WWE RAW Results: December 14, 2015By Cassidy| December 15, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results After having to witness the destruction of her husband, Triple H, at the hands of Roman Reigns at WWE TLC, RAW kicks off with WWE Principal Owner and one-half of The Authority Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says that, take away her “money” and “education”, she is just like all of them, saying that she is a wife and a mother. Stephanie then says that it’s clear to her that the fans want her to be “vindictive” and “ruthless” and, if that’s what they want, that is what they are going to get. Stephanie continues, saying that Roman Reigns not only attacked her husband, but the COO of WWE and Roman’s boss. However, before Stephanie can hand down the punishment for Roman’s action, the Principal Owner is interrupted by the man himself as Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring to come face-to-face with a seething Stephanie McMahon. Roman says that he’s a father too and today is his daughter’s birthday before saying in no uncertain terms that he feels no remorse for his assault on Triple H. Stephanie responds by saying that Roman better have something “sharp” to say, telling Roman to “bring it”. However, Reigns does not flinch, telling Stephanie that he’s short on time, so if she is going to fire him, then fire him. Stephanie calls Roman a “coward” before saying that Reigns has blamed everyone but himself for not being able to hang onto the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, calling Roman a “failure” and a “disgrace”. Roman responds by calling Stephanie, her husband, and the entire McMahon family a “disgrace” and Stephanie responds with repeated slaps to the face of “The Big Dog”! Stephanie then reveals that she’s not going to fire Roman Reigns because her husband, Triple H, asked her not to before dropping the bombshell that there is someone on the way to the arena who just might, revealing that none other than the Chairman of WWE Mr. McMahon is on his way! Stephanie then storms out of the ring, leaving Roman Reigns with a lot to think about as Reigns would have to contend with the owner of the company. One night after besting Kevin Owens at WWE TLC to become the brand new Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose would go one-on-one with “The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match on RAW. During an incredible match, it was the livid former champion who would ruin the bout as Kevin Owens would march down to the ring, tossing Dolph Ziggler out of the ring before targeting the new Intercontinental Champion, pummeling Dean Ambrose before delivering the Pop-Up Powerbomb to “The Lunatic Fringe”. Owens then exits the ring, grabbing the Intercontinental Title belt and coming back into the ring, where Owens would hit a second Pop-Up Powerbomb to Ambrose! Dolph Ziggler then comes back into the ring, attacking Kevin Owens, but a well-placed kick to Dolph’s knee would halt the onslaught before Owens picks Ziggler up, slamming Dolph down with a powerbomb right on top of Ambrose! R-Truth would go one-on-one with Bo Dallas on RAW, but the bigger story would be what was taking place in the parking lot as, with Stephanie McMahon anxiously awaiting her father’s arrival, a long black limousine would pull into the arena and WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon would step out! Stephanie was then ready to walk with her father to handle the business at hand, but Mr. McMahon tells his daughter to go back to Connecticut and tend to Triple H, assuring Stephanie that he’s got things under control. This brings a brief standstill to the action in the ring before the match between R-Truth and Bo Dallas resumes. However, with the match still in progress, the action would again stop in the ring upon the arrival of Mr. McMahon as the WWE Chairman would march to the ring with a purpose as a stunned R-Truth and Bo Dallas look on. The boss immediately reminds everyone who’s in charge, declaring that the match is over and telling R-Truth, Bo Dallas, and the referee to get out of his ring with the three men quick to obey. Mr. McMahon says that there is a Superstar in the back who is “sweating profusely” over having to come face-to-face with the Chairman in the ring. The Chairman then exits the ring, taking a seat at ringside and saying that he’s going to make Roman Reigns “sweat” a little more. After a few minutes in his seat at ringside, Mr. McMahon would get back into the ring, telling Roman Reigns to get out there and take his “medicine”, ordering Roman out to the ring. Reigns would then cautiously makes his way to the ring, coming face-to-face with the Chairman before Mr. McMahon says that he has a certain “presence” about him that he can’t help. McMahon says that Roman is standing there in front of him while his son-in-law is back in Connecticut “suffering” before McMahon orders Reigns to get on his hands and knees and “apologize”! The Chairman then says that there was a time where he would “beat an apology” out of Roman Reigns and, when Roman smirks at McMahon, the bold owner takes that as a challenge, removing his suit jacket and loosening his tie! However, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus interrupts the proceedings, coming out to the stage. Sheamus says that it’s not that he doesn’t think that McMahon can take Roman