WWE RAW Results: November 16, 2015By Cassidy| November 17, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results Before RAW officially gets underway, Superstars and Divas are lined up on the stage as the French flag with the “Peace for Paris” symbol in front of it is shown on the Tron as WWE COO Triple H, Roman Reigns, Ryback, Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens, The Dudley Boyz, Dolph Ziggler, Charlotte, The Miz, The Prime Time Players, among others, all stand solemnly as Lilian Garcia asks everyone for a moment of remembrance for the victims of the terrorist attacks, as well as their families and loved ones, in Paris last Friday. The entire arena then stands in silence, paying their respect to those lost. RAW then officially gets underway with the lights dimming in the arena as several druids make their way to ringside before the familiar gong of The Undertaker is heard throughout the arena as, six nights before they face two members of The Wyatt Family at Survivor Series, the Brothers of Destruction would kick off RAW as The Undertaker & Kane make their way to the ring. With the druids surrounding the ring and the entire arena cloaked in a mysterious blue light, The Undertaker says that standing before them is the “true army of darkness”, saying that “vengeance” awaits The Wyatt Family. The Undertaker then says that The Wyatt Family tried to take their souls, but there is no man, living or dead, that can tame the “power of the dark side”. Kane then says that, when you try to “steal the flames of hell, you will get burnt” before saying that they have a place in hell reserved for The Wyatt Family where they will “suffer in the fires of eternal damnation”. The Undertaker then says that Bray Wyatt’s kind of “evil” is no match for theirs and their evil has been tested time and time again before saying that Bray can choose whichever two of his family he wishes to “sacrifice” because the Brothers of Destruction have already decided their “destiny”, concluding by saying that they will never “rest in peace”. This brings out The Wyatt Family as Bray Wyatt is flanked by Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman as Bray sits down in his signature rocking chair on the stage. Bray says that, for twenty-five years, The Undertaker has instilled “fear” into every creature on the earth and he says that it is time for a “new army of darkness to emerge”. Wyatt continues, saying that The Undertaker & Kane no longer have control of when “wolves howl” or when “lightning strikes” because those powers belong to him. Bray then says that he is the “new face of fear” and, after Survivor Series, The Undertaker & Kane will go down in history as the brothers that he “destroyed”. Bray then casts lightning in the arena before saying that The Undertaker’s “creatures of the night” now belong to him! With that, the lights go out and, when they come back on, the druids surrounding the ring are all wearing sheep masks! Bray then says “run” and the masked druids flood the ring, attacking the Brothers of Destruction! The Undertaker & Kane dispose of the druids before grabbing two of the druids, drilling them with a pair of chokeslams in the middle of the ring. The Undertaker then dares The Wyatt Family to come to the ring and fight and, while Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman make their way towards the ring, Bray stops his followers, saying that their fight with the Brothers of Destruction is this Sunday, telling The Undertaker & Kane to “follow the buzzards”. The first of four Quarter-Final matches in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament would then take place as Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens would face “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville with the winner advancing to the Semi-Finals at Survivor Series to face either Dolph Ziggler or Dean Ambrose. In an incredible match, Neville would give his absolute all to try and beat Kevin Owens, but the Intercontinental Champion would survive, avoiding the Red Arrow and hitting the Pop-Up Powerbomb, pinning Neville to pick up the win and advance to the Semi-Finals to face either Dolph Ziggler or Dean Ambrose at Survivor Series. After losing to Dean Ambrose in a First Round match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament last week, Tyler Breeze would be looking to rebound this week on RAW as “Prince Pretty”, with Summer Rae in his corner, would face R-Truth. In the end, it was Tyler Breeze scoring with the Beauty Shot, pinning R-Truth for the win. In the second Quarter-Final match of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, “The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler would go one-on-one with “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose with the winner earning a spot in the Semi-Finals at Survivor Series where they will face Kevin Owens. At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Dean Ambrose scoring with Dirty Deeds, pinning Dolph Ziggler to advance to the Semi-Finals to face Kevin Owens at Survivor Series. The WWE Tag Team Champions were in action on RAW as all three members of The New Day would face the team of “The Big Guy” Ryback and The Usos in a 6-Man Tag match. During the match, Big E would take the time to cheap shot Ryback, slapping the head of “The Big Guy” and this would send Ryback into a rage as Ryback would enter the ring, tossing The New Day around the ring and even shoving the referee, which costs his team the match. “The Big Guy” then picks up Kofi Kingston for a suplex, dropping Kofi right on Xavier Woods, following it up with the Meat Hook Clothesline to Big E. The Usos then deliver a double super kick to Xavier Woods before Ryback tosses Xavier over the top rope to the outside, taking out both Big E & Kofi Kingston as Ryback & The Usos stand tall in the ring. Before he faces Cesaro in the third Quarter-Final match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, Roman Reigns would make an appearance on RAW. Roman says that, last week, Triple H offered him a free pass to the Finals of the tournament and all Reigns had to do was join The Authority, but he