WWE RAW Results: April 10, 2017By Cassidy| April 11, 2017 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results The special Superstar Shake-Up edition of RAW kicks off with an unexpected surprise as it appeared as though SmackDown LIVE Superstars John Cena & Nikki Bella would make a special appearance on RAW, but instead it was The Miz & Maryse doing their parodies of John Cena & Nikki Bella as the SmackDown LIVE couple kicks off RAW as it’s revealed that The Miz & Maryse are now members of the RAW roster! After declaring “the champ is here”, the faux John Cena says that he didn’t propose to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania for the “publicity”. The faux Nikki Bella then says that Hollywood did not want them before “John Cena” says that Hollywood said that they are “not good actors” so they’ve instead decided to come to RAW! “John Cena” and “Nikki Bella” are then interrupted by a huge acquisition for the RAW brand as Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring as the Intercontinental Champion is now a part of RAW! Falling for the shtick of The Miz & Maryse, Dean Ambrose congratulates the faux Cena & Nikki on beating The Miz & Maryse at WrestleMania, saying The Miz & Maryse are the “worst”. The Miz & Maryse then show Dean that they’re not actually John Cena & Nikki Bella and the Intercontinental Champion responds by spiking The Miz with Dirty Deeds! Dean Ambrose then stands tall in the ring holding up the Intercontinental Title as Maryse checks on The Miz on the outside as RAW kicks off the Superstar Shake-Up bringing The Miz & Maryse and Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose from SmackDown LIVE to RAW! With Kofi Kingston out of action with an ankle injury thanks to The Revival, The New Day’s Big E & Xavier Woods would be out for revenge on RAW as the opening match of the night would see Big E & Xavier Woods face The Revival in tag team action. In the end, it was The Revival hitting Xavier Woods with the Shatter Machine out of mid-air as Dash Wilder pins Xavier to pick up the win for The Revival, beating The New Day for the second week in a row. RAW’s newest acquisition from SmackDown LIVE, Curt Hawkins, would then make an appearance on RAW, proclaiming that he is back on RAW. Hawkins then asks for a “welcoming committee” before Curt is interrupted by “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show! Without saying a word, Big Show would walk to the ring and level Curt Hawkins with the Knockout Punch before leaving the ring. Before he challenges Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship in a few weeks at Payback, “A-Double” Austin Aries would go one-on-one with T.J. Perkins on RAW with Cruiserweight Champion Neville a guest on commentary. During the match, Neville would make his way down the ramp, distracting Austin Aries long enough for T.J. Perkins to take advantage, rolling Aries up to pick up the surprise win. After the match, T.J. Perkins would show a new side of himself, attacking Austin Aries from behind and hitting the #1 Contender with the Detonation Kick, leaving Aries laid out. With speculation abound regarding which Superstars are going to which brand in the ongoing Superstar Shake-Up, Seth Rollins would make an appearance on RAW to reveal what his fate will be. Seth says that he put everything he had into making it to WrestleMania and he couldn’t afford to think about what would happen after WrestleMania, saying that he woke up after a “war” with Triple H at WrestleMania and he was physically “messed up” the next day. Rollins continues, saying that, mentally, he was “at peace”, proclaiming that “we did it” when they “slayed the King of Kings”. Seth then tells the fans “thank you” before saying that they are “just getting started”, saying that he has some unfinished business with Samoa Joe and he wants to get his hands on the Universal Championship. Rollins then admits that, based on what happened at WrestleMania, he may not get those opportunities. Seth then shows the footage from WrestleMania where a super kick from Rollins would accidentally send Triple H into his wife and RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon as Stephanie was taken out of commission after going through a table. Rollins then says that Stephanie is eventually going to get better and she’s going to have to see Seth’s face and it’s going to remind the Commissioner of her “failure” and her husband’s “defeat” at WrestleMania. Seth continues, saying that he’s probably going to be “public enemy number one” when Stephanie comes back, so it may be easier for him to just pack his bags and go to SmackDown LIVE. Rollins then says that’s the “easy way out” before saying that he took the easy way out once before and he’s not going to do it again before saying that, if Stephanie wants to send him to SmackDown LIVE, then the Commissioner better bring an “army” to drag him out of Long Island because he’s not leaving without a “fight”! This brings out RAW General Manager Kurt Angle, admitting that it’s true that Stephanie McMahon wants Seth Rollins “gone” and, if they would have had this conversation before WrestleMania then Seth would have been gone. The GM then says that, at WrestleMania, Seth was the “one-legged man” and he won an “ass-kicking contest” before saying that his agenda is to put on the best show that he can. Angle then says that his show has “Seth freakin’ Rollins” before saying that, as long as he’s the RAW General Manager, Seth Rollins is staying on RAW! The GM then leaves the ring, but this is when Samoa Joe would ambush Seth Rollins, sparking a brawl between Rollins and Joe! Angle would do his best to try and break it up to no avail with “The Architect” getting the better of Samoa Joe, sending Joe into retreat. Seth then dares Joe to come back into the ring, but “The Destroyer” decides to back off for the time being. After Charlotte Flair took issue with Nia Jax last week and found herself on the receiving end of an elbow drop from Nia Jax, RAW would see Charlotte Flair go one-on-one with Nia Jax. Throughout the match, Nia Jax would dominate Charlotte Flair before hitting the Samoan Drop, pinning Charlotte for the impressive win. Following his return to RAW last week, Finn Balor was in action on RAW