Reigns, but he wants to be the one to “beat an apology” out of Reigns. The champion then says that you should “never” disrespect the McMahon family before saying that, on behalf of McMahon’s Irish coat of arms, the Chairman should let him face Roman Reigns tonight. Sheamus continues, saying that he’s beaten Roman Reigns before and he can do it again, saying that he can beat Roman Reigns “anytime” and “anywhere” before saying that he is so confident, he will even put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line! Mr. McMahon responds by saying that there’s “no chance in hell” of their being a WWE World Heavyweight Title match tonight. Roman then snatches the microphone out of the Chairman’s hand, asking for a reason against the title match and calling the owner “old man”, challenging the size of McMahon’s “grapefruits”. Reigns then tells McMahon that he is seventy years old and “time” is passing him by! The proud Chairman then takes the microphone back, granting Reigns the championship match with the stipulation that, if Roman doesn’t win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight, then he’s fired! McMahon then extends his hand to Roman Reigns, but cheap shots Roman with a kick below the belt, bringing Reigns to his knees! The Chairman then exits the ring, greeting Sheamus on his way to the back as an angry Roman gets back to his feet in the ring. In a tag team collision of WWE TLC opponents, League of Nations representatives United States Champion Alberto Del Rio and “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev, with Lana in their corner, would face “The Real American” Jack Swagger and “The Big Guy” Ryback. In the end, it was a distraction from Lana that would allow the double team from Rusev & Alberto Del Rio as Del Rio would catch Jack Swagger with a kick to the face followed by a super kick from Rusev, who pins Swagger for the win. “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville was set to go one-on-one with “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze, with Summer Rae in his corner, on RAW before The Miz makes his way to ringside, demanding the attention of the crowd before letting the match begin. Throughout the match, The Miz would shout instructions at Neville, even providing a distraction that would open the door for Neville to capitalize, hitting the Red Arrow and pinning Tyler Breeze for the win. Backstage, The Miz insists that Neville let him help the high flyer become a star in Hollywood before The Miz finally reveals what’s in it for him. The Miz tells Neville that he needs Neville to teach him his accent, saying that he will help Neville become a star if Neville helps him learn Neville’s accent. Neville responds by saying that, if The Miz ever tries what he pulled out there again, he will stick a light saber where the “sun don’t shine”. Then it was time for a hardcore war in the birthplace of extreme as ECW Originals The Dudley Boyz, Tommy Dreamer, & Rhyno would face The Wyatt Family in an 8-Man Extreme Rules Tag Match, where anything goes with no disqualifications and no count-outs with the match only ending by pinfall or submission in the ring! It would not take long for the chaos to ensue as all eight men would swing kendo sticks, crutches, trash cans, steel chairs, and anything else they could get their hands on. The ECW Originals would seemingly take control of the match with The Dudley Boyz getting the better of Erick Rowan, but Luke Harper would intervene, taking out Bubba Ray and D-Von. Tommy Dreamer would then run interference long enough for Bubba Ray to get to his feet and Bubba would look for a superplex to Luke Harper, but Erick Rowan would get under Bubba, powerbombing Bubba who suplexes Harper right onto a steel chair! Later on in the match, the battle would spill to the outside where Braun Strowman would charge at D-Von, but the mastodon would miss the mark and Strowman would go diving over the announce table! Meanwhile, up on the stage, Luke Harper was set to powerbomb Tommy Dreamer off of the stage, but “The Innovator of Violence” would fight out, sacrificing himself to drop Harper off of the stage with a Dreamer Driver through two tables! Bubba Ray and Bray Wyatt would then battle in the crowd before Braun Strowman re-enters the fray, allowing Bray and Braun to beat Bubba down until Tommy Dreamer makes the save with a kendo stick. However, Dreamer’s plan would backfire as Strowman would absorb the kendo stick shots before lifting Dreamer up and charging full force, smashing Dreamer right through the barricade at ringside! Bubba Ray and Bray then bring the fight back to ringside before Luke Harper and Erick Rowan get involved, using a crutch and a kendo stick to take Bubba out. Rowan would then use a steel chair on Rhyno on the outside while Luke Harper grabs a kendo stick, delivering a shot to D-Von and to Bubba Ray, but when Harper throws the stick away, Bubba catches it, wailing away at Harper. Harper would take the abuse before fighting back, sending Bubba Ray out of the ring before setting a table up in the ring for D-Von, but it was the big man who would taste the table as Bubba Ray re-enters the fray, joining D-Von to put Harper through the table with the 3-D! D-Von then goes for the cover on Harper, but Bray Wyatt pulls D-Von out of the ring, taking D-Von out with Sister Abigail on the arena floor! Erick Rowan then comes back into