WWE RAW Results: March 28, 2016By Cassidy| March 29, 2016 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results On the final RAW before what could be his last WrestleMania ever, the show kicks off with the man who will face Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania with his future on “The Grandest Stage of Them All” on the line as “The Phenom” The Undertaker makes his way to the ring. Looking up at the WrestleMania sign, The Undertaker emphatically states that this year’s WrestleMania will “not” be his last. The Undertaker then says that he has made it clear to Vince McMahon that the blood of Vince’s son Shane is on Vince’s hands, but the blood of Vince McMahon may very well be on his hands! “The Deadman” continues, saying that he knows that Shane McMahon will fight for his “legacy” to his last breath before saying that WrestleMania is his “yard”. The Undertaker then says that Hell in a Cell is his “house” and, at WrestleMania, Shane McMahon will “rest in peace”. The Undertaker’s address is then interrupted by the arrival of his WrestleMania opponent as, with control of Monday Night RAW awaiting him if he defeats The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday, Shane McMahon comes out to the stage. Shane says that they are both fighting for their own “personal destiny”, but the difference is that he is fighting to “win” while The Undertaker is fighting “not to lose”. Shane continues, saying that The Undertaker may be his father’s “instrument of destruction”, but he is the “instrument of change” in WWE. Shane then says that whatever is left of him after WrestleMania will be in that ring on RAW and they will leave “hell” behind for all of the fans who “deserve better” because he will be in charge of RAW. Shane then says that, if he has to “cement” his legacy by “destroying” The Undertaker’s, then that’s what he has to do. The Undertaker responds by saying “you better watch yourself, rich boy”, saying that Shane doesn’t get to talk about the legacy of The Undertaker. Showing no fear of “The Deadman”, Shane McMahon then walks right down to the ring, getting in the face of his WrestleMania opponent! The fearless Shane McMahon then looks The Undertaker right in the eye as he tells “The Phenom” that, two years ago at WrestleMania, The Undertaker’s legacy “died” when The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak was ended! The Undertaker then says that Shane is just like his “old man”, saying that, from the very day that Shane was born, he’s been his daddy’s “bitch”! This fires Shane McMahon up as the fearless McMahon attacks “The Deadman”, peppering The Undertaker with lefts and rights before The Undertaker gets his hands on Shane, tossing Shane to the outside. “The Phenom” then twice tosses Shane into the barricade before The Undertaker exposes the announce table before continuing his beatdown of his WrestleMania opponent. The Undertaker would then look for the Last Ride through the table, but Shane would narrowly escape, connecting with more lefts and rights before blasting The Undertaker in the face with a television monitor, leaving “The Phenom” laid out on the announce table! Shane then delivers a second shot with the monitor before Shane climbs to the top rope, putting it all on the line as he soars through the air with a hellacious elbow drop to The Undertaker that sends both men crashing through the announce table! As The Undertaker lies motionless, Shane McMahon manages to make it to his feet, walking to the back having made a lasting impression on his WrestleMania opponent. However, back at ringside, The Undertaker sits up before getting back to his feet, glaring at Shane with rage in his eyes and Shane responds by staring right back at “The Phenom”, pointing up at the WrestleMania sign. After turning down AJ Styles’ challenge to a match at WrestleMania, Chris Jericho was in action on RAW as “Y2J” would go one-on-one with one of the seven Superstars who will compete in a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at WrestleMania, Zack Ryder. However, before the match can begin, AJ Styles interrupts as “The Phenomenal One” makes his way to the ring, saying that it’s “ridiculous” that Chris Jericho would rather be left off of the biggest event of the year than face him at WrestleMania. Styles then says that he is not going anywhere until he gets the WrestleMania match that he wants. “The Phenomenal One” then remains at ringside as the match between Chris Jericho and Zack Ryder gets underway. The presence of AJ Styles at ringside would clearly get under the skin of Chris Jericho, especially when Styles starts chanting “Y2-Jackass” at Jericho. This would ultimately cost the six-time former World Champion as Zack Ryder would surprise Jericho with a roll-up to pick up a major upset victory! However, Jericho would quickly lay Ryder out with the Codebreaker before AJ Styles rushes the ring, but Jericho is quick to exit the ring, throwing a fit at ringside. Jericho then grabs a microphone, shouting at the fans to “shut up” before calling AJ Styles a “stupid idiot”. Jericho then tells Styles to be careful what he asks for before agreeing to face “The Phenomenal One” at WrestleMania! “Y2J” then says that this year’s WrestleMania will be his twelfth, saying he has “won championships” and “spilled blood” at WrestleMania, which