WWE: Five NXT Superstars released from WWEBy Cassidy| February 6, 2016 Wrestling News ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that WWE has come to terms on the release of five NXT competitors as Bull Dempsey (James Smith), Sylvester Lefort (Tom La Ruffa), Marcus Louis (Pierre Marceau), Peter Howard, & Magno (Oscar Vasquez) have all been let go from the company. Bull Dempsey has been with the company since June 2013, making his debut in September of that year. Dempsey’s most notable feud in NXT was with Baron Corbin with both stars competing to see who was the more dominant competitor with Corbin coming out on top. Bull would debut a new “Bull-Fit” gimmick in August of last year before his release on Friday. Sylvester Lefort also signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2013 and was most notably part of a tag team with Marcus Louis as the team feuded with Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady in 2015 before the team was broken up. In November, Lefort started making appearances at NXT Live Events as the manager of Billie Kay. As for Peter Howard and Magno, neither competitor had made their NXT debut prior to their release.
