During the match, Jason Jordan would suplex The Miz into The Miztourage on the outside before Jordan brings the champion back into the ring, locking in the Crossface with The Miz just barely able to get to the bottom rope to break the hold. Shortly after this, Bo Dallas would run interference, allowing Curtis Axel to hang Jason Jordan up on the top rope behind the back of the referee. The Miz then takes advantage, hitting Jason Jordan with the Skull Crushing Finale, pinning Jordan to pick up the win and successfully retain the Intercontinental Title. In a match billed as being “man-to-man”, the rivalry between Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt would continue at No Mercy as Finn Balor would go one-on-one with Bray Wyatt. However, before the match can begin, Bray Wyatt would attack Finn Balor from behind, putting the boots to Finn before tossing Balor out of the ring. Bray then tosses Finn into the barricade before repeatedly bouncing Finn face-first off of the announce table and slamming Finn on the announce table, causing Balor to clutch his ribs. Bray then heads into the ring as referees rush out to check on Finn Balor. The referees then help Finn to his feet before helping Balor to the back as Bray grabs a microphone, telling Finn to “run away” and referring to himself as a “god”. Bray then says that Finn isn’t even a man, calling Finn a “coward”. This would raise the ire of Finn Balor as, injured or not, Finn would make a beeline for the ring with the match officially getting underway. During the match, Finn Balor would struggle to overcome his injured ribs, but Finn would manage to battle back, hitting the Coup de Grace to the back of Bray Wyatt’s neck, but Bray kicks out. Shortly after this, Finn Balor would hit his traditional Coup de Grace on Bray Wyatt, pinning Bray to pick up the win. The RAW Tag Team Titles would then be on the line at No Mercy as, in a rematch from SummerSlam, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins would defend the RAW Tag Team Titles against former champions Cesaro & Sheamus. Early on in the match, Cesaro & Sheamus would look to take out Dean Ambrose early as, on the outside, Cesaro would swing Dean Ambrose head and shoulder-first into the steel steps. Later on in the match, a catapult from Seth Rollins to Cesaro in the corner would result in Cesaro getting some of his teeth knocked out! Later on in an incredible match, Sheamus would inadvertently hit Cesaro with the Brogue Kick and this would give Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins the opportunity to capitalize as Rollins hits Sheamus with the King’s Landing before Ambrose follows it up with Dirty Deeds, pinning Sheamus to pick up the win and successfully retain the RAW Tag Team Titles in a grueling title match. Alexa Bliss’ back would be against the wall at No Mercy as “The Goddess” would put the RAW Women’s Title on the line in a Fatal 5-Way Match against “The Boss” Sasha Banks, the dominant Nia Jax, the outspoken Emma, and the returning Bayley with the first Superstar to score a pinfall or submission in the ring walking out as the RAW Women’s Champion. During a wild match, Emma and Bayley would work together to try and powerbomb Nia Jax off of the ring apron and, with a double dropkick from Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks, Emma and Bayley would pull it off, folding Nia in half with a sickening powerbomb on the floor! Later on in the match, in a wild sequence of events, Sasha Banks would lock the Bank Statement in on Alexa Bliss only for Bayley to break it up and try to pin Alexa but Alexa would kick out. Bayley then hits the champion with the Bayley-to-Belly, but Sasha intervenes to break up the pin before going for the pin herself! Bayley then breaks this up before Nia Jax returns to the ring, taking Bayley out before hitting a big leg drop on Sasha with Emma breaking up the pinfall attempt at the last second. Nia then charges at Alexa, but Alexa moves out of the way and Nia collides with the ring post. Alexa then shoves Bayley into Emma, knocking Emma off of the ring apron before “The Goddess” connects with the DDT to Bayley, pinning Bayley to survive an unpredictable melee as the RAW Women’s Champion. Then it was time for a showdown of WrestleMania proportions as, for the first time ever, sixteen-time former World Champion John Cena would go one-on-one with “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns. During the match, John Cena would fail to put Roman Reigns away with the Attitude Adjustment and, later on, Cena would hit Reigns with the Attitude Adjustment off of the second rope, but Roman would kick out. Cena would then expose the Spanish and German announce tables on the outside with the intent of putting Reigns through one of the tables, but Roman would fight out of an Attitude Adjustment attempt, drilling Cena with a Spear that sends both men crashing through the Spanish announce table! Reigns manages to get to his feet first, rolling Cena into the ring and going for the pin, but Cena kicks out. Reigns then sizes Cena up for the Spear but Cena counters, planting Reigns with the Attitude Adjustment before rolling through and delivering a second Attitude Adjustment but Roman was still able to kick out! Both Superstars then get back to their feet before Reigns is able to catch Cena with the Superman Punch, following it up with the Spear, finally putting John Cena down for the three-count as “The Big Dog” picks up another career-making win. After the match, John Cena would show his respect for Roman Reigns, raising the hand of “The Big Dog” before Reigns leaves the ring, leaving Cena sitting in the corner, soaking in the loss. Cena then gets to his feet, bowing to the fans and waving before exiting the ring and walking up the ramp, standing on the stage and saluting the fans before walking to the back. The WWE Cruiserweight Championship would then be on the line at No Mercy as “The King of the Cruiserweights” Neville would defend the title against the loudmouth Enzo Amore. During the match, Neville would look to get a count-out victory over Enzo Amore, but Enzo would grab the WWE Cruiserweight Title belt and this would enrage Neville enough to leave the ring, breaking the count. Enzo then enters the ring with the title belt, agreeing to give the belt to the referee but, as the referee’s back is turned, Enzo would deliver a blatant low blow to Neville, pinning Neville to steal the WWE Cruiserweight Title as Enzo walks out as the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion! Then it was time for a colossal main event between two behemoths as “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, with his advocate Paul Heyman in his corner, would defend the Universal Championship against his most formidable challenger to date, “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. Early on in the match, Braun Strowman would dominate Brock Lesnar, hitting his signature running powerslam, but “The Beast” was able to kick out. Braun would then continue to dominate the champion, sending Brock to the outside and sending Brock back-first into the ring post. Back in the ring, “The Monster Among Men” would then twice slam Brock in the corner before charging at the champion, but Brock moves out of the way and Strowman collides with the turnbuckle. Brock then locks in the Kimura Lock on “The Monster Among Men”, finally bringing Braun down to the mat with the punishing submission with Strowman managing to reach out and grab the bottom rope to break the hold. Strowman is then able to hoist Lesnar up and plant the champion with a spinebuster, nearly putting Brock away. “The Beast” then drills Braun with a trio of German suplexes before hooking Braun up for a fourth German suplex, following it up with a fifth consecutive German suplex. Brock then goes for the F-5, but the challenger counters as Braun picks “The Beast” up, drilling Brock with the running powerslam, but the injured arm of Strowman keeps the challenger from taking advantage. “The Monster Among Men” then manages to hit another running powerslam but Braun is too weak for a solid cover. Strowman then looks for a third straight running powerslam, but Brock was somehow able to hoist “The Monster Among Men” up, delivering the F-5 and pinning Braun Strowman to successfully retain the Universal Title in a hard-fought title defense.