is something AJ Styles would know nothing about. Jericho then says that this year’s WrestleMania will be AJ Styles’ first WrestleMania and he is going to make sure that it’s his “last”, vowing that this Sunday will be the “worst night” of AJ Styles’ life. Before Charlotte defends the Divas Championship against both Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania this Sunday, Divas Champion Charlotte, with Ric Flair in her corner, would go one-on-one with Becky Lynch, with Sasha Banks seated at ringside, in a non-title match. During the match, Becky would knock Charlotte to the outside where the Divas Champion would have a brief face-off with Sasha Banks before Charlotte spots Becky and decides to run from her opponent. However, this would prove to be a trap set by Charlotte as the Divas Champion would slide back into the ring and, when Becky tries to do the same, Ric Flair grabs Becky’s leg. While Becky would kick “The Nature Boy” away, it would give Charlotte the opening to score with a big boot, following it up with Natural Selection, pinning Becky for the win. In a backstage interview, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon discusses how he’s not surprised at all by his son Shane’s actions earlier in the night, saying that all that Shane has done is “anger” The Undertaker. Vince then says that he wants The Undertaker’s “anger” to come out inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday. Vince is then confronted by his son, Shane, who says that Vince seems to think that he is some sort of “god” and nobody can run WWE except for Vince McMahon. Shane then says, on the stage that Vince created, he is going to take “forty years” of pent-up aggression and he is going to “let it all loose” and he will be controlling Monday Night RAW. Shane then concludes that Vince “stole” the company from his father and, this Sunday, he is “taking” WWE from Vince! Before they are all a part of the third annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal this Sunday at WrestleMania, Social Outcast members Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel, with Heath Slater & Adam Rose in their corner, would have the unenviable task of facing the mammoth team of “The Big Red Machine” Kane and “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show. However, the match doesn’t last long once Heath Slater & Adam Rose get involved, attacking Kane and Big Show. This sparks a brawl between the six men before more Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal participants join in on the fight as Goldust, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Jack Swagger, Darren Young, Damien Sandow, R-Truth, & The Ascension join the fray. Several of the competitors would take the fight to each other on the outside before “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry arrives on the scene as Kane, Big Show, and Mark Henry clear the ring. Kane and Big Show then work together to deliver a double chokeslam to Mark Henry before The Social Outcasts rush the ring again, running right into the grasp of Kane and Big Show, who deliver two double chokeslams to all four members of The Social Outcasts! The two giants are then left standing tall in the ring with neither man taking their eyes off the other. Six nights before he defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania this Sunday, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H would be on RAW with his wife, WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon, by his side. Stephanie tells the fans to “grovel” at the feet of Triple H because that’s how you treat a fourteen-time World Champion. Triple H then says that the world will watch WrestleMania this Sunday and they will be watching for one reason and one reason only and that is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H then says that the championship is the “most important thing in this industry”, saying it’s the “dream” of every competitor in WWE and every fan around the world to be in the grand stage of WrestleMania as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H continues, saying that the fans don’t have the ability to make their dreams a “reality” before saying that Roman Reigns is “so good” that he was able to turn his dreams into a reality by becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H then adds that Roman was the champion for all of “five minutes and fifteen seconds” in his first reign back at Survivor Series. Triple H continues, saying that he will be making his twentieth appearance at WrestleMania this Sunday and, for the ninth time in his career, he will be competing for a World Title on “The Grandest Stage of Them All”, which is more than “any man” in history. The champion then says that he is “obsessed” with being the WWE Champion and he has been since “day one” and his obsession led to him becoming the “most successful Superstar in WWE history” and it led him to being the “greatest WWE Superstar in history”. Triple H then says that he has had a “stranglehold” on WWE and the championship for the last twenty years. Triple H continues, saying that he thought that he was over his obsession and he thought he was ready to put on a suit and assume a corporate role in WWE. That was until, four months ago, when Roman Reigns powerbombed him on the announce