doesn’t “sell out” and he never will. Reigns then says that his road to the championship is going to get “tougher”, saying that this “ride” ends with him as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, telling everyone to “believe that”. With a spot in the Semi-Finals awaiting the winner, the third Quarter-Final match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament would see Roman Reigns square off with “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro. At the end of an instant classic, both Superstars would push each other beyond their limits with both men refusing to give in, but Roman Reigns would land the Superman Punch, following it up with the Spear to finally get the three-count, defeating Cesaro to advance to the Semi-Finals to face either Kalisto or Alberto Del Rio at Survivor Series. In tag team action, The Dudley Boyz would face The Ascension on RAW. In the end, it was The Dudley Boyz hitting the 3-D with Bubba Ray pinning Viktor to pick up the win for The Dudley Boyz. Then it was time for the last Quarter-Final match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament as United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, with Zeb Colter in his corner, would face Kalisto with the winner advancing to the Semi-Finals at Survivor Series. Despite a valiant effort by Kalisto, it was Alberto Del Rio scoring with the double stomp off of the top rope to the chest of Kalisto, pinning the high-flyer to pick up the win and advance to the Semi-Finals at Survivor Series, where the United States Champion will face Roman Reigns. Before they go one-on-one with the Divas Championship on the line this Sunday at Survivor Series, Divas Champion Charlotte and #1 Contender Paige would be in the same ring at the same time for the official contract signing for their title match this Sunday. Michael Cole would serve as the moderator for the contract signing, first introducing Paige before introducing Divas Champion Charlotte. Cole asks where their friendship went wrong and Paige says that, when you are a champion, there is no room for “emotions” or “friendships” and she will prove that to Charlotte this Sunday. Paige then signs the contract before Charlotte asks what made Paige so “bitter” and “angry”, saying that she didn’t get into the wrestling business to make friends. Charlotte then says that, when she started at NXT, she wanted to be just like Paige and was the “naïve, sweet Carolina girl” and Paige was the “British badass”. The Divas Champion continues, saying they both sat at home watching their parents night after night sacrifice themselves in the ring, saying that their parents cared about wrestling almost as much as they cared about their families. Things then take a very emotional turn when Charlotte brings up her late brother, Reid, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 25, saying that when her little brother passed away, Paige was there for her. The Divas Champion then says that she is there for her brother and that is the only reason that she is in WWE is to fulfill her brother’s dream, saying her and Paige were “family”. Showing no compassion for the hardships of her Survivor Series opponent, Paige says that she has been “using” Charlotte since day one, but Charlotte fires back, saying that Paige must be bad at using people since she’s the Divas Champion and Paige is not. Charlotte then says that it’s not about the Divas Title, it’s about who has your back at the end of the day, saying that Team PCB was going to “change the Divas division” until Paige’s “selfish ways” got in the way. Paige argues that she deserves to be the Divas Champion more than anyone and certainly more than Charlotte, but Charlotte says that Paige was never a true “champion”. Charlotte continues, saying that a champion is a “role model” and a person who little girls want to grow up to be, saying that she won’t be the champion forever, but when she won’t lose the title this Sunday and, when she does eventually lose the Divas Title, it won’t be to someone like Paige. Paige says that Charlotte is so “naïve”, saying it makes her “sick” and it’s “embarrassing”. Paige then appears ready to storm out of the ring, but the #1 Contender is not finished as Paige says that “no one” has Charlotte’s back and no one will have her back this Sunday, not even Charlotte’s father Ric Flair. Paige then asks about Flair’s whereabouts, telling Flair to come out there and drop an elbow on his jacket, sarcastically calling Flair “entertaining” before referring to Flair as an “old fart”. Having heard enough, Charlotte tells Paige to shut her mouth or Paige won’t even make it to Survivor Series. Michael Cole then tries to remind Charlotte that she still needs to sign the contract to make the match official, but the Divas Champion ignores Cole, continuing to address her opponent. Charlotte says that she will continue to fight each and every day just like her family does and just like her dad and her little brother did for so many years and just like she does. Paige then takes things too far when she makes the comment that Charlotte’s deceased younger brother “didn’t have much fight in him” and, naturally, this sends the Divas Champion over the edge as Charlotte leaps at Paige, taking the #1 Contender down. Paige is quick to slide out of the ring, but Charlotte is in hot pursuit, catching Paige with a Spear into the barricade before referees come out to try and break it up. However, the personal rivalry boils over as both Divas refuse to be restrained with Charlotte even hurling Paige over the announce table, continuing to pummel the #1 Contender as referees struggle to separate the two. Paige manages to crawl away from the fight before Charlotte catches up to her again and the fight spills into the ring with Paige trying to throw a table in between the two of them to no avail as Charlotte traps Paige in the corner. Referees then pull Charlotte off of Paige, giving Paige the chance to escape the ring and head up the ramp. The Divas Champion then tries to go after Paige again, but the referees hold her back as Paige continues to taunt Charlotte, daring the champion to come fight her.
