WWE SmackDown LIVE Results: November 8, 2016By Cassidy| November 9, 2016 WWE SmackDown Hands-On Boss. Twelve nights before Survivor Series, the 899th edition of WWE SmackDown LIVE came to you from the SSE Hydro at the SECC in Glasgow, Scotland for the first time in history. Last week on SmackDown LIVE, Dean Ambrose received one last shot to become the #1 Contender for the WWE World Championship in a non-title match against WWE World Champion AJ Styles. Desperate to patch things up with Dean Ambrose after costing Ambrose the #1 Contender’s spot a week earlier, James Ellsworth would do everything in his power to help “The Lunatic Fringe” as Ellsworth would continue to escape security and Ellsworth’s efforts would ultimately pay off as Ambrose would pin the champion to become the #1 Contender. Now, at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs on December 4, Dean Ambrose will challenge AJ Styles for the WWE World Championship in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match! What will Dean Ambrose have to say following his victory last week? Also on SmackDown LIVE, after their scheduled title match at No Mercy was called off due to Becky Lynch being unable to compete, the match would take place on this week’s SmackDown LIVE as Becky Lynch would defend the SmackDown Women’s Title for the first time against Alexa Bliss.
