WWE RAW Results: December 21, 2015By Cassidy| December 22, 2015 WWE Raw Family Matters. The 1178th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. On a special night in WWE, the best of the best would be recognized on RAW as the Target Center would be home to the 2015 Slammy Awards as WWE fans around the world would vote for such categories as Superstar of the Year, Diva of the Year, Match of the Year, Breakout Star of the Year, Extreme Moment of the Year, & The Hero in All of Us Award. With every WWE Superstar eligible to win Superstar of the Year for the first time ever, it’s anyone’s ball game on RAW as the fans decide who was the most accomplished and most memorable competitor of 2015. One Superstar who has to be considered a favorite for Superstar of the Year is Roman Reigns, who has had a rollercoaster ride of a year that saw “The Big Dog” win the Royal Rumble, face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, and win the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series. However, all of those moments were tainted in one way or another as The Authority often made it their business to keep Reigns away from the top prize in WWE. That was until last week’s RAW where Roman Reigns would come face-to-face with WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, insulting the owner of the company and finding himself in an all-or-nothing match against Sheamus where Roman would challenge “The Celtic Warrior” for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event and, if Roman lost, he would be fired! Despite interference from The League of Nations and Mr. McMahon himself, Roman Reigns would overcome insurmountable odds, even dropping the seventy-year old Chairman with the Superman Punch, before pinning Sheamus to become the brand new WWE World Heavyweight Champion! However, after assaulting WWE COO Triple H at WWE TLC and WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon on last week’s RAW, one has to believe that Roman Reigns’ time on top will be brief if The Authority has anything to say about it. What repercussions will await the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion on RAW? Will Roman Reigns even make it to 2016 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, let alone a WWE employee?
