WWE SmackDown Results: October 1, 2015By Cassidy| October 2, 2015 WWE SmackDown Previous Page Detailed Results After a supernatural night on RAW where Seth Rollins viciously assaulted Corporate Kane, attempting to crush Kane’s previously injured ankle, only for the ambulance taking Corporate Kane away to fill with smoke before Demon Kane emerges, shaking off his injury and planting Rollins with a chokeslam before holding up the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt, SmackDown kicks off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. However, the champion would not even wait for his introduction, interrupting the ring announcer and storming to the ring, saying that Kane may have fooled those “idiots” in Human Resources, but he is not fooling him. Now in the ring, Rollins says that Corporate Kane is a “cover up” for his true self, the Demon Kane, demanding that Kane come out there and admit the truth to everyone. Corporate Kane would then slowly make his way to the stage on crutches, saying that he was “overjoyed” to return to his job as the Director of Operations and he was even willing to put up with Rollins being a “paranoid, inconsiderate, spoiled brat” with a smile on his face, but the champion wiped the smile off of his face when Rollins assaulted him with a steel chair on RAW, re-injuring Kane’s ankle. The champion says that Kane started it when Kane attacked him at Night of Champions and tried to drag him to hell last week on RAW, saying that everyone saw Corporate Kane get loaded into the ambulance on RAW and everyone saw Demon Kane emerge from that ambulance because Corporate Kane and Demon Kane are one in the same. Rollins continues, saying that there is one of two reasons that Kane is trying to fool everyone as the champion says that Kane thinks Rollins is “stupid”, but says that there is no way that anyone could think that, so it must be the second reason; that Kane has a “severe personality disorder” and Kane requires “serious psychiatric care”. Kane argues that Rollins is the one who needs psychiatric care, saying that Rollins has this “delusion” that Kane transformed into a demon, but the only thing that he transformed into was a man who needed medical attention after he was assaulted by Rollins, saying that he’s not a demon, he’s the Director of Operations. Rollins asks if Kane really thinks that seeing the Demon Kane is just a figment of everyone’s “imagination” and Kane responds by saying that the champion has “quite the imagination” before revealing that, this Saturday night at WWE Live at Madison Square Garden on the WWE Network, Rollins will once again challenge John Cena for the United States Championship, but this time, it will be inside a Steel Cage! Corporate Kane says that he is “keenly aware” of the demon that wreaks havoc and is capable of spreading Rollins’ body parts throughout the arena! The champion takes this as a confession by Kane, but Corporate Kane explains that he believes that there is a “demon” tormenting Rollins, but that demon is not Corporate Kane. However, this demon has turned Rollins into a “negative Nancy” as of late, so what better way to bring some sunshine into Rollins’ life than to team Rollins up with WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day! Rollins argues that Kane cannot just put him in a match and expect this all to go away, saying that he came out there to talk about the demon. This leads to Kane revealing that the team of Rollins and The New Day will face The Dudley Boyz and “the demon”, saying that it will be his job as the Director of Operations to make sure that “the demon” is here tonight. Rollins continues to protest, saying that he is the champion and there is no way that he will agree to that match unless Corporate Kane is present at ringside! Without hesitation, Corporate Kane agrees to these terms, saying that he wouldn’t miss it for the world! After the dissention of PCB allowed them to pick up a victory in 6-Diva Tag action, Team Bella was in action on SmackDown as Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, & Alicia Fox would face Team B.A.D., Sasha Banka, Naomi, & Tamina, in a 6-Diva Tag match. At the end of a wild 6-Diva Tag match, it was a distraction from Tamina that would allow Sasha Banks to lock in the Bank Statement on Nikki Bella and, with Naomi & Tamina keeping Brie Bella from breaking it up, Nikki had no choice but to tap out as Sasha picks up a big win for Team B.A.D. Backstage, an interview with Becky Lynch & Divas Champion Charlotte is interrupted by Paige, which leads to Charlotte giving Paige an ultimatum of “you’re either with us or against us”. Charlotte & Becky then exit before Paige is confronted by Natalya, who says that, if Paige ever “disrespects” her again, Paige will be sorry that she ever met her. The Intercontinental Championship was then up for grabs on SmackDown as, in a rematch from their controversial Night of Champions encounter, Ryback would be looking to regain the Intercontinental Title as “The Big Guy” would challenge Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship. After scoring with the Meat Hook Clothesline, Ryback looked to be close to securing the Intercontinental Championship as he