table. The champion then says that Reigns “lit the fire” of his obsession once again, saying that he doesn’t know if it’s because he felt “disrespected” or if he thought that people had forgotten who he was, but regardless of the reason, the obsession was back and it wasn’t long before he was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion again. Triple H then says that Reigns has already lost at WrestleMania because Roman reignited his obsession and his obsession will ensure that, no matter what, he will walk out of WrestleMania as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Stephanie then says that WrestleMania is about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and it is about her husband. However, Stephanie is then interrupted by the arrival of the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, Roman Reigns as Roman makes a beeline for the ring and makes a beeline for Triple H. As soon as Roman enters the ring, however, Triple H is already on Reigns, but the #1 Contender would get to his feet and the champion and challenger would trade blows before Triple H makes a quick retreat from the ring as Stephanie keeps Roman at bay. Stephanie then leaves the ring, grabbing his husband’s title belt as The Authority regroups on the stage before heading to the back, leaving Roman standing tall. With a 4-on-3 Match against The League of Nations awaiting them at WrestleMania this Sunday, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day were on RAW as Kofi Kingston, with Big E & Xavier Woods in his corner, would go one-on-one with League of Nations member Alberto Del Rio, with Sheamus, Rusev, & King Barrett in their corner. In the end, it was Kofi Kingston countering the Cross Armbreaker into a roll-up, securing the three-count to pick up the win. The League of Nations would then storm the ring, but Kofi was quick to escape as The New Day regroup on the stage. This is when a very special guest would join the WWE Tag Team Champions on the stage as former WWE employee turned ESPN interviewer Jonathan Coachman returns to RAW! “The Coach” says that The New Day are his favorite guests on SportsCenter before saying that it’s official that SportsCenter will be live at WrestleMania this Sunday. Coachman then proclaims his love for “Booty-O’s” before dancing with The New Day. Backstage, Roman Reigns is about to be interviewed by Renee Young when Bubba Ray Dudley starts shouting at Reigns, daring Roman to finish what they started on SmackDown. Roman then makes his way over to get in the face of Bubba Ray, but it isn’t long before Bubba Ray is joined by his tag team partner D-Von. Despite the odds, Roman Reigns would still fire the first shot against The Dudley Boyz before the plan would come together once Triple H attacks Reigns from behind! Together, Triple H and The Dudley Boyz would put the boots to the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Dudley Boyz then hold Roman up as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion drills Reigns with right hands before Bubba Ray tosses Roman face-first into a nearby pillar. The Dudley Boyz then exit, leaving Triple H alone with Roman Reigns as “The Game” grabs the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt, holding it in Roman’s face and saying that he will never get the title back. The champion then smashes Roman’s surgically repaired face right onto the title belt, leaving Roman laying on the concrete floor, holding his nose as Triple H grabs the title belt and walks away. Before he defends the United States Championship against Ryback this Sunday on the WrestleMania Kickoff show, United States Champion Kalisto would face one-half of The Ascension in Konnor, with Viktor in his corner, in a non-title match. After taking out Viktor, Kalisto would hit the Salida del Sol, pinning Konnor for the win. After the match, Viktor would try to blindside Kalisto, but the United States Champion would get the better of the situation, sending Viktor out of the ring. Kalisto’s WrestleMania opponent Ryback would then make his way to the ring as “The Big Guy” gets in the face of the United States Champion, chanting “feed me more” at Kalisto before exiting the ring. Six nights before he goes one-on-one with Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred Street Fight at WrestleMania, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar would make his way to the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman in tow. Paul Heyman says that, this Sunday at WrestleMania, the fans have the rare opportunity to see a “once ever athlete” at his “peak” perform at a level that no one in the locker room can hope to achieve. Heyman then says that, in every equation, there’s that one “lunatic” who believes that he has what it takes to take it to Brock Lesnar and be the “one” to conquer the “one” in 22-1 and that lunatic is Dean Ambrose. Heyman continues, saying that Ambrose is smarter than anyone thinks, saying that Ambrose thinks that he is going to take Brock out of his element at WrestleMania. Heyman then says that Ambrose has to step into the ring and face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, saying that Lesnar will give Ambrose the “WrestleMania moment of a lifetime” when “The Beast” takes every one of the weapons that will be legal in the No Holds Barred Street