the ring, knocking Bubba out of the ring with a spinning heel kick. Rhyno then goes for the Gore on Rowan, but Rowan catches Rhyno with a kick to the face followed up with Sister Abigail from Bray Wyatt. With Bray calling the shots, Rowan would set up a table, putting Rhyno on the table before Rowan comes off of the top rope with a big splash to Rhyno through the table, pinning Rhyno to pick up the win for The Wyatt Family! With broken tables, broken weapons, and broken bodies in and out of the ring, The Wyatt Family was the family left standing tall. After surviving an awe-inspiring Triple Threat Ladder Match to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles, the WWE Tag Team Champions were on RAW as The New Day makes their way to the ring. Xavier Woods says that they don’t feel like “partying” before the trio walks the crowd through some of the big spots in the Ladder Match before admitting that they are beat up after WWE TLC. Big E then says that a match like that will change a person’s “perspective” before The New Day actually asks one of the teams they contended with at WWE TLC, The Usos, to come to the ring. Suspicious of The New Day’s motives, The Usos would make their way to the ring as The New Day says that they are not out there to fight. Xavier then says that, after WWE TLC, The Usos have earned their “respect” before The New Day asks The Lucha Dragons to come out to the ring as well. Much like The Usos, The Lucha Dragons are suspicious of The New Day’s motives, but make their way to the ring anyways. Kofi Kingston commends The Lucha Dragons on an impressive performance, but the masked team brings up Xavier throwing his trombone at Kalisto’s back. Xavier then apologizes for throwing the trombone, but The Usos and The Lucha Dragons are still skeptical about The New Day’s new attitude. Xavier Woods then says that all seven of them took the tag team division to the “next level”, saying that they did not do the match for themselves, they did it for the fans. Xavier continues, saying that, with their newfound respect for them, they would like to extend this. With that, the WWE Tag Team Champions extend their hands for a handshake and, though hesitant, The Usos and The Lucha Dragons shake The New Day’s hands! The two teams then exit the ring before The New Day revert back to their old ways with a bizarre and over-the-top celebration of their WWE TLC victory. This brings The Usos and The Lucha Dragons back to the ring as Kalisto hits Xavier Woods with the Salida del Sol, Sin Cara hits Xavier with the Swanton, and one of The Usos hits Big E with the Superfly Splash! The Usos and The Lucha Dragons then stand tall in the ring as The New Day tries to regroup on the outside. After using her father’s dirty tactics and “The Nature Boy” himself to retain the Divas Championship against Paige at WWE TLC, Divas Champion Charlotte would have her Hall of Fame father Ric Flair in her corner as the champion would team with her best friend Becky Lynch to face Brie Bella & Alicia Fox on RAW with Team B.A.D. in the front row at ringside. In the end, it was Ric Flair tripping Alicia Fox behind the back of Becky Lynch and Becky would lock in the Dis-Arm-Her, making Alicia tap out to pick up the win for herself and Charlotte. Then it was time for a huge RAW main event as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would be on the line as Sheamus would defend WWE’s top prize against Roman Reigns with the stipulation that, if Roman Reigns loses, he will be fired by Mr. McMahon with the Chairman himself seated at ringside! With his livelihood on the line, Roman Reigns would refuse to stay down, even surviving a modified version of the Cloverleaf before scoring with the Superman Punch, but when Roman goes for the pin, Mr. McMahon pulls the referee out of the ring! The Chairman then detains the referee at ringside, distracting Roman long enough for Sheamus to take advantage as the champion hits White Noise on Reigns, but despite Mr. McMahon’s assumptions that the match was over, Roman would kick out! McMahon then calls the referee over for a discussion as Sheamus pushes Reigns out of the ring and, with McMahon keeping the attention of the referee, The League of Nations would get involved. While Roman was able to catch Alberto Del Rio with the Superman Punch, Rusev would blast Reigns with a kick to the head before Rusev rolls Reigns back into the ring. Somehow, Reigns was still able to fight back as Roman would knock Rusev off of the ring apron with the Superman Punch before avoiding the Brogue Kick from Sheamus and scoring with another Superman Punch to the champion! Roman then spots Mr. McMahon on the ring apron as the Chairman is still detaining the referee as Reigns blasts the seventy-year old Chairman with the Superman Punch, laying Mr. McMahon out before Roman is laid out with the Brogue Kick by Sheamus, but Reigns kicks out again! Sheamus then sets up for a second Brogue Kick, but when he charges at Reigns, Roman catches Sheamus with the Spear before Roman covers Sheamus and, one career-altering three-count later, Roman Reigns is the brand new WWE World Heavyweight Champion! As Sheamus lies at his feet and Mr. McMahon lays on the ring apron, Roman Reigns holds the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt high, having overcome insurmountable odds to reign supreme as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
