WWE RAW Results: October 26, 2015By Cassidy| October 27, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results After what had to be considered a banner night for The Authority at WWE Hell in a Cell, RAW kicks off with WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon as The Authority makes their way to the ring. Stephanie says that “scores were settled and legends were made” before Triple H mentions the shocking return of Alberto Del Rio, who defeated John Cena to become the new United States Champion. Triple H then says that WWE Hell in a Cell saw the emergence of the “next generation” of Superstars before Stephanie says that the man who quite possibly had the biggest victory of all at WWE Hell in a Cell with his win over Demon Kane to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and, as a result of the victory, costing Corporate Kane his job as the Director of Operations was Seth Rollins, who proved to the world that he is truly “the man”. With that, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face, greeting Triple H & Stephanie. Triple H says that they have lined everyone up to challenge Rollins, including Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Sting, and, through it all, Rollins has proven them “right”. Stephanie then says that they hand-picked Seth Rollins from The Shield and they had to make sure that Rollins was the right man to lead the next generation of Superstars, saying that the champion has passed every single test, finding a way to win no matter the odds just like her husband Triple H has done throughout his career. Triple H then says that Rollins made The Authority and WWE “better” by getting rid of Corporate Kane with his victory at WWE Hell in a Cell, saying that it brings a tear to his eye when he says that they are “proud” of him. Like a son graduating college, Seth Rollins hugs his ‘parents’ Triple H & Stephanie McMahon before saying that he exercised his “greatest demon” by defeating Demon Kane, keeping his title and getting rid of Corporate Kane. The champion then says that, if it wasn’t for Triple H & Stephanie, he never would have gotten the opportunity to show the entire world how “great” he really is, telling the fans to “give it up” for The Authority, which is met by a majority of boos from the crowd. Stephanie then says that Rollins is undoubtedly the greatest Superstar of his generation and is sure to be a WWE Hall of Famer one day, but Rollins’ success has left them in a difficult position. Triple H then explains that Seth Rollins has beaten everyone that there is to beat in WWE, saying that Superstars have to earn the “privilege” to face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H then announces that a new #1 Contender will be determined tonight as The Authority is going to take some of the winners from WWE Hell in a Cell and pit them against each other with the winners of their respective matches advancing to a Fatal 4-Way Match later on tonight and the winner of the Fatal 4-Way Match will be the new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will earn the “privilege” of being beaten by Seth Rollins! Before the champion can weigh in on The Authority’s plan, he is interrupted by the man who survived his first Hell in a Cell match against Bray Wyatt at WWE Hell in a Cell, Roman Reigns, who makes his way to the ring to confront Seth Rollins and The Authority. Reigns says that this whole thing is making him “sick”, saying that, after tonight, Rollins is looking at his new #1 Contender and he is taking the title from Rollins. As Rollins and Reigns go face-to-face in the ring, Stephanie declares “let the games begin” before Rollins and The Authority leave the ring as Roman Reigns awaits his opponent. Fresh off of his Hell in a Cell victory over Bray Wyatt at WWE Hell in a Cell, Roman Reigns would go one-on-one with one-third of the WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, facing Kofi Kingston, with Big E in his corner, with the winner advancing to the Fatal 4-Way match later on in the evening to determine the new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. In the end, it was Roman Reigns knocking Big E off of the ring apron with the Superman Punch, following it up with the Spear to Kofi Kingston, pinning Kofi to earn one of the four spots in the Fatal 4-Way match to determine a new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After successfully defending the Intercontinental Title against Ryback at WWE Hell in a Cell, Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens would go one-on-one with “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro in a non-title match with the winner joining Roman Reigns in the Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Despite an impressive onslaught from Cesaro, Kevin Owens would score with a kick to the face, following it up with the Pop-Up Powerbomb, pinning Cesaro to pick up the win and earn a spot in the #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match. Backstage, Divas Champion Charlotte & Becky Lynch find Paige talking on her phone before Paige looks in the mirror, prattling on about her talk show appearance on Conan last week. Charlotte & Becky nearly leave before Paige stops them, saying that, of all people, Charlotte deserves to be the Divas Champion. Charlotte says that she is trying really hard to believe Paige right now and she appreciates the fact that Paige came down to support her last night. The Divas Champion then says that if she finds out that Paige is the one who attacked Natalya, there will be “consequences”. Paige again denies attacking Natalya before Charlotte asks Becky if Paige can team with them tonight with Becky reluctantly agreeing. Paige assures Charlotte & Becky that she’s changed and the three Divas hook pinkies in a sign of unity. Following a successful defense of the Divas Championship against Nikki Bella at WWE Hell in a Cell, Divas Champion Charlotte would reunite Team PCB with Becky Lynch and Paige to face Team Bella, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, & Alicia Fox, in a 6-Diva Tag match. In the end, it was Nikki Bella hitting the Rack Attack on Becky Lynch and, while Paige would try to break up the pin attempt, she was a second too late as Team Bella picks up the win. After the match, Team Bella would exit the ring as Charlotte tends to Becky Lynch and this is when Paige would pick her moment to strike as Paige attacks Charlotte from behind, spiking the Divas Champion with the Ram Paige before doing the same to Becky Lynch! Paige then grabs Charlotte, locking Charlotte in the PTO until the referee is able to break it up before Paige exits the ring, proud of her actions. Appearing on RAW for the first time in over a year, the new United States Champion Alberto Del Rio would