as “The Demon King” would go one-on-one with Jinder Mahal. In the end, it was Finn Balor hitting the Coup de Grace, pinning Jinder Mahal for the win. However, after the match, the Superstar Shake-Up yields another surprise arrival to RAW from SmackDown LIVE as “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt appears on the Tron! The former WWE Champion proclaims that “this is my home now” before saying that he didn’t come to RAW empty-handed, saying that he brought a special “gift”. Bray then explains that, in three weeks at the RAW pay-per-view Payback, he and Randy Orton are going to face off in his House of Horrors Match. Wyatt then tells Finn Balor that he better watch himself because he will certainly be watching Balor before declaring “I’m here”. After being revealed as one of the newest acquisitions for RAW from SmackDown LIVE, the self-proclaimed “A-Lister” The Miz, with Maryse in his corner, would go one-on-one with Sami Zayn on RAW. During the match, Maryse would repeatedly get involved on her husband’s behalf, saving The Miz from the Helluva Kick and grabbing Sami Zayn’s leg when Sami tries to get back into the ring. However, it would all be for naught as Sami would counter The Miz’s attempt at the Skull Crushing Finale into a roll-up, picking up an unexpected win over The Miz! In a special backstage interview with Michael Cole, Roman Reigns would discuss his WrestleMania match against The Undertaker in what certainly appeared to be The Undertaker’s last match. Cole first asks Reigns if he feels any “remorse” over the speculation that WrestleMania was The Undertaker’s last match. Roman says that he has a lot of respect for The Undertaker, saying that “it is what it is” and he did what he said he was going to do. Reigns then states, “this is my yard now” before Roman abruptly gets out of his seat to try and intercept a charging Braun Strowman! However, “The Monster Among Men” tosses Reigns into the wall before hurling Roman through the air and through two tables! Security and referees try to stop the assault but Braun would continue the attack, repeatedly tossing Reigns into a metal garage door before picking Roman up and hitting his running powerslam on a nearby anvil case! With Roman laid up against the wall, Strowman would commandeer an anvil case, shoving the heavy case full-force into the head and chest of Roman Reigns! Referees and security then call for the EMT’s as Braun Strowman finally ceases his assault. EMT’s then arrive on the scene, securing Roman Reigns to a backboard and loading Reigns onto a stretcher. However, just when it looked like the worst was over for Reigns, Braun Strowman would return to the scene, taking control of the stretcher and sending the stretcher, with Reigns helplessly attached, careening off of a platform to the concrete floor below! With Reigns motionless, the EMT’s would again tend to Roman Reigns, loading Roman in an ambulance before Braun shows up again, this time pummeling Roman in the back of the ambulance before Strowman does the unthinkable as “The Monster Among Men” actually manages to use his ungodly strength to tip the entire ambulance on its side! The EMT’s then pull Reigns from the wrecked ambulance, loading Roman into a second ambulance as Reigns is finally taken to a local medical facility. The RAW Tag Team Champions were in action on RAW as The Hardy Boyz would actually team with the #1 Contenders for their titles, Cesaro & Sheamus to face Gallows & Anderson and The Shining Stars in an 8-Man Tag Match. Just as the 8-Man Tag Match gets underway, “The Drifter” Elias Samson shows up on RAW, wandering around on the stage. In the end, it was Matt Hardy hitting Epico with the Twist of Fate before tagging in Jeff Hardy, who hits the Swanton Bomb, pinning Epico to pick up the win for The Hardy Boyz and Cesaro & Sheamus. “The Boss” would then make an appearance on RAW as Sasha Banks would make her way to the ring. Sasha would say that she has some “unfinished business”, but before getting to that, Sasha would introduce her best friend as RAW Women’s Champion Bayley makes her way to the ring. The champion says that she needs to thank the fans, saying that, without the fans, she wouldn’t have had her WrestleMania moment. Sasha tells Bayley that WrestleMania didn’t exactly go the way that she planned but she wants to congratulate the champion on the biggest moment of her career before saying that her moment is “over”. Sasha is then about to ask for a shot at the RAW Women’s Title before Sasha is interrupted by the latest RAW acquisition as former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss arrives on RAW! Alexa says that she’s the only one who deserves any recognition around here, saying that she is going to take over the RAW Women’s Division. Alexa then says that she can’t wait to leave all the SmackDown LIVE “drama” behind and focus on what she does best. However, Bliss is then interrupted by someone she knows all too well as former Women’s Champion Mickie James also arrives on RAW! Mickie proclaims that she is back on RAW before telling Alexa’s “nightmare has just begun”. However, Mickie James is then blindsided by Nia Jax as Nia takes out Mickie before entering the ring. Alexa Bliss shoves Sasha Banks into Nia Jax and Bayley knocks Alexa out of the ring as Nia takes it to Sasha, tossing “The Boss” out of the ring. Nia Jax then plants Bayley with a Samoan Drop before holding up the RAW Women’s Title, saying the title belongs to her. Nia then exits the ring, glaring at Alexa Bliss before heading to the back. Then it was time for the main event as, in a Champion vs. Champion match, United States Champion Kevin Owens would go one-on-one with one of the new arrivals to RAW, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose. In the end, it was Dean Ambrose hitting Kevin Owens with Dirty Deeds, pinning the United States Champion for the win. After the match, things would get worse for Kevin Owens as Chris Jericho would come down to the ring for a piece of his Payback opponent. “Y2J” is quick to take his former best friend out with the Codebreaker, leaving the United States Champion laid out in a measure of revenge for the assault Jericho received from Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe last week.
