WWE SmackDown LIVE Results: July 25, 2017By Cassidy| July 26, 2017 WWE SmackDown Redemption in Richmond. Two nights after Battleground, the 936th edition of WWE SmackDown LIVE came to you, live, from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA. In the grueling main event of Battleground, Jinder Mahal would put the WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match. In a savage match that included kendo sticks and steel chairs, Randy Orton would have to combat the disadvantage of a three-on-one battle inside the Punjabi Prison after The Singh Brothers found their way into the structure. Orton would take out Samir Singh by sending Samir soaring off of the twenty-foot outer structure through the announce table before also taking out Sunil Singh with a steel chair. With Jinder Mahal and both of The Singh Brothers out of the way, Randy Orton would climb the outer structure as there seemed to be nobody stopping him from winning his fourteenth World Title. However, a former World Heavyweight Champion would make his shocking return as The Great Khali (the inventor of the Punjabi Prison Match) would shake the Punjabi Prison to make Orton fall down to his level before Khali held “The Viper” by the throat as Jinder Mahal climbed up and over the outer structure, again escaping as the WWE Champion thanks to The Great Khali! What’s next for WWE Champion Jinder Mahal now that Randy Orton is seemingly in his rearview mirror? Match Results Shinsuke Nakamura def. Baron Corbin by pin following the Kinshasa.
