WWE SmackDown LIVE Results: November 14, 2017By Cassidy| November 15, 2017 WWE SmackDown Previous Page Detailed Results Before SmackDown LIVE officially gets underway, SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon is rallying the troops backstage ahead of Survivor Series this Sunday where the Superstars of SmackDown LIVE compete with the Superstars of RAW. Shane asks Becky Lynch about what she has in store for Asuka on the rest of RAW with Becky vowing to break the arm of Asuka. Shane then addresses Baron Corbin as the United States Champion vows to make Survivor Series the “end of days” for The Miz. Shane then says that they went “over the top” when they added John Cena to Team SmackDown LIVE before the Commissioner says that there is “no one” that can stop them now before The New Day leads the SmackDown LIVE roster in chanting “SmackDown rocks”. SmackDown LIVE then gets underway with the return of SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan. Daniel says that he should have known when he saw Stephanie McMahon that he wouldn’t be leaving RAW on his own a couple of weeks ago. Daniel then says that RAW is “afraid” and “embarrassed” after SmackDown LIVE ransacked RAW a few weeks ago, saying that he knows how vindictive Stephanie can be. The GM continues, saying that SmackDown LIVE is prepared for a possible retaliation from RAW here tonight before saying that he is “proud” of SmackDown LIVE and its Superstars. Daniel then vows that SmackDown LIVE is going to prove their superiority this Sunday at Survivor Series. The GM then says that a lot can happen in a week, pointing out that John Cena joined Team SmackDown LIVE last week before Daniel introduces the brand new WWE Champion AJ Styles. With a dream match against Universal Champion Brock Lesnar coming up at Survivor Series, new WWE Champion AJ Styles would make his way to the ring. Daniel Bryan then offers to give AJ Styles his “own personal advocate” just for tonight. Doing his best impersonation of Paul Heyman, Daniel Bryan gives AJ Styles a champion’s introduction before the GM says that Brock Lesnar’s head is “thick”, saying that Brock Lesnar likes to “quit”. Daniel continues, saying that Brock quit WWE before and he quit to a “half-assed knee bar” at a UFC show! The GM then says that, whenever Brock gets “uncomfortable”, Brock quits and Brock will “mentally quit” this Sunday, saying that the Universal Champion cannot “keep up” with AJ Styles. Daniel then says that, at Survivor Series, Brock Lesnar will be “mentally victimized” and “mentally conquered” by AJ Styles. AJ then calls Brock a “puppet” before saying that he will find a way to beat Brock Lesnar before vowing that he will prove that SmackDown LIVE is the “A show” and that SmackDown LIVE is the “house that AJ Styles built”. Backstage, new WWE Champion AJ Styles is confronted by the man he beat for the title last week, Jinder Mahal. Jinder tells AJ that, after Brock Lesnar rips AJ Styles apart at Survivor Series, AJ’s loss to Brock Lesnar will mean “nothing” compared to when he beats AJ Styles to once again become the WWE Champion. AJ then walks away as Jinder sneers at the new WWE Champion. The opening match of the night would be for the United States Championship as “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin would defend the prestigious title against Sin Cara. In the end, it was Baron Corbin hitting Sin Cara with the End of Days, pinning Sin Cara to successfully retain the United States Title and ensure that he will be the one facing Intercontinental Champion The Miz at Survivor Series. The SmackDown Women’s Championship would then be on the line on SmackDown LIVE as, in her hometown of Charlotte, “The Queen” Charlotte Flair would challenge Natalya for the SmackDown Women’s Title. During the match, Natalya would powerbomb Charlotte Flair into the ring post before bringing Charlotte back into the ring and locking in the Sharpshooter. The challenger is able to make it to the bottom rope to break the hold before tossing Natalya out of the ring and, when the champion rushes back into the ring, Charlotte catches Natalya with a big boot. Charlotte then locks in the Figure-Eight, making Natalya tap out as, in front of her friends and family, Charlotte Flair becomes the brand new SmackDown Women’s Champion! Now a six-time champion, new SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair would address her hometown crowd after the match. Charlotte says that, ever since the Superstar Shake-Up, she has been focused on becoming the SmackDown Women’s Champion before vowing to beat RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series this Sunday. The new champion then says that her Hall of Fame father is at home, telling Ric Flair that her title win is for “The Nature Boy”, concluding with a “woo” in her father’s honor. However, Charlotte and the rest of the fans in attendance would be shocked by the unexpected arrival of the man himself, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair as the Flairs embrace with tears streaming down their faces, celebrating another championship for the Flair dynasty. After Chad Gable delivered a vicious chop block to Jey Uso that effectively ended their title match last week, SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso, with Jey Uso in his corner, would go one-on-one with Chad Gable, with Shelton Benjamin in his corner. During the match, Chad Gable would get in the face of Jey Uso on the outside and Gable would end up paying for it as Jey would chase Gable into the ring where Jimmy Uso was waiting with a super kick as Jimmy pins Gable for the win. Then it was time for the main event as, before they face The Shield in a 6-Man Tag match this Sunday at Survivor Series, The New Day’s Big E & Xavier Woods, with Kofi Kingston in their corner, would face Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in tag team action. During the match, Big E looked to be close to ending the match as he sized Sami Zayn up but this is when the action would be halted by the arrival of The Shield! As the three RAW Superstars invade SmackDown LIVE, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn stand united with The New Day in the ring. However, despite having the two-man advantage, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn would abandon The New Day before all hell breaks loose with The Shield fighting The New Day. The Usos would then rush down to the ring, briefly coming face-to-face with their cousin Roman Reigns before Seth Rollins jumps in to attack The Usos. The situation would continue to get more out of hand as The Shield apparently didn’t come from RAW alone as RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus emerge from the crowd to take part in the interpromotional brawl! Meanwhile, in the backstage area, RAW’s Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Asuka, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss would storm the SmackDown LIVE women’s locker room, attacking every SmackDown LIVE Superstar in sight including Carmella, Naomi, Tamina, Lana, new SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and Survivor Series team captain Becky Lynch! The six RAW women then surround Charlotte Flair before Alexa Bliss fires off a stiff forearm, laying out her Survivor Series opponent. Back in the arena, the RAW invasion would continue as Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, and Titus O’Neil would join the fight. Shane McMahon would then lead the reinforcements of Baron Corbin, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger, Dolph Ziggler, and The Hype Bros as Shane and the SmackDown LIVE roster would do their best to try and overcome the invaders. However, things would be majorly tipped in the favor of the red team once RAW General Manager Kurt Angle appears on stage and calls for “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman! Braun takes out The Hype Bros on his way to the ring before tossing Shinsuke Nakamura out of the ring. Shane McMahon would try to stand up to Strowman but the Commissioner was no match for “The Monster Among Men”, who lays Shane out with ease. The Shield then forces Shane to watch as the RAW Superstars lay waste to SmackDown LIVE on the outside. On the outside, Samoa Joe breaks Xavier Woods’ trombone over the back of Big E as Kurt Angle steps into the ring. With The Shield holding Shane up, Kurt tells Shane that, if he thinks this is bad, Shane should wait until this Sunday. With that, the RAW General Manager gives the thumbs up then the thumbs down, instructing The Shield to lay Shane out with the three-man powerbomb! However, with The Shield and Braun Strowman standing by, Kurt Angle decides to get his hands dirty before Survivor Series, delivering the Angle Slam to the SmackDown LIVE Commissioner! The Shield then pulls Shane to his feet to deliver another three-man powerbomb before Kurt Angle, The Shield, and Braun Strowman leave the ring, joining the rest of the RAW roster on the stage as The Shield, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Cesaro & Sheamus, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alicia Fox, Asuka, Nia Jax, Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, and Kurt Angle all stand on the SmackDown LIVE stage, having decimated the SmackDown LIVE roster as The New Day, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler all climb back into the ring with Shane McMahon as SmackDown LIVE gets a taste of their own medicine by having their show being put under siege by RAW just five nights before the two brands go head-to-head at Survivor Series.
