WWE RAW Results: June 12, 2017By Cassidy| June 13, 2017 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results “The Beast” wastes no time in handling his business as RAW kicks off with the return of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar as Brock makes his way to the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman in tow. Heyman states that he is there to “unleash The Beast”, stating that tonight is Samoa Joe’s “day of reckoning”. The advocate then says that Samoa Joe “lured” him in and took him out last week, saying that Joe put his hands on Brock’s “guy”. Heyman continues, saying that Brock Lesnar “has a problem” and the Universal Champion is the greatest “problem solver” in WWE history. Heyman then says that he thought that Samoa Joe was the man who would step up and be a “worthy challenger” for Brock Lesnar. Heyman says that the wrestling business is rich with Samoan heritage but those Samoans want “nothing to do with” Samoa Joe before the advocate refers to Joe as a “mutt” and a “punk”. Heyman then says that Samoa Joe’s one “defining moment” was putting the Coquina Clutch on Paul Heyman, saying that the Coquina Clutch was everything Samoa Joe said it would be. Heyman then proclaims that Samoa Joe will “never” get the Coquina Clutch on Brock Lesnar because Joe isn’t “man enough” to lock in the Coquina Clutch on Lesnar. This brings out the #1 Contender for the Universal Championship, Samoa Joe, who makes a beeline for the ring with his sights set on Brock Lesnar as Paul Heyman quickly leaves the ring with the Universal Title belt. Brock dares Joe to enter the ring before champion and challenger go face-to-face and Joe fires the first shot against “The Beast” with a headbutt before Lesnar takes it to the #1 Contender in the corner. RAW General Manager Kurt Angle then shows up on the stage, calling for security to break up the fight and, while security is briefly able to restrain Brock Lesnar, “The Beast” would let loose on the security, sending the peacemakers flying! Angle then calls for the RAW locker room to break up the fight as Gallows & Anderson, The Revival, Titus O’Neil, Apollo Crews, Kalisto, Curt Hawkins, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater & Rhyno, and Enzo & Big Cass all rush out to try and separate Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe! However, Samoa Joe was able to break free and catch Brock Lesnar with a kick to the face, toppling the Universal Champion. The RAW Superstars then resort to pulling Samoa Joe out of the ring to try and create separation between Brock and Joe but Brock Lesnar breaks free and leaves the ring to come after the #1 Contender and the locker room again has to step in, managing to keep the two animalistic competitors at bay for the time being. After crashing The Miz’s championship celebration last week and laying the Intercontinental Champion out with Dirty Deeds, Dean Ambrose was in action on RAW as “The Lunatic Fringe” would go one-on-one with Elias Samson. During the match, The Miz would come out to distract Dean Ambrose, nearly costing Ambrose the match. However, “The Lunatic Fringe” would stay alive in the match before turning his attention to The Miz on the outside. However, The Miz puts Maryse in between himself as The Miz tries to run away. After nearly getting counted out thanks to The Miz & Maryse, Dean Ambrose would barely beat the count back into the ring but Elias Samson was quick to pounce on Ambrose, dropping a knee on the head of Ambrose before hitting his swinging neckbreaker, pinning “The Lunatic Fringe” for the win, much the enjoyment of The Miz. The Cruiserweights were in action on RAW as Cedric Alexander would go one-on-one with Noam Dar. However, Noam Dar’s pre-occupation with Alicia Fox arguing with him on his phone would cost Dar as Cedric would take advantage of the distraction, quickly hitting Noam with the Lumbar Check and pinning Dar for the win. “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt would then make an appearance on RAW, saying that those who deny him will be “judged” and those who “blaspheme” his name will be “punished”. Bray then turns his attention to Seth Rollins, saying that it only took “one dose” of his truth to bring Rollins’ “glass house” crumbling down. Bray continues, saying that Seth’s “transgression” has painted a vivid picture of a law that they all live by. Wyatt then says that, if you take his name in vain, then you will “fall” before “The Eater of Worlds” is interrupted by Seth Rollins as “The Kingslayer” makes his way to the ring. Seth says that, when he called Bray a “false prophet”, it was the truth and Bray doesn’t operate well in the light. Rollins then says that Bray chooses to “strike from the darkness” and that makes Bray a “coward”, saying that, if Bray doesn’t agree, then he’s daring Wyatt to prove him wrong. Bray responds by saying that Seth is “oozing arrogance” and, when Rollins looks in the mirror, he sees “the man” but when he looks at Seth, he sees a man that is “beneath” him. Wyatt then says that Seth doesn’t want this fight as his “power” is more than Rollins can possibly fathom before saying that Rollins has found the “will