Natalya as Natalya would go one-on-one with RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, with Mickie James in her corner, in a non-title match. During the match, Nia Jax would trip Alexa Bliss behind the back of the referee and Natalya would take advantage, locking in the Sharpshooter and making the RAW Women’s Champion tap out to pick up the win. After their friendship once again imploded on last week’s RAW, Kurt Angle would force former best friends Bayley and Sasha Banks to team up as Bayley, Sasha, and Ember Moon would face The Riott Squad in a 6-Woman Tag match. During the match, it would come down to Sasha Banks and Ruby Riott alone in the ring but, when Liv Morgan gets on the ring apron, it would draw Sasha’s attention and Riott would take advantage, rolling Sasha up for the three-count. As soon as the match is over, Bayley would pounce on her former best friend, pummeling “The Boss” with lefts and rights before Bayley puts the boots to Sasha. Sasha would try to fight back but Bayley’s rage would overwhelm her former best friend as Bayley sends “The Boss” face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Bayley then pulls Sasha out of the ring before sending Sasha into the steel steps, picking Sasha up and sending Sasha into the steps a second time. Bayley then shouts at Sasha before leaving the scene as Sasha receives medical attention. In a rematch from last week, No Way Jose would go one-on-one with Mojo Rawley. However, after berating a member of No Way Jose’s conga line, Mojo Rawley would refuse to face No Way Jose in a rematch before dropping Jose with a right hand and walking off. In a match requested by Braun Strowman, “Mr. Monster-in-the-Bank” would team with Kevin Owens to face the odd team of Finn Balor and RAW Constable Baron Corbin. While Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens would work surprisingly well as a team, Finn Balor and Baron Corbin would not fare as well as Finn would take out his own tag team partner but when Finn goes for a dive onto Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin pulls Finn Balor out of the ring, beating Finn down on the outside to the point of getting his own team counted out. After the match, Kevin Owens would extend his hand to Braun Strowman for a handshake but “Mr. Monster-in-the-Bank” would scare Kevin Owens out of the ring before chasing Owens to the back. Backstage, Kevin Owens would grab his bag, having two security guards escort him to the exit. Owens then tries to get his car keys from the valet but the valet would inform Owens that Braun Strowman has his keys. Braun then tosses his keys to Owens, laughing evilly and walking away after Owens turns around to see that his car had been flipped upside down by “Mr. Monster-in-the-Bank”. Then it was time for the main event as, in a rematch from last week, Seth Rollins would challenge new Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, with Drew McIntyre in his corner, for the prestigious Intercontinental Championship. During the match, Drew McIntyre would attack Seth Rollins behind the referee’s back and, suspicious of McIntyre’s involvement, the referee would eject McIntyre from ringside. However, McIntyre would not leave, keeping the referee distracted until Rollins would knock McIntyre off of the ring apron before Seth dives to the outside to take out both Dolph and McIntyre. Shortly after this, Dolph would spike Rollins with a DDT on the ring apron but, somehow, Rollins is able to get back into the ring at the last second. Later on in the match, Dolph and Seth would go counter-for-counter before Dolph sends Seth into the ring post, following it up with the Zig Zag but Rollins would kick out! Seth would manage to regain the advantage in the match, hitting his signature superplex into the Falcon Arrow but, just as Seth is about to win, Drew McIntyre re-emerges, pulling the referee out of the ring. This ends the title match by disqualification, meaning that Dolph retains the Intercontinental Title. McIntyre then attacks Seth Rollins before checking on a groggy Dolph Ziggler. Dolph & Drew are then set for a two-on-one beatdown of Seth Rollins but Roman Reigns makes the save, dropping Dolph on the outside with the Spear. Reigns then brawls with McIntyre with Roman knocking Drew out of the ring with a Superman Punch. Reigns then helps Rollins to his feet as Dolph & Drew regroup on the outside as Dolph hangs onto the Intercontinental Title while Rollins finds himself reunited with an old ally.