Fight and performs a “colonoscopy” on Dean Ambrose with them in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania! Heyman then begins to proclaim victory for his client, but he is interrupted by the arrival of Dean Ambrose, who makes his way to ringside, pulling an empty wagon behind him. Paying no attention to Brock Lesnar, Ambrose pulls a crowbar, steel pipes, the special barbed wire baseball bat from Mick Foley, a fire extinguisher, the chainsaw from Terry Funk, and nunchuks from under the ring, putting these items in the wagon. “The Lunatic Fringe” then puts the steel steps in the wagon as well before walking off with his wagon full of weapons, leaving an amused Brock Lesnar in the ring with Ambrose having paid no attention to his WrestleMania opponent. Before they square off with the team of Emma, Lana, Naomi, Tamina, & Summer Rae, who refer to themselves as “B.A.D. & Blonde”, along with a mystery partner in a 10-Diva Tag Match on the WrestleMania Kickoff show, the team of Paige, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, & Natalya, who call themselves “The Total Divas”, were on RAW as Paige would go one-on-one with Emma with their team’s respective members in their corners. During the match, the other members of B.A.D. & Blonde and The Total Divas would get into an argument on the outside, which draws the attention of the referee long enough for Lana to hit a spinning heel kick on Paige, allowing Emma to pin Paige for the win. After the match, an all-out brawl would break out between the two teams with Lana mostly watching the fights around her. Then, much to the chagrin of the fans, Eva Marie would arrive as Eva would make a beeline to the ring, attacking Lana, who quickly exits the ring. Eva Marie then celebrates, but she appears to be alone as Paige, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, & Natalya appear to want no part of Eva Marie being on their team, but would reluctantly stand alongside Eva. Six nights before they, along with Zack Ryder, compete in a seven-man Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship, Sami Zayn would join forces with Dolph Ziggler and Sin Cara to face the team of Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, Stardust, & The Miz in a 6-Man Tag match. At the end of a chaotic match, Kevin Owens would spot a weakened Sami Zayn and would decide to tag himself into the match. However, Sami Zayn would counter Owens’ attempt at the Pop-Up Powerbomb and the Intercontinental Champion was quick to try and tag out of the match. However, Kevin Owens’ past trouble with tag team partners would come back to haunt him as both The Miz and Stardust would refuse to tag into the match, abandoning Owens and leaving the Intercontinental Champion all alone against Sami Zayn! It wasn’t long before Sami Zayn blasts Kevin Owens with the Helluva Kick, pinning Kevin Owens to pick up the win for his team. After their address earlier in the night was interrupted by Roman Reigns, The Authority would come back out to the ring to finish what they had to say as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H and WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring. Stephanie says that “reality” is going to slap Roman Reigns hard in the face after WrestleMania this Sunday, saying that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is not going anywhere and neither are they. Triple H then says that they can take their “morality” and “shove it” before the champion is again interrupted by Roman Reigns. Limping down the ramp due to the attack by Triple H earlier in the night, Roman would be met on the ramp by Triple H as champion and challenger trade blows. The champion would send Roman Reigns face-first into the steel ring post before Reigns battles back, tossing Triple H into the barricade before delivering a clothesline that sends both men over the barricade. Meanwhile, in the ring, Stephanie is calling for backup as The League of Nations, Stardust, The Miz, & The Dudley Boyz come out to pull Roman Reigns off of Triple H. This gives the champion the opportunity to get the better of the fight as Triple H pummels Reigns with lefts and rights. All hell then breaks loose once The Usos, The New Day, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, & Mark Henry all come out as the slew of Superstars struggle to keep Triple H and Roman Reigns separated. However, as Roman Reigns focuses on trying to get past the sea of Superstars, Triple H escapes into the ring and, as Roman and The Usos enter the ring, The Dudley Boyz are quick to pull the champion to safety. With the majority of Superstars standing guard between the two men on the outside of the ring, The Usos would try and keep Roman calm in the ring as Triple H regroups with his wife on the stage. However, the champion would try to charge towards the ring again, but is kept back by the Superstars. This is when Roman Reigns would channel his cousins The Usos as the #1 Contender would dive over the top rope into the sea of humanity, taking out nearly every Superstar, including Triple H. The champion then crawls away from Roman Reigns, rejoining his wife on the stage, holding up the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt as Roman Reigns stands tall in the ring, ready to go to war with Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.