to slay a king”. The lights go out in the arena and, when they come back on, Bray has disappeared. However, Wyatt would then appear back on the Tron, telling Seth Rollins that Seth may have slayed a “king” but a “god lives forever”. Bray then laughs maniacally before telling Seth to face his fear and “run”. Kalisto’s battle with “The Titus Brand” would continue on RAW as Kalisto would go one-on-one with Apollo Crews, with Titus O’Neil in his corner as well as Titus’ next potential client, Akira Tozawa, in the front row. In the end, it was Apollo Crews hitting his sitout powerbomb and pinning Kalisto for the win. After the match, Titus would pick Akira Tozawa up out of the front row and toss Tozawa in the ring. Apollo & Titus then raise the hands of Tozawa before the three take a selfie together. After using a disqualification to escape from Nia Jax as the RAW Women’s Champion last week, the champion was on RAW as RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring. Alexa says that she was “forced” to defend the title against Nia Jax last week but she has “no obligations” to defend the title tonight. The champion is then interrupted by Nia Jax as Alexa said that Nia deserved that title shot, saying that Bliss promised her, getting in the face of the champion. Alexa says that she wanted them to have a classic title match last week, but they didn’t get to have that moment because it was “ruined” by Mickie James and Dana Brooke, saying they are the “real problems” here. This brings out Mickie James & Dana Brooke as Mickie calls Alexa a “dwarf”, reminding Bliss that she’s a six-time former champion. Now in the ring, Mickie recounts Alexa saying that having to defend the title against Nia was “unfair”. Dana then reminds the champion that Alexa said last week that “we” have a “Nia Jax problem”. Alexa then tells Nia to consider the sources, calling Dana a “disgruntled worker” and saying that Mickie is afraid that her spotlight is “dimming by the second”, saying that either of them will do anything to get attention. This brings out the returning Emma as Emma joins the women in the ring, saying that they can put the spotlight on her where it belongs because she’s back. Emma then says that she’s ready to take her spot on top of the RAW women’s division. Still trying to appeal to Nia Jax, Alexa calls Emma a “wannabe” before Sasha Banks joins the party as “The Boss” makes her way to the ring. Sasha says that, to her, being a champion means proving that you are the best day in and day out. Banks then says that they have a ring full of women wanting a shot at Alexa’s RAW Women’s Title before saying that, since Alexa wants to throw a “party”, she is going to show Bliss how “The Boss” throws a party. As a result of the brawl, the RAW women’s division was in action on RAW as “The Boss” Sasha Banks would join forces with Mickie James and Dana Brooke to face RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Emma, and Nia Jax in a 6-Woman Tag match. During the match, Emma would go for the tag to Alexa Bliss, but the RAW Women’s Champion would drop off of the ring apron, abandoning her team! This would leave Emma and Nia Jax alone against Sasha Banks, Mickie James, and Dana Brooke and, while Emma would nearly surprise Sasha with a roll-up, “The Boss” would counter into the Bank Statement, making Emma tap out to pick up the win for her team as Alexa Bliss watches from the stage. Appearing for the first time since her loss to Alexa Bliss in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match at Extreme Rules, Bayley would have a special sit-down interview with Corey Graves. Bayley says that she’s never been in a match like that before, saying that she’s there to “put smiles on people’s faces”. Bayley then says that she didn’t get there being something that she’s not and she’s not going to change who she is, saying that she’s going to do what’s best for her. When asked what the future holds for her, Bayley says that, ever since she started training nine years ago, she’s always wanted to the best and that hasn’t changed. Bayley then says that she wants to recapture the RAW Women’s Title and she wants the fans to know that they can do it and they can do it their way. Corey then concludes the interview with Bayley giving Graves an awkward hug. After a backstage confrontation where The Miz failed to recruit Heath Slater to join his “entourage”, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, with Maryse in his corner, would have to find a partner to face Heath Slater & Rhyno in tag team action on RAW. Just when it looked like The Miz was going to have to go it alone against the former tag team champions, The Miz would get an unusual tag team partner in the form of the Congratulations Bear from his celebration last week! During the match, the Congratulations Bear would tag himself into the match, locking in a bear hug on Heath Slater before tagging out of the match. However, The Miz would then decide to attack the bear from behind, sending the bear into the barricade and into the ring apron. Again thinking the bear is Dean Ambrose, The Miz would remove the bear head to reveal that it was not Ambrose. Back in the