WWE RAW Results: October 24, 2016By Cassidy| October 25, 2016 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results Before he competes against his best friend WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and Owens’ Hell in a Cell opponent Seth Rollins in a non-title Triple Threat Match later in the night, RAW kicks off with “Y2J” Chris Jericho. A solemn Jericho states that, until further notice, the scheduled Triple Threat Match has been “canceled” before saying that something “horrible” has happened, revealing that someone has “stolen” the List of Jericho! Jericho then says that he is not leaving this ring and he is not having another match until the List of Jericho is returned to him. This brings out Jericho’s best friend, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, who says that he didn’t steal the List of Jericho and he doesn’t “care” about the List of Jericho. The champion then says that he will help Jericho find the list but only after they beat Seth Rollins tonight. However, Jericho argues that he is not going to do anything until the List of Jericho is returned to him, saying that the List of Jericho is his “most prized possession” and he’s written his “deepest, darkest secrets” on the List of Jericho. RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon then makes her way to the ring, assuring Chris Jericho that she is making it her mission to ensure that the List of Jericho is returned to Jericho by the end of the night. Stephanie then tells Jericho to stop being so “ridiculous” but this agitates Jericho, again refusing to compete until he gets his list back. This brings out the #1 Contender for the WWE Universal Title Seth Rollins, who has something behind his back. Playing dumb, Seth initially acts like he doesn’t know anything about the list’s whereabouts despite Jericho pointing out that it’s behind his back. Rollins then reveals that he has the List of Jericho, proclaiming that he “found” it and, much like an elementary school teacher scolding one of her students, Stephanie McMahon orders Seth Rollins to bring the List of Jericho to her right now. Rollins then claims that Stephanie’s name is on the List of Jericho before also saying that Kevin Owens’ name is on the list as well, saying the WWE Universal Champion is on the list as Jericho’s “former best friend”. However, Jericho argues that Owens is an honorable man and the List of Jericho is reserved for people who are “heathens” and “stupid idiots” before saying that he wants the list now. Seth then says that he feels like he needs to make a new list and that list will be dedicated to Kevin Owens, saying that the list will be a list of the body parts that will “never be the same” after this Sunday. Rollins continues, saying that he’s “thrived” inside Hell in a Cell and he’s been “victorious” inside the structure before proclaiming that he is the only one worthy of being called “the man”. Seth then says that there’s a lot of items on his list, but he wants to skip to “Kevin Owens’ ego” before vowing to rip Owens apart, saying that he will “stop at nothing” to take the WWE Universal Title from Owens and burn the entire “establishment” to the ground. Rollins then states that, if they want the List of Jericho back, they better come and get it before exiting to the back with Chris Jericho not far behind. Before Enzo & Big Cass face Gallows & Anderson this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, the two teams would be on RAW as Enzo Amore, with Big Cass in his corner, would go one-on-one with Karl Anderson, with Luke Gallows in his corner. During the match, both Big Cass and Luke Gallows would get on the ring apron as Big Cass distracts the referee to keep the referee from seeing Karl Anderson roll-up Enzo Amore. Then, with the referee’s attention on Gallows, Big Cass would hit Karl Anderson with a big boot with Enzo pinning Anderson to pick up the win. In a pre-taped backstage segment, Rusev would comment on his Hell in a Cell match for the United States Title against Roman Reigns this Sunday night, saying that Roman has done “despicable” things to him and his wife Lana. Rusev then says that, inside Hell in a Cell, he’s going to do “despicable things” to Reigns, saying that Roman is going to “pay the price”. Rusev then says that Hell in a Cell is only as dangerous as your opponent and he is not afraid of Hell in a Cell because he is “not afraid” of Roman Reigns, vowing that Roman will be carried out “crushed” this Sunday. Before they put the RAW Tag Team Titles on the line against the odd couple of Cesaro & Sheamus this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, the RAW Tag Team Champions would be in action on RAW as The New Day’s Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods in their corner, would face Cesaro & Sheamus in a non-title match. At the end of a wild tag match, it was Sheamus blasting Big E with the Brogue Kick, pinning Big E to pick up the win for himself and Cesaro. In a rematch from last week where Dana Brooke picked up the win, Bayley would go one-on-one with Dana Brooke on RAW. However, before the match begins, Dana Brooke reveals that their rematch is going to be an Arm Wrestling Match! With an arm wrestling table being set up in the ring, Dana Brooke would insist that Bayley use the injured right shoulder to arm wrestle Dana with Bayley reluctantly agreeing. With her shoulder at less than 100%, the powerful Dana Brooke was able to easily beat Bayley in the Arm Wrestling Match. Dana then offers to face Bayley again, letting Bayley use her good arm, but just when it looked like Bayley would overpower Dana, Dana would cheap shot Bayley with a right hand before Dana slams the injured arm of Bayley on the arm wrestling table. However, Bayley was able to fight back, managing to hit Dana with the Bayley-to-Belly, leaving Bayley as the one standing tall. Backstage, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon confronts Chris Jericho, who is still frantically searching for the List of Jericho. The Commissioner tells Jericho that she’s got a lot to deal with right