WWE RAW Results: November 2, 2015By Cassidy| November 3, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results After a banner week last week that saw him not only defeat Bray Wyatt inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Hell in a Cell, but defeat Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, & Alberto Del Rio in a Fatal 4-Way Match the next night on RAW to become the new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, this week’s RAW would kick off with Roman Reigns. The #1 Contender says that he is proud to be in Denver and he is proud to be the new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before commenting on reigning champion Seth Rollins, saying that Rollins is good in the ring, but he is also good at a couple of other things. Roman then says that the champion is good at “brown nosing” and good at “kissing The Authority’s ass”, saying that he doesn’t like “weasels”. Reigns continues, saying that Rollins’ luck is running out because there is not a “force on Earth” that can stop him from beating Rollins and becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, telling everyone to “believe that”. This brings WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins out to the stage as Rollins laughs at the notion of Roman Reigns being able to do what so many others have been unable to do by beating him for the title. The champion then says that he would not have recruited Roman for The Shield if he didn’t think he was good before reminding Reigns that he cashed in his Money-in-the-Bank contract at WrestleMania and pinned Reigns to become champion. Rollins continues, saying that Roman is always going to be “second best” and the fans will only ever remember Roman as the guy who use to carry Rollins’ bags. The #1 Contender then dares the champion to come to the ring and fight him and, though hesitant, Rollins starts to make his way toward the ring before The Authority comes out as Stephanie McMahon asks the crowd how many of them want to see Reigns face Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Naturally, it turns out to be a joke by The Authority as Stephanie says that the title match will take place, just not tonight before Triple H & Stephanie laugh at the disappointed crowd. Stephanie then reveals that the title match will take place in just under three weeks at Survivor Series. Triple H then announces that tonight will see a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will captain a team of four hand-picked Superstars to face Roman Reigns and his four hand-picked Superstars! Triple H then adds that Roman Reigns’ “survival depends on it”. The opening match of the night would see the Intercontinental Champion in action as Kevin Owens would face Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. During the match, Kevin Owens would target the injured knee of Dolph Ziggler, but the gutsy Dolph would manage to fight back, sending the Intercontinental Champion out of the ring. However, just when it looked like “The Show Off” would get a moment to collect himself, Tyler Breeze would come out with Summer Rae in tow, distracting Dolph and allowing Kevin Owens to take advantage before “Prince Pretty” and Summer take a seat in their VIP area at ringside. Later on in the match, Tyler Breeze would try to position himself for a selfie at ringside and Dolph would try to grab “Prince Pretty”, but Ziggler would make the mistake of turning his back on Kevin Owens and, when Dolph turned back around, Owens was waiting with the Pop-Up Powerbomb, pinning Ziggler for the win. After the match, Tyler Breeze would enter the ring, posing for a selfie next to the downed Dolph Ziggler and, while Ziggler would get a shot in on Breeze “Prince Pretty” would quickly retaliate with the Beauty Shot, again leaving Dolph laid out in the ring. Backstage, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins confronts Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens with a proposition for Owens, offering to put his title on the line against Owens at WrestleMania next year before asking the Intercontinental Champion to be on Team Rollins tonight. Owens then agrees to be on Rollins’ team before saying that Rollins “owes” him one. “The Swiss Superman” was in action on RAW as Cesaro would go one-on-one with The Miz with Stardust & The Ascension again in the crowd holding up a “Stardust Section” sign. In the end, it was Cesaro dizzying The Miz with the Cesaro Swing before locking in the Sharpshooter, making “The A-Lister” tap out to pick up the win. After abducting both The Undertaker and Kane last week and claiming to be feasting on their souls, The Wyatt Family would be on RAW as Bray Wyatt would lead Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman to the ring. As his monsters stand behind him, Bray Wyatt says that everyone in the arena and everyone watching around the world is about to witness something “special”. Bray then says that they have seen The Wyatt Family carry out the “rotting carcass” of The Undertaker and the “scorched body” of Kane. Wyatt continues, saying that, after a while, a body is “completely useless” while a “soul lives forever” unless that soul is “consumed by a higher power”. Bray then claims that he is that “higher power” before saying that they have “successfully harvested the souls” of The Undertaker and Demon Kane, saying that their power now surges through him. Bray then proclaims that he “summons the thunder” and he “summons the lightning”, showing his unusual new powers by making the arena lights flash and making lightning strike the ring posts, erupting them in flames. Bray then says that he summons the “forces of darkness” because he is “The Eater of Worlds”, saying that it is within his power to take the world and “burn it straight to hell”, getting down on one knee and making pyro erupt from the staging area. A video package is then shown on the