WWE SmackDown LIVE Results: November 29, 2016By Cassidy| November 30, 2016 WWE SmackDown Previous Page Detailed Results SmackDown LIVE kicks off with Renee Young in the ring as Renee would moderate the official contract signing for the SmackDown Women’s Title rematch between champion Becky Lynch and challenger Alexa Bliss this Sunday at WWE TLC. Renee introduces both competitors, who make their way to the ring before Alexa Bliss shoos Renee Young away. The #1 Contender says that she used to think that Becky was a “pathetic coward” who would go to any lengths to avoid her but now she realizes that would imply that the champion is “clever enough” to formulate a plan”. Alexa then says that, if it wasn’t for the referee not seeing her foot on the rope during their title match in Glasgow, then she would be the SmackDown Women’s Champion right now. Becky responds by saying that Alexa reminds her of her cousin, saying that her cousin is “obsessed with glitter” and throws a fit whenever she doesn’t get her way before saying that her cousin is “four years old”, asking Alexa “what’s your excuse?” Becky then says that, in Glasgow, Alexa had to choose whether to use her leg or lose her arm and, at WWE TLC, she’s not going to give her that choice again. The champion then signs the contract before Alexa says that she’d love to know what it’s like to live in Becky’s “fantasy world” where, if you’re nice to everybody and “work really hard”, you can accomplish anything. Becky argues that “being nice” didn’t get her into the “biggest women’s match of all-time” at WrestleMania and it isn’t the reason that she’s the SmackDown Women’s Champion, saying that she got those things because she is “relentless”, referring to herself as SmackDown LIVE’s version of a “honey badger”. The champion continues, saying that Alexa has been here for a few months and all that she’s got is some “multi-colored lips” and some “good sound bytes on Talking Smack”, saying that it takes more than that to be the champion. Alexa says that, no matter what, there is always someone who is “better” and she is standing right in front of her. Alexa then says that nothing that Becky does is going to matter this Sunday when she pours water on Becky’s “straight fire” and become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. The #1 Contender then signs the contract, making the title rematch official for WWE TLC. Becky then attacks Alexa Bliss as the WWE TLC opponents battle in the ring with the champion taking the #1 Contender to the corner, stomping Alexa in the corner. Becky then clears the contract signing table before putting Alexa on the top rope, looking for a T-bone suplex through a table, but Alexa pushes the champion off of the top rope and Becky is sent crashing through the table! Alexa then leaves the ring with a smirk on her face, having left the SmackDown Women’s Champion laid out in the ring. Before he challenges The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match at WWE TLC this Sunday, “The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler would team up with Kalisto to face Intercontinental Champion The Miz, with Maryse in his corner, and “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin, who will face Kalisto in a Chairs Match this Sunday. During the match, The Miz would bring Dolph Ziggler to the outside and this is when The Miz would pull a ladder out from under the ring. The Miz would prop the ladder up against the steel steps, but when The Miz tries to throw Dolph into it, Dolph counters, planting The Miz with a DDT on the floor before blasting Baron Corbin with the super kick! Dolph and The Miz are then barely able to make it back into the ring before the count of ten. Shortly after this, Kalisto dives to the outside, taking out Baron Corbin before The Miz brings Kalisto back into the ring. Dolph then catches The Miz with a super kick as the Intercontinental Champion is getting back into the ring. Maryse then shoves the ladder into Dolph behind the back of the referee as Kalisto hits The Miz with Salida del Sol, but this is when Baron Corbin comes into the ring with a steel chair, hitting Kalisto with the chair, thus ending the match by disqualification. Corbin then exits the ring as Kalisto is left down in the ring and Dolph is laid out on the outside. In their smoky, backstage location, Randy Orton tells Bray Wyatt that he used to be like American Alpha, but now he feels like he “truly belongs”. Orton then says that they proved at Survivor Series that their bond is “unbreakable” and, tonight, they are going to prove to American Alpha that they are the “best”. Orton then turns to Luke Harper, asking if Harper is going to do what needs to be done against Kane. Taking offense to this, Harper gets in the face of “The Viper” before Bray tells Harper to send Kane “back to hell”. Harper then exits as Bray looks at Orton, laughing before leaving as well. With a No Disqualification Match against Nikki Bella awaiting her at WWE TLC this Sunday, Carmella was set for action on SmackDown LIVE. However, before her match, Carmella had a few things to say about her WWE TLC opponent, Nikki Bella. Carmella addresses Nikki’s boyfriend John Cena, saying that she wants to “personally apologize” for what she is going to do to Nikki this Sunday. Carmella then says that she is going to hit Nikki so hard in the chest with a chair that her “Bella Twins” are going to be popping out of her back! Carmella continues, saying that she’s going to be doing Cena a “favor” because she is going to re-arrange Nikki’s face to the point that she won’t be thinking about a wedding. Having heard enough from Carmella, Nikki Bella rushes the ring, sparking a brawl between the two rivals. The referee tries his best to separate the two women, but fails to do so until Carmella is able to escape the ring, leaving Nikki standing in the ring. With a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match against champion AJ Styles for the WWE World Championship coming up this Sunday at WWE TLC, “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose would be on SmackDown LIVE for the return of his talk show segment, The Ambrose Asylum. With a table, ladder, and chairs set up in the ring, Dean Ambrose would make his way to the ring before introducing his guest, the newest member of the SmackDown LIVE roster, James Ellsworth, who joins Ambrose in the ring. Ambrose asks Ellsworth if he ever would have thought he would be a part of the SmackDown LIVE roster. Ellsworth says that he kept fighting until, eventually, he was at the “right place at the right time” and, thanks to Ambrose, he is now an official WWE Superstar. James then says that, if there’s “anything” that Ambrose ever needs, he’ll be there for him. Ambrose says that Ellsworth doesn’t owe him anything before deciding that Ellsworth could wash his car or make a trip to the convenience store for him. Dean then brings up Ellsworth’s future shot at the WWE World Title before asking who Ellsworth is picking to win the TLC Match for the title this Sunday. Ellsworth says that, while he would love to wrestle Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Title, he has defeated AJ Styles three times, so maybe he has his number and he can do it again! This brings out WWE World Champion AJ Styles, who gets on top of the announce table, saying that James Ellsworth is nothing but a “prop” to embarrass him. The champion then calls Ellsworth a “dummy” before Ambrose says that Styles lost three times to a “dummy”. Now on the ring apron, AJ Styles says that he’s tired of Ambrose making him look like a “joke”, saying that he demands “respect” and, if Ambrose doesn’t give it to him, he’s going to “beat it” out of Ambrose. The champion continues, getting in the ring before telling Ambrose that he’s going to beat Ambrose until he can’t stand anymore, saying that, when he’s done with Ambrose, he’s got “something special” in store for James Ellsworth. Styles then says that, if Ellsworth thinks his face is “disfigured” now, just wait until he gets his hands on tables, ladders, and chairs. Ambrose tells the champion that he’s never been more “rattled” in his life, telling AJ that he better get his head on straight because the “carnage” begins at WWE TLC and, when it’s all said and done, he will be left standing tall with what is rightfully his, the WWE World Championship. This is when AJ shoves James Ellsworth into Dean Ambrose, sending Ambrose into the ladder before tossing Ellsworth across the table. Styles then heads to the outside, sending Ambrose into the steel steps before dumping the steps on top of “The Lunatic Fringe”. AJ Styles then comes back into the ring, knocking James Ellsworth down before slamming the ladder on the back of Ellsworth, tossing James out of the ring. With Ellsworth hanging upside down from the bottom rope by his feet, the champion would hit Ellsworth with a vicious chair shot to the back. Styles then drags Ellsworth to the top of the steel steps before delivering a hellacious Styles Clash to Ellsworth from the steps to the arena floor! AJ then heads back into the ring as referees rush out to check on the motionless James Ellsworth. EMT’s then come out with a stretcher as Ellsworth is loaded onto a backboard, readying James for a trip to the hospital with Ambrose getting in the ambulance to ride to the hospital with Ellsworth. In a rematch from the Survivor Series Kickoff, The Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper would go one-on-one with “The Big Red Machine” Kane. Both big men would go counter-for-counter before Luke Harper scores with a super kick, but Kane is able to kick out. In the end, it was Kane planting Luke Harper with a chokeslam, pinning Harper for the win as Harper fails to do what was asked of him by Bray Wyatt. Backstage, Becky Lynch is icing her back from going through a table earlier in the night when she is interviewed about her match with Alexa Bliss. Renee Young reveals to the champion that Alexa has challenged Becky to make their title match this Sunday a Tables Match! Becky doesn’t back down from the challenge, saying that it doesn’t matter what kind of match they have because she will get her revenge on that “little bitch”! Then it was time for the main event as American Alpha would face the unholy alliance of Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton with the winners becoming the #1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles with a match against champions Heath Slater & Rhyno for the gold this Sunday at WWE TLC. During the match, Chad Gable would take Randy Orton out with a cannonball dive off of the ring apron, leaving it to Bray Wyatt and Jason Jordan in the ring. This is when Luke Harper would appear at ringside, distracting Jason Jordan. Bray would then look to take advantage with Sister Abigail, but Chad Gable would intervene before American Alpha sets Bray up for Grand Amplitude. However, this is when Randy Orton comes back into the ring, hitting Gable with the RKO before Jason Jordan hits Orton with a shoulder block in the corner. Jordan then goes for a shoulder block to Bray Wyatt, but Luke Harper pulls Bray out of the way and Jordan collides with the ring post. Bray then capitalizes with Sister Abigail to Jason Jordan, pinning Jordan for the win as Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton become the new #1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles as they will challenge Heath Slater & Rhyno for the gold this Sunday at WWE TLC! This leaves The Wyatt Family poised to take over the SmackDown LIVE tag team division at WWE TLC. Backstage, SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno are being interviewed about their title match this Sunday when WWE World Champion AJ Styles interrupts, saying that nobody really cares about the tag team titles, saying that the WWE World Title is all people care about. AJ then tells Slater to “shut up” and this leads to Rhyno getting in the face of the champion. This is when Dean Ambrose would emerge with revenge on his mind as a brawl breaks out between Styles and Ambrose with Ambrose pummeling the champion as Heath Slater & Rhyno cheer the fight on as Styles and Ambrose make a mess of the backstage area, knocking over tables and spilling food as “The Lunatic Fringe” continues to beat down the champion.
