WWE RAW Results: November 7, 2016By Cassidy| November 8, 2016 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results With the fifth member of Team RAW for the Men’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match against Team SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series still a mystery, the Scotland edition of RAW kicks off with RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. The Commissioner says that RAW will “dominate” SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series in the trio of Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Matches. Stephanie then introduces the five RAW Superstars who will make up Team RAW in the Men’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match as the Commissioner first introduces WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, who makes his way to the ring, followed by Owens’ best friend Chris Jericho, United States Champion Roman Reigns, and the dominant mastodon Braun Strowman. With Owens, Jericho, Reigns, and Strowman in the ring, Stephanie unveils the fifth and final member of Team RAW as none other than Seth Rollins will join Owens, Jericho, Reigns, & Strowman in less than two weeks at Survivor Series. Kevin Owens responds by saying Seth Rollins being on Team RAW is a “joke” before Rollins tells the WWE Universal Champion that the issues between him, Owens, and Chris Jericho are not over. Stephanie then reminds Team RAW of who they will be competing against at Survivor Series, showing Team SmackDown LIVE, which consists of WWE World Champion AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, & Baron Corbin. Stephanie ponders what it will be like when Team RAW’s Rollins & Reigns are on the opposite side of the ring from their former Shield teammate and Team SmackDown LIVE member Dean Ambrose. Stephanie then tells Braun that Bray Wyatt held him down when they were in The Wyatt Family together before saying that all five members of Team SmackDown LIVE should be on Chris Jericho’s List of Jericho. Stephanie then tells Kevin Owens to prove that he is a “better champion” than AJ Styles. The Commissioner then says that Team RAW needs to get on the same page and win or else what SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan had to say about RAW will be proven right, saying that the GM called Team RAW “lazy and complacent”. A fired up Stephanie then says that they are “the best of the best”, saying that they are going to “annihilate” Team SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series. Stephanie then declares that they are going to fight like their “jobs depend on it” because they do! The RAW Commissioner then leaves the ring before Kevin Owens says that he and Chris Jericho have been “taking over RAW” every week, but they’re man enough to admit that they’ve made a few “mistakes”. Jericho says that they know that Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are angry because they’re not the WWE Universal Champion, but they need to get through this together. Jericho then says that, even though they’re “stupid idiots”, they’re Team RAW’s “stupid idiots”. Owens then says that Rollins, Reigns, and Braun Strowman have to listen to their team co-captains. Jericho then tells Rollins, Reigns, & Strowman to stick with them and they will be victorious at Survivor Series. Jericho then tells Rollins, Reigns, & Strowman to keep their mouths shut and do what they say and they will win at Survivor Series. Having had enough of Owens & Jericho insulting them, Rollins & Reigns would attack the two best friends as Team RAW would implode in the middle of the ring. As Reigns and Owens battle on the outside, Braun Strowman goes into business for himself, hurling Seth Rollins across the ring before squashing Chris Jericho in the corner. Braun then tackles Rollins before slamming Jericho face-first in the middle of the ring. Strowman then exits the ring, locking eyes with Roman Reigns as Stephanie McMahon comes out to the stage. The RAW Commissioner says that they are going to get all of the hostility out of their systems before Survivor Series, saying that they will be a team at Survivor Series, but tonight it’s “every man for himself”. With that, Stephanie announces a Fatal 5-Way Match pitting Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Seth Rollins against each other tonight! In Cruiserweight tag team action, Scotland’s own Noam Dar would make his RAW debut, teaming with Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick to face the team of Rich Swann and Sin Cara. In the end, it was Rich Swann surprising The Brian Kendrick with a roll-up, pinning the Cruiserweight Champion to pick up the win for his team. After the match, The Brian Kendrick would confront Noam Dar in front of Dar’s home country, claiming that Dar lost the match, not him. The champion then calls Dar a “loser”, saying that Noam lost in his home country because he doesn’t have any “heart”. Kendrick then holds up the Cruiserweight Title, saying that he is the “best Cruiserweight in the world” before telling Dar that he is “disrespectful”. Kendrick then cheap shots Noam Dar, but Dar fights back, leveling the Cruiserweight Champion with a kick to the head, sending The Brian Kendrick out of the ring. Backstage, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon tells Sami Zayn that she finds Sami’s presence “irritating” before revealing that Sami Zayn is the one who will accept SmackDown LIVE Superstar Dolph Ziggler’s open challenge for an Intercontinental Title shot at Survivor Series. The Commissioner accuses Zayn of begging RAW General Manager Mick Foley for the opportunity before Sami tries to explain that it was more Foley’s idea than his own. However, Stephanie says that she doesn’t care what Sami has to say before stating that she believes that Rusev deserves to face Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series. The