take part in a backstage interview with his new manager Zeb Colter. Still confined to a scooter, Zeb says that they are there to form a new nation called “MexAmerica”, saying that they are proud to call themselves “proud MexAmericans”. Del Rio then adds that he is not going to let a “selfish immigrant” like Neville take away his opportunity to, once again, become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After his shocking return at WWE Hell in a Cell where he defeated John Cena for the United States Title, new United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, with Zeb Colter in his corner, would go one-on-one with “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville in a non-title match with the winner earning the third spot in the #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way match. At the end of an impressive bout, it was Alberto Del Rio hitting a double stomp off of the top rope right to the jaw of Neville, pinning Neville to pick up the win and earn a spot in the Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Following a loss to Dolph Ziggler, Neville, & Cesaro on the WWE Hell in a Cell Kickoff show, the dangerous team of Rusev, King Barrett, & “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Sheamus would be looking to rebound as the international trio would face the team of “The Big Guy” Ryback and The Dudley Boyz in a 6-Man Tag match. During the match, Ryback & The Dudley Boyz would have things in control, but when Ryback and D-Von go to get a table, King Barrett surprises Bubba Ray with a roll-up, hooking the tights for the illegal advantage, picking up the win for his team. After leading an inexplicable beatdown of The Undertaker moments after The Undertaker’s brutal Hell in a Cell match against Brock Lesnar before instructing Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman to carry The Undertaker out of the arena, the leader of The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, would appear on RAW to explain his actions. Seated in his signature rocking chair in the ring, Bray Wyatt says that, for twenty-five years, The Undertaker has walked among “the darkness and the light”, saying that grown men would “tremble” at just the sound of his name. Wyatt continues, saying that the “apocalypse” showed its face and, together, “destruction, desolation, vengeance, and fear” carried out the “soul” of The Undertaker. Bray then says that WWE Hell in a Cell was “war” and he just wanted to make something clear tonight, saying that he and Roman Reigns will face each other again someday, but not until he is “properly revitalized”. Wyatt then declares that the “demise” of The Undertaker has become his “resurrection” before saying that, as he speaks, he is “feasting on the soul” of The Undertaker and he will not stop until there is “nothing left” of The Undertaker as he ascends to his “throne”. Bray continues, saying that, somewhere, The Undertaker’s soul is being “ripped to shreds” before asking everyone to share a “moment of silence” for a man who has “lost his soul” to him before telling The Undertaker to “rest in peace”. Bray Wyatt then laughs maniacally before Demon Kane makes his presence known as The Undertaker’s younger brother makes his way to the ring. However, the lights go out and, when they come back on, Kane is surrounded by The Wyatt Family as Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman stand on the apron. Kane strikes first, taking down Harper & Rowan before Kane comes face-to-face with Braun Strowman, teeing off on the mastodon before Harper intervenes. Kane then tosses Harper to the outside and, after Kane uses Strowman’s own momentum to send the big man to the outside, Kane sets his sights on Bray Wyatt, but before Kane can chokeslam Wyatt, Harper, Rowan, & Strowman come back into the ring. The numbers game would then overwhelm “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” as Harper & Rowan work together to slam Kane down before Harper, Rowan, & Strowman put the boots to Kane with Harper holding Kane while Bray takes shots at the fallen monster. Then, just like they did to The Undertaker at WWE Hell in a Cell, Harper, Rowan, & Strowman would drag Kane out of the ring and, with Bray leading the dark parade, The Wyatt Family would carry Kane off to an unknown fate, presumably to the same location they took The Undertaker. Then, backstage, The Wyatt Family drags Kane off into the smoky darkness while Bray Wyatt sings “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands”. With one spot left in the #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way match later in the night, “The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler would go one-on-one with WWE Tag Team Champion Big E, with Kofi Kingston in his corner, with the winner joining Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, & Alberto Del Rio in the Fatal 4-Way match to determine a #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Before the match begins, “Prince Pretty” would make his RAW debut as Tyler Breeze marches out with his new girlfriend Summer Rae as the duo has a seat in their own VIP section as the match gets underway. At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Dolph Ziggler overcoming the outside interference from Kofi Kingston, scoring with the Zig Zag and pinning Big E for the win, earning the final spot in the #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way match. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would then make his way to ringside as Seth Rollins would be a guest on commentary as it was time for the main event as Roman Reigns, Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, and Dolph Ziggler would square off in a Fatal 4-Way Match with the winner becoming the new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. During the wild match, Roman Reigns would hit Dolph Ziggler with the Superman Punch, but Alberto Del Rio is quick to toss Reigns out of the ring to try and score the pin. Dolph would manage to kick out and, after missing the enziguiri on Dolph, Dolph would score with the Famouser on Del Rio, but Del Rio would kick out. Shortly after this, Kevin Owens would take control of the match, hitting the Cannonball on both Dolph and Del Rio. It then comes down to Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens and Owens would deliver a super kick to Reigns before going for the Pop-Up Powerbomb, but Reigns would counter with the Superman Punch, following it up with the Spear, pinning the Intercontinental Champion to win the match and become the new #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! Having finally made his way back to title contention, Roman Reigns would celebrate his victory as Seth Rollins is beside himself at ringside. Roman then exