Six nights before Payback, the 1196th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the XL Center in Hartford, CT. Last week on RAW, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between champion Roman Reigns and challenger AJ Styles took an interesting new turn as Styles’ good friends Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson would ambush the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, leaving Roman laid out. However, “The Phenomenal One” would tell Roman Reigns to his face that he had nothing to do with the attack by Gallows & Anderson and even Gallows & Anderson have said that AJ had nothing to do with it. Despite this, the champion remains skeptical and, with just six nights left before he puts the title on the line against AJ Styles, Roman Reigns will surely be watching his back for Gallows & Anderson. Speaking of Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, the former IWGP Tag Team Champions would compete in their debut match on RAW as Gallows & Anderson would face Roman Reigns’ cousins and the two men they attacked when they arrived on RAW a couple of weeks ago, The Usos!