ring, Heath Slater would spot the bear coming back into the ring and would decide to help the bear to his feet. However, the bear would respond by hitting Slater with Dirty Deeds! Maryse would see this take place and would try to tell her husband that the bear is actually Dean Ambrose this time. The Miz would then turn around to face the bear, who removes his bear head to reveal that is Dean Ambrose. The Miz then tries to make a quick exit from the ring, but in his haste to escape Ambrose, The Miz inadvertently knocks Maryse off of the ring apron! As Maryse makes her way to the back, Dean Ambrose would take advantage of the distraction, spiking the Intercontinental Champion with Dirty Deeds. Ambrose then drapes Heath Slater over The Miz, giving Heath Slater & Rhyno the win. After the match, Ambrose would further humiliate The Miz by putting the bear head on The Miz. The Cruiserweight Champion was in action on RAW as Neville was set to go one-on-one with Rich Swann in a non-title match. However, before the match can begin, Neville would attack Rich Swann from behind before locking in the Rings of Saturn on Swann. The referee would struggle to pull Neville off of Rich Swann before the champion lets go of the hold. Neville then tells Rich Swann to get out of his ring, kicking Swann to the outside before proclaiming that it “feels good to be a king”. Neville then asks how many “pretenders” will he have to beat before he gets the respect he deserves. The champion then says that he’s heard what has been said about Akira Tozawa, advising Tozawa to “tread carefully” or be forced to “bend the knee”. After Big Cass was taken out by the mysterious assailant(s) that have been targeting Enzo & Big Cass as of late, Enzo & Big Cass were scheduled to face Gallows & Anderson on RAW. However, much like last week, Big Cass was discovered face-down on the floor backstage by a couple of referees. With The Revival spotted exiting the scene in the background, Enzo Amore would rush to the aid of his fallen tag team partner as Big Cass struggles to get to his feet. Big Cass says that he got hit in the back of the head and he has no idea who did it with Big Cass insisting on being there for his tag partner. This leaves Gallows & Anderson guffawing in the ring, accusing Big Cass of being afraid to face them. Despite being assaulted backstage, Big Cass would be there for his partner as Enzo & Big Cass would face Gallows & Anderson on RAW. Big Cass would struggle to stay vertical in the match and would tag in Enzo. When Enzo goes for the tag, Big Cass is unable to be there for his partner due to his injuries and this would spell the end for Enzo & Big Cass in the match as Gallows & Anderson hit Enzo with the Magic Killer with Karl Anderson pinning Enzo for the win. After the match, Gallows & Anderson would look to hit Enzo with a second Magic Killer but Big Show would make his way to the ring, scaring off Gallows & Anderson. As Big Cass climbs onto the ring apron, Big Show helps Enzo to his feet, hugging Enzo before raising the hand of Amore. Big Show then leaves the ring as Big Cass argues with Enzo over Enzo apparently making friends with another big man. After losing the RAW Tag Team Titles to Cesaro & Sheamus in a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules, The Hardy Boyz would get their rematch for the gold as the main event of the evening would see Matt & Jeff challenge Cesaro & Sheamus for the RAW Tag Team Titles in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, where the first team to score two falls by either pinfall, submission, disqualification, or count-out will walk out as the tag team champions. Early on in the match, Cesaro & Sheamus were quick to take the early advantage as, with Cesaro taking Matt Hardy out on the outside, Sheamus would catch Jeff Hardy out of mid-air with the Brogue Kick to the mid-section, pinning Jeff to give the champions the 1-0 lead over The Hardy Boyz. Later on in the match, Matt Hardy would take it to the champions on his own, hitting Sheamus with the Side Effect on the ring apron before connecting with the Twist of Fate to Cesaro, pinning Cesaro to score the fall for The Hardy Boyz, evening things up in the match. With just one fall remaining to decide the match, Cesaro and Matt Hardy would battle on the outside while Sheamus and Jeff Hardy battle in the ring. Jeff then looked to have the titles in hand after hitting Sheamus with the Swanton Bomb but Cesaro would manage to pull Sheamus out of the ring at the last second. A brawl then breaks out between Cesaro & Sheamus and The Hardy Boyz on the outside but the animosity would prove to get the better of the two teams as both teams would pay no attention to the referee’s count, which results in the final fall of the match being a double count-out. Even with the match concluded, Cesaro & Sheamus would try to take out Matt Hardy, but Matt would fight back, sending Sheamus into the ring post before dropping Cesaro with a back body drop on the floor. Jeff then dives off of the top rope, taking out Cesaro & Sheamus, which leaves The Hardy Boyz standing tall in the ring, having come so close to reclaiming the RAW Tag Team Titles.