Tron of The Undertaker and Kane’s paths of destruction throughout their careers, both individually and as a team before the video warps away and Bray is left kneeling in the ring, screaming “follow the buzzards”. Two of WWE’s top tag teams would square off on RAW as The Lucha Dragons would face King Barrett & “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Sheamus. In the end, it was Kalisto countering King Barrett’s Royal Bull Hammer, hitting the Salida del Sol and pinning Barrett to pick up a huge win for The Lucha Dragons. Backstage, Zeb Colter is confronted by a former client of his, Jack Swagger, who says that he doesn’t believe for a second that Zeb Colter and Alberto Del Rio are on the same page, trying to form their own “MexAmerica” nation. This brings in Del Rio as the United States Champion tells Swagger to “stay away” from Zeb and stay away from their business. Swagger says that he is trying to figure out what is going on with Zeb saying that they are trying to unite two great countries before Del Rio and Colter exit. The self-proclaimed “MexAmerican Champion” was in action on RAW as United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, with Zeb Colter in his corner, would go one-on-one with R-Truth in a rematch from SmackDown. In the end, the result was the same as Alberto Del Rio would deliver a double stomp off of the top rope, pinning R-Truth to pick up the win. Backstage, WWE Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston confront WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, offering to be on Team Rollins in the main event and, while visibly annoyed by the antics, Rollins agrees to let The New Day be on his team. Big E & Kofi then reveal that Xavier Woods is back as Xavier comes in playing his trumpet as, with the inclusion of The New Day, Team Rollins is now complete. A new #1 Contender for the Divas Championship would be determined on RAW as Paige, Brie Bella, Becky Lynch, & Sasha Banks would square off in a Fatal 4-Way Match with the winner earning a title match against reigning champion Charlotte in three weeks at Survivor Series. At the end of a wild, show-stealing match, it looked like Sasha Banks would be heading to Survivor Series once “The Boss” locked in the Bank Statement on Becky Lynch, but Paige would intervene, sending Sasha shoulder-first into the ring post before hitting the Ram Paige, pinning Becky to pick up the win and become the new #1 Contender for the Divas Championship. After the match, Paige would tell the fans that, if they cheer for Brie Bella, Becky Lynch, or Sasha Banks, they are “losers” and, if they cheer for Charlotte at Survivor Series, they are “losers” then too. Then it was time for the main event as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would captain Team Rollins, which would consist of Rollins, Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, & WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day to face the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Roman Reigns, and his four to-be-revealed tag team partners in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. It is then revealed that Roman Reigns would turn to his family for some help as two of Roman’s teammates are revealed to be none other than his cousins, The Usos, as the former tag team champions return to action before “The Big Guy” Ryback and “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose join Roman Reigns & The Usos to round out the team as the match gets underway! As soon as the match begins, Xavier Woods runs right into a super kick from Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso follows it up with the Superfly Splash, pinning Xavier and eliminating Woods from the match, giving Team Reigns an early five-on-four advantage! Shortly after this, Jimmy Uso scores with a frog splash to Kofi Kingston, eliminating the WWE Tag Team Champion from the match, leaving Team Rollins down two Superstars. The Usos were then set to eliminate Big E before Kevin Owens gets involved, allowing Big E to hit the Big Ending on Jey Uso, eliminating Jey from the match before Kevin Owens follows suit, hitting the Pop-Up Powerbomb and pinning Jimmy Uso to eliminate Jimmy from the match. With both sides even at three Superstars on each team, all hell would break loose in and out of the ring before order is finally restored. Chaos would again break out in the match, leaving it to just Ryback and Big E in the ring with Ryback hitting Shell Shocked, pinning and eliminating Big E from the match. Seth Rollins then jumps Ryback from behind, hitting the Pedigree on Ryback, pinning “The Big Guy” and eliminating Ryback from the match, leaving it to Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens for Team Rollins against Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose for Team Reigns. Later on in the match, Seth Rollins would inadvertently hit his own partner, Kevin Owens, with a knee off of the top rope, allowing Dean Ambrose to take advantage, hitting Dirty Deeds and pinning Owens for the elimination, leaving Seth Rollins to go it alone against both Reigns & Ambrose! After repeated attempts to escape Reigns & Ambrose, the desperate champion would grab a steel chair, attacking Ambrose with the chair to end the match by disqualification. Rollins then delivers a chair shot to the mid-section of Roman Reigns before delivering a second chair shot to the back of both Ambrose & Reigns. Rollins then tosses Ambrose over the barricade before turning his focus to the #1 Contender, Roman Reigns, delivering another chair shot to the back. The champion then rolls Roman into the ring, but before Rollins can use the steel chair again, Reigns pops up, scoring with the Superman Punch! Rollins is then quick to escape the ring, clutching his WWE World Heavyweight Title belt on the stage as Reigns & Ambrose stand tall in the ring. What did you think of this week’s RAW?