now, telling Jericho that he is going to compete in the Triple Threat Match tonight whether Jericho finds the list or not. However, Jericho sticks to his guns, saying that, if the list isn’t returned to him, there won’t be a match tonight or any other night. Fed up with Jericho’s behavior, Stephanie would give Jericho an ultimatum, either Jericho competes in the Triple Threat Match tonight or he will be suspended! After being attacked by his former friend Bo Dallas last week, Curtis Axel would make an appearance on RAW, saying that it’s time to get back down to his “roots”. Axel then says that it’s no secret that his “roots run deep” here in Minnesota. The Minneapolis native then says that, every time he steps into the ring, he carries the “legacy” of his grandfather Larry “The Axe” Hennig and his late, great father “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig. Axel then says that, when Bo Dallas attacked him last week, Bo attacked everything that he stands for and he’s not going to let that happen tonight in his hometown. In his hometown of Minneapolis, Curtis Axel would be looking for some revenge on the man who attacked him last week in former friend Bo Dallas as Axel and Dallas would go one-on-one on RAW. In the end, it was Bo Dallas rolling up Curtis Axel, picking up the win over his former friend in Curtis’ hometown. Backstage, Chris Jericho is informed by an employee that he saw someone with the List of Jericho. The employee then points Jericho in the right direction and “Y2J” sets his sights on Braun Strowman, who is going through the List of Jericho. After making Jericho say “please”, Strowman hands the list over to Jericho and Jericho responds by putting Braun on the List of Jericho. In pre-taped comments from United States Champion Roman Reigns, Roman addresses his WWE Hell in a Cell opponent Rusev, saying that things are going to get “personal” this Sunday inside Hell in a Cell. The champion then says that he takes the United States Title very “personally”, saying that he will see Rusev “in hell”. In tag team action, The Golden Truth, with Mark Henry in their corner, would face The Shining Stars, with Titus O’Neil in their corner, on RAW. During the match, Mark Henry would take Titus O’Neil out on the outside before The Golden Truth hit Primo with an elevated What’s Up double team maneuver with R-Truth pinning Primo for the win. RAW General Manager Mick Foley was then in the ring for the official contract signing for the first ever women’s Hell in a Cell match for the RAW Women’s Championship this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell. The GM first introduces the challenger for the RAW Women’s Title as former champion Charlotte makes her way to the ring before Foley introduces the champion as RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks joins Foley and Charlotte in the ring. Foley then says that Sasha and Charlotte have “shattered” the expectations of women’s wrestling, saying that this is a “new era” in WWE where women can “accomplish anything”. The GM then lets both and the champion and the challenger know that, once they sign the contract, there is “no turning back” as the Hell in a Cell match and everything that goes along with it will happen. The RAW Women’s Champion confidently says that she’s never been “more ready” in her life before Charlotte says that she can’t wait for the RAW Women’s Title to come back to where it belongs. Charlotte then orders Foley to hand her the contract, screaming at the GM. However, Mick Foley isn’t quick to hand over the contract as the GM says that he’s not sure they know what they are in for once they step inside Hell in a Cell. Sasha assures Foley that she has studied every Hell in a Cell match and she knows what she’s getting into. Foley still argues that they have no idea what they are getting into, saying that the Hell in a Cell structure will “haunt their days” and keep them up at night. The impassioned GM continues, saying that the Cell is an opponent within itself before Charlotte says that she has “conquered” everything she has set out to do. Charlotte then says that she was the first woman to put her hands on the RAW Women’s Title and she is the “only reason” that the RAW Women’s Title means anything, saying that she will go to “hell and back” to get the title back. Charlotte then shouts at Sasha that she will “respect” her “queen”. Sasha says that Charlotte may have been the “first” but she is going to go down is the greatest RAW Women’s Champion of “all time”. The champion then says that it doesn’t matter what effect the Hell in a Cell structure will have on her because the only thing that matters is the RAW Women’s Championship. Charlotte responds by calling Sasha “weak” and Sasha says that she has “never stayed down” and she is “not afraid” to step inside Hell in a Cell against Charlotte with Charlotte saying that she’s not afraid either. The crazed Mick Foley says that they should be afraid of Hell in a Cell, saying that the Superstars look at him with a look of “pity” for how he walks and he walks the way he does because it “hurts”. The GM continues, saying that it hurts because he’s got no hip socket and his back is permanently injured, saying that he continues to suffer because of the decisions he made and the things that Hell in a Cell did to him. Foley then says that, when they look at him today, they are looking at their future. Foley then tells Charlotte that he met her when she was a little girl in 1991 and there’s only one thing that he and Charlotte’s father Ric Flair that they can agree on and that is their belief in Charlotte. The GM then tells Sasha that his kids took the signed photograph that they received from the late, great Eddie Guerrero and gave it to Sasha because they knew how much it would mean to Sasha. An emotional Foley then tells Sasha that she is a part of Eddie’s “legacy” and Eddie would be so proud of her. The GM then says that the Women’s Revolution reminded him of what he loves about WWE before telling both Sasha and Charlotte to look him in the eye and tell him that they understand the risk they take by agreeing to compete inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday. Having heard what Mick Foley had to say, Charlotte would sign the contract first, telling Sasha that she will see her in Boston. Sasha then signs the contract as well before telling Charlotte that she will see her “in hell”! Sasha and Charlotte then stare each other down as the two women appear more than ready to put it all on the line in the historic Hell in a Cell match this Sunday. Before he challenges T.J. Perkins for the Cruiserweight Title this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, the #1 Contender for the Cruiserweight Title Brian Kendrick would go one-on-one with Rich Swann on RAW with Cruiserweight Champion T.J. Perkins a guest on commentary. During the match, Brian Kendrick would look for the Captain’s Hook, but Rich Swann would counter, surprising Kendrick with a roll-up to pick up the win over the #1 Contender. After a confrontation between the two of them last week, the dominant Braun Strowman was scheduled to go one-on-one with Sami Zayn on RAW. Before the match begins, Braun Strowman would say that he wants “competition” before looking at Sami Zayn and saying, right now, he doesn’t see any “real competition”. Braun then turns his back and the bold Sami Zayn would attack Braun before Sami lures Braun out of the ring, using his speed to take Strowman off-guard. However, when Sami dives out of the ring, Braun catches Zayn and tosses Sami into the barricade. Braun would then start to walk to the back but Sami Zayn would get back into the ring, clearly ready to continue the fight but Strowman shows no interest in fighting Sami, continuing to walk to the back. Backstage, a downtrodden Brian Kendrick confronts Cruiserweight Champion T.J. Perkins, giving Perkins a sob story about needing to win at WWE Hell in a Cell. The champion tells Kendrick that he needs to go out there and try to win, but Kendrick says that trying isn’t good enough before telling TJP that he needs Perkins to let him win! However, Perkins just picks up his belt and walks away. After Goldberg returned to RAW last week to accept his challenge to a match, “The Beast” would return to his hometown of Minneapolis as, for the first time since SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar, with his advocate Paul Heyman in tow, would make an appearance on RAW to address the comments made by Goldberg. Appearing a bit flustered, Paul Heyman says that the chants for Goldberg are really starting to piss Brock Lesnar off. Heyman says that all of the chants in the world won’t be able to put Goldberg back together again once he is “conquered” by Brock Lesnar. The crowd continues to be split between chants of “Suplex City” and “Goldberg” before Heyman says that it is all Goldberg’s fault that half the crowd in Brock’s hometown is chanting for Goldberg. This leads to the majority of fans chanting “Goldberg sucks” instead before Heyman just tosses the microphone and both Lesnar and Heyman leave the ring. Before Kevin Owens defends the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, the main event would see a non-title Triple Threat Match as WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens would face his WWE Hell in a Cell opponent Seth Rollins and Owens’ best friend Chris Jericho! In the early going of the match, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho would decide to work together to try and take Seth Rollins out, but Seth saw it coming and Rollins would keep Owens out of the ring, isolating Chris Jericho for the time being. Rollins would then take it to the WWE Universal Champion on the outside, sending Owens into the barricade before hammering away at Owens before Jericho intervenes. Seth then dives off of the barricade, taking out the two best friends before rolling Owens back into the ring and tossing Jericho over the barricade. Back in the ring, Owens would take control of the match before going for the Cannonball, but Rollins would move out of the way before hitting his flying knee. Jericho then gets back into the ring as Rollins and Jericho go counter-for-counter before Owens comes back into the ring, saving Jericho from the Pedigree. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho would then work together to wear down Seth Rollins with the champion hitting a senton off of the second rope. On the outside, the best friends would continue to methodically pick apart Rollins before bringing Seth back into the ring. Rollins was eventually able to mount a comeback, taking Jericho down in the ring before diving to the outside, taking out the WWE Universal Champion. Rollins then goes for the frog splash, but Jericho moves out of the way before hitting Seth with the Codebreaker, but Rollins kicks out. With Owens back in the ring, Owens and Jericho would go back to wearing Rollins down, putting Seth on the top rope with the intention of a double superplex. This is when Seth Rollins would do the incredible and unthinkable by powerbombing both men off of the middle rope, managing to roll both Owens and Jericho up at the same time to win the match! After the match, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho would assault Seth Rollins, beating Rollins down before sending Seth face-first into the steel steps. Security and referees then rush out to break up the fight, keeping Owens and Jericho from further injuring Rollins. Kevin Owens then stands on the ramp, holding the WWE Universal Title high before Seth Rollins is able to break away from security, making a beeline for Kevin Owens as the WWE Hell in a Cell opponents continue to brawl, knocking security aside in order to keep fighting. Owens then sends Rollins face-first into the ring post before the WWE Universal Champion decides to try and put the #1 Contender on the shelf by picking Seth Rollins up and powerbombing Seth back-first onto the ring apron! Having left Seth Rollins left in a broken heap at ringside, Kevin Owens grabs his WWE Universal Title belt, holding the title belt high as he surveys the destruction below him.