Commissioner then announces that, tonight, Sami Zayn will go one-on-one with Rusev tonight with the winner earning the match against Dolph. Stephanie then drives home the point that, whoever ends up challenging for the Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series, had better bring the title “home” to RAW. Before they make up Team RAW in the Tag Team Traditional 10-on-10 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match against Team SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series, Enzo & Big Cass, Gallows & Anderson, The Golden Truth, and Cesaro & Sheamus would all make their way to the ring as the teams would be addressed by the team captains of Team RAW, RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day. After the team captains don’t show up, Sheamus takes the initiative to tell the Scotland crowd how great Ireland is with Cesaro chiming in that Scotland likes Sheamus about as much as the rest of the world. Sheamus then calls The New Day “unicorn-wearing clowns” before saying that Scotland has a better chance of winning a World Cup than they do of beating Team SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series. Sheamus and Cesaro then argue with each other over who should be the new captain of Team RAW. Enzo & Big Cass then decide to chime in, making fun of Sheamus before Sheamus decides to turn his focus to Gallows & Anderson, reminding Luke Gallows that he lost to Enzo Amore last week. Gallows tells Sheamus, “shut up nerd”, before threatening to turn Cesaro & Sheamus into a “Eurotrash Siamese twin”. Cesaro responds by saying that, if Gallows & Anderson really wanted to insult him, they should have called him the third member of The Club. Cesaro then says that Gallows & Anderson could have had a “field day” insulting Sheamus, saying that they could have called Sheamus “The Red Rooster”! Cesaro then tells Sheamus “shame on you” before Goldust chimes in, but Sheamus cuts Goldust off, saying that he has his career to think about so they can count him out of Survivor Series. Sheamus then tries to leave, but this is when team captains and RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day finally arrive, dressed in their best Braveheart-inspired Scottish garb. Xavier Woods says that, before them is a group of tag teams who will compete valiantly with them for the “love and pride” of Team RAW. This is when Karl Anderson says that he and Luke Gallows are also out because, with team captains like The New Day, they are sure to “lose”. Big E then channels Braveheart, declaring that SmackDown LIVE can take their “lives”, but they will never take their “freedom”! Enzo Amore comments that he doesn’t know what The New Day has been smoking, but he likes it, saying that Team RAW is going to put Team SmackDown LIVE in their place at Survivor Series. Goldust then says that he and R-Truth are with The New Day all the way before Cesaro takes it upon himself to declare that he and Sheamus are also with The New Day. However, Sheamus takes issue with this, saying that Cesaro doesn’t speak for him, claiming that he is the captain before saying that he and Cesaro are in, asking The New Day to “give it a rest” with the Braveheart thing. Xavier Woods then asks Gallows & Anderson if they will fight with them at Survivor Series. Karl Anderson says that no one is in charge of them and the first opportunity they get, they are going to stab each and every one of them in the back. Luke Gallows then says that they will handle Team SmackDown LIVE, saying that Team SmackDown LIVE are just like The New Day, a bunch of “jokes”. Xavier responds by saying that, if they are “jokes” and they have beaten Gallows & Anderson multiple times, then what does that make Gallows & Anderson? Kofi Kingston then says that they knew that Gallows & Anderson would say something like that so that is why they asked for and was granted a special match between The New Day and Gallows & Anderson tonight. Before they, along with Cesaro & Sheamus, Enzo & Big Cass, and The Golden Truth, make up Team RAW at Survivor Series in thirteen nights, RAW Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods in their corner, would face Gallows & Anderson in a non-title match. In the end, it was Gallows & Anderson hitting Big E with the Magic Killer as Luke Gallows pins Big E to pick up the win. Backstage, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho confront Braun Strowman with Owens trying to keep the peace by doing his best to get Braun to get on their side. However, Strowman stands up and tells Owens & Jericho that he’s on “Team Braun”. After R-Truth was conned into giving their spots on Team RAW at Survivor Series away in exchange for a Caribbean time share by The Shining Stars, The Golden Truth would face The Shining Stars on RAW with the winning team being a part of Team RAW at Survivor Series. In the end, it was Primo rolling up Goldust and putting his feet on the middle rope for the illegal advantage to pick up the win for The Shining Stars. As a result, The Shining Stars will replace The Golden Truth on Team RAW for the Traditional 10-on-10 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match at Survivor Series. Michael Cole would then appear in the ring as, with RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte, Bayley, and Nia Jax already announced for Team RAW in the Women’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, Cole would reveal the remaining two members of the RAW Women’s team. Cole would first introduce RAW Women’s Champion and RAW team captain Charlotte, who makes her way to the ring. Cole then introduces the most dominant member of Team RAW, Nia Jax, who makes her way to the ring. Nia Jax tells Charlotte that the champion might be the leader, but she doesn’t work for Charlotte. Cole then introduces the third member of Team RAW as veteran Alicia Fox is revealed for Team RAW. The fourth member of the team is then brought out as Bayley makes her way to the ring to join her teammates. Bayley says that Charlotte thinks that she is a “weak link”, but at Survivor Series, she will prove the RAW Women’s Champion wrong. Michael Cole is then about to introduce the fifth and final member of the team but he’s interrupted by Charlotte, who opts to do the introduction herself. Doing her best to talk over the rowdy Scotland crowd, the displeased RAW Women’s Champion introduces the final member of their team as Charlotte’s protégé Dana Brooke will fill out the team. However, Michael Cole reveals that Dana Brooke is not the fifth member of Team RAW before Cole reveals the actual fifth member of the team to be none other than “The Boss” Sasha Banks! Sasha makes her way to the ring as Charlotte says that, after WWE Hell in a Cell, she didn’t figure that Sasha was even going to be able to be a part of Survivor Series and that’s why she named Dana Brooke as the “alternate” for the team. As the crowd continues to sing, Sasha says that Charlotte knows that she needs “The Boss” on Team RAW. The RAW Women’s Champion then tells Sasha to try and tell Nia Jax that she’s Nia’s “Boss”, leading to a face-off between Sasha and Nia Jax. The women of Team RAW would then face off on RAW as “The Boss” Sasha Banks would team with Bayley and Alicia Fox to face RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte, her protégé Dana Brooke, and Nia Jax in a 6-Woman Tag match. During the match, Charlotte would inadvertently hit her teammate Nia Jax with a big boot, taking Nia out of the ring. Bayley would then hit Charlotte with the Bayley-to-Belly, pinning the RAW Women’s Champion to pick up the win for her team. With the opportunity to face SmackDown LIVE’s Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series on the line, Sami Zayn would go one-on-one with “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev, with Lana in his corner. At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Sami Zayn knocking Rusev off of the top rope with a modified version of the Helluva Kick, pinning “The Bulgarian Brute” to pick up the upset victory! As a result, Sami Zayn will be the one to challenge Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Then it was time for the main event as, before they make up Team RAW at Survivor Series, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, Owens’ best friend Chris Jericho, United States Champion Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Seth Rollins would compete in a Fatal 5-Way Match. Early on in the match, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho would target Seth Rollins on the outside, leaving Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman to stare each other down in the ring. The two powerhouses would then trade blows with Braun Strowman getting the better of the fight. Braun then exits the ring, but walks right into a kendo stick-wielding Seth Rollins as Rollins takes full advantage of the Fatal 5-Way rules, wearing Strowman out with repeated stick shots to the large Superstar. Seth then pulls a table out from under the ring, but Braun knocks Rollins down. Back in the ring, Roman Reigns would try his best to take down Strowman, but Braun grabs the United States Champion by his head, slamming Reigns face-first in the ring. Braun then swats Jericho away before Kevin Owens tries his hand at combatting Strowman, but Braun is able to overpower the WWE Universal Champion. The plan then becomes clear for four of the five competitors in the match as Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, and Roman Reigns would work together to try and topple the giant Braun Strowman. However, the unreal strength of Braun Strowman would see Braun power out before Owens catches Strowman with a super kick. Jericho then hits Braun with a dropkick followed by a flying knee from Seth Rollins and, finally, a Superman Punch from Roman Reigns, finally knocking Strowman off of his feet and out of the ring! Rollins and Reigns then knock Owens & Jericho out of the ring before Rollins and Reigns lock eyes. However, upon spotting Braun Strowman on the ring apron, Reigns would catch Strowman with the Superman Punch before Rollins dives on Braun. Now on the outside, Rollins and Reigns were set to powerbomb Strowman through the table, but Owens & Jericho would intervene. The United States Champion then manages to briefly fight off Owens & Jericho before catching Strowman with the Superman Punch, leaving Braun lying on the table. Owens & Jericho then take it to Roman Reigns, sending Roman into the barricade and into the steel steps. Owens then takes a run at Reigns, hitting the Cannonball on Roman into the barricade. Kevin Owens then looks to do the same to Seth Rollins, but Rollins moves out of the way before taking Kevin Owens out. Seth then grabs Chris Jericho, delivering a powerbomb to Jericho on top of Braun Strowman as both Jericho and Strowman are sent through the table! Back in the ring, Rollins would score with a kick to Owens’ face, but Seth fails to put Owens away. Rollins then climbs to the top rope, but Seth misses the frog splash before Owens goes for the Pop-Up Powerbomb, but Seth counters, hitting the Pedigree on the WWE Universal Champion. However, Chris Jericho saves his best friend by pulling the referee out of the ring and Rollins dives to the outside, taking Jericho down. Back in the ring, Rollins would plant Jericho with the Pedigree before Owens catches Seth with a super kick and Roman Reigns blasts Kevin Owens with the Superman Punch. This results in Kevin Owens landing on Chris Jericho and getting the three-count as Owens inadvertently pins his best friend to win the match! After the match, Kevin Owens would help Chris Jericho to his feet before celebrating his accidental victory as Jericho is left with no idea that he was just pinned by his best friend.
