WWE SmackDown Results: November 5, 2015By Cassidy| November 6, 2015 WWE SmackDown Previous Page Detailed Results SmackDown kicks off with the self-proclaimed “MexAmerican Champion” as United States Champion Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter come out to the stage as Zeb Colter says that “haters” are not allowed in their nation of MexAmerica. Del Rio then says that, if they are going to become “one great nation” under the banner of MexAmerica, they do not need “borders” in their lives. Colter then says that they should prepare for the “reconciliation” and the people who deny their hate are “liars” before Del Rio concludes with “viva MexAmerica”. The United States Champion was also in action on SmackDown as the “MexAmerican Champion” Alberto Del Rio, with Zeb Colter in his corner, would go one-on-one with “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville in a non-title match. In the end, it was Alberto Del Rio delivering the vicious double stomp off of the top rope to the chest of Neville, pinning the high flyer to pick up the win. However, the United States Champion was not through with Neville as Del Rio delivers a kick to the face of Neville before locking the high flyer in the cross armbreaker, refusing to break the hold. This would bring out Jack Swagger as “The Real American” makes the save, leading to a face-off between Del Rio and Swagger with the United States Champion opting to back off as Swagger checks on Neville. After their surprise return to action in the main event of RAW, The Usos would make their return to SmackDown as Jimmy & Jey would face The Ascension. In the end, it was Jey Uso scoring with the Superfly Splash, pinning Viktor to pick up the win for The Usos. After Bray Wyatt revealed his mysterious new powers that he forcefully inherited from The Undertaker and Kane, The Wyatt Family would be in action on SmackDown as Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman would face The Lucha Dragons and The Prime Time Players in a Traditional 4-on-4 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. The first elimination would come at the hands of Braun Strowman, who locks Darren Young in his vile triangle choke submission, tossing a near motionless Young to the floor as Young is counted out, giving The Wyatt Family the one man advantage. The next elimination would see Luke Harper connect with the Discus Clothesline, pinning and eliminating Sin Cara, leaving Kalisto and Titus O’Neil to combat all four members of The Wyatt Family. While Kalisto would do his best to fight The Wyatt Family, Erick Rowan would put an end to the comeback with a full nelson slam, pinning and eliminating Kalisto as only Titus O’Neil remained against the entire Wyatt Family. After Titus O’Neil was choked out by Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt would hit Sister Abigail, pinning and eliminating Titus O’Neil as The Wyatt Family makes a clean sweep of their opponents with all four members of The Wyatt Family remaining in the end. Ryback was in action on SmackDown as “The Big Guy” would go one-on-one with King Barrett. In the end, it was Ryback planting King Barrett with Shell Shocked, pinning Barrett for the win. With Natalya challenging the “leader” of Team B.A.D. to a one-on-one match on SmackDown, Team B.A.D. would make their way to the ring. Natalya’s plan to drive a wedge in Team B.A.D. appeared to work as both Naomi and Sasha Banks would get on the ring apron, ready to battle Natalya, which led to an argument between Naomi and Sasha. Tamina then takes control of the situation, getting on the ring apron, telling Naomi & Sasha that she’s got it under control before entering the ring as Naomi & Sasha back off with smiles on their faces, seemingly accepting that the silent enforcer is the leader of Team B.A.D. During the match, Natalya looked poised for victory, but a distraction from Sasha Banks would allow Tamina to take advantage as Tamina hits a Samoan Drop on Natalya. However, when Tamina tries to come off of the top rope, Natalya gets her feet up before rolling Tamina up to pick up the win, quickly exiting the ring, leaving an angry Team B.A.D. in the ring. Then it was time for the main event as “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose would go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens in a non-title match. During the match, Dean Ambrose would deliver a kick to Kevin Owens before going for Dirty Deeds, but Owens would collapse in the ring, claiming to the referee that Ambrose had kicked him below the belt! This would lead to the referee disqualifying Ambrose, apparently believing that Owens was the victim of a low blow, though a replay after the match would reveal that the low blow was a hoax; that Ambrose kicked Owens in the mid-section! Amidst an argument between Owens and the referee, Ambrose would dive to the outside, taking out the Intercontinental Champion. Owens is then quick to retreat through the crowd, leaving an angry and disappointed Dean Ambrose in the ring. What did you think of this week’s SmackDown? Post your comments in the box below.