set up for Shell Shocked, but Kevin Owens would grab the top rope before escaping to the outside. Then, on the outside, both Ryback and Owens would go for a clothesline with both men connecting as Owens and Ryback knock each other down. Both champion and challenger would then climb to their feet as the referee got closer to the count of ten and, while Ryback would make it back into the ring, Kevin Owens would opt to take the count-out loss as Owens loses the match but keeps the Intercontinental Title. After the match, Kevin Owens would pull Ryback out of the ring, sparking a brawl between the two that ends up in the ring as Owens looks for the Pop-Up Powerbomb, but “The Big Guy” would fight back, hitting Shell Shocked on the Intercontinental Champion. In the continuation of their rivalry, “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville and The Lucha Dragons would face Stardust & The Ascension in a 6-Man Tag match on SmackDown. In the end, it was Kalisto hitting Konnor with Salida del Sol, pinning Konnor for the win. After an absolute epic of a brawl that saw both men demolish each other, as well as the ringside area, on RAW, Bray Wyatt would appear on SmackDown with Luke Harper & Braun Strowman by his side to address Roman Reigns. Bray says that he went to war with Roman Reigns on RAW and he “sacrificed” his body to prove to the entire world that Roman Reigns is nothing more than a “mortal man” while Bray Wyatt is “forever”. Wyatt continues, saying that when he and Reigns went to the battlefield, they were able to create “chaos” and that is how he came to the conclusion that it “begins and ends” with him and Roman, saying “anyone but you”. Wyatt’s address is then interrupted by Roman Reigns, who makes his way to the ring, getting on the ring apron and not taking his eyes off of Bray Wyatt, even as Luke Harper & Braun Strowman stand ready to strike. Roman then comes face-to-face with Bray and both men stare at each other and, when Bray tries to speak, Reigns snatches the microphone out of Bray’s hand, continuing to glare at Wyatt before Roman utters four simple words into the microphone, “Hell in a Cell”! Roman then walks past Harper & Strowman on his way out of the ring as Bray shouts at Roman that he hopes that Reigns is “willing to die”. Then it was time for what was sure to be a unique main event as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would team with WWE Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods in their corner, to face The Dudley Boyz & Demon Kane in a 6-Man Tag match, but what makes the match unusual is that Corporate Kane would be seated at ringside! However, when it came time for Demon Kane to come out, Demon Kane would not show up as Seth Rollins glares at Corporate Kane for an explanation, but the Director of Operations has no explanation, ordering that the match get underway as The Dudley Boyz are forced to go it alone against Seth Rollins and The New Day. During the match, Seth Rollins would go for a dive to the outside with the intent of taking out D-Von Dudley, but Corporate Kane would get caught in the middle of it as Rollins inadvertently knocks the injured Director of Operations to the floor! Rollins smiles at Corporate Kane’s pain as WWE’s ringside physician helps Kane to the back and Rollins briefly turns his attention back to the match, but abandons the match to follow Corporate Kane up to the stage, demanding that Kane get back to his chair at ringside. This is when Corporate Kane stops, looks at Rollins and smiles evilly before continuing to the back as the realization hits Seth Rollins that, without Corporate Kane at ringside, the Demon Kane could strike at any moment! Meanwhile, the match would continue as Seth Rollins would try to turn his focus back to the match, but is quickly sent out of the ring by Bubba Ray Dudley. Shortly after this, D-Von dives to the outside, taking out both Big E & Xavier Woods and, as Bubba Ray crawls towards Kofi Kingston, Demon Kane arrives on the scene! With his sights set on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Kane would toss Rollins around ringside before going for the chokeslam on the floor, but Rollins would escape, fleeing through the crowd. Meanwhile, in the ring, The Dudley Boyz would hit the 3-D on Kofi Kingston as Bubba Ray pins Kofi to pick up the win for the team of The Dudley Boyz and Demon Kane! After the match, Demon Kane would spot the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt lying in the ring and, much like on RAW, Kane would pick up the title belt, admiring it until Bubba Ray tries to raise Kane’s hand in victory. This is when Demon Kane would show that he has no use for allies as Kane grabs Bubba Ray by the throat, delivering a chokeslam to Bubba Ray before planting D-Von with a chokeslam as well! The destructive demon then grabs Big E & Kofi Kingston, dropping Xavier Woods with a big boot before laying both Big E & Kofi out with a double chokeslam! Demon Kane then picks up Xavier Woods, spiking Woods with the Tombstone Piledriver before Demon Kane picks the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt back up, holding it above his head as he laughs demonically at a stunned and enraged Seth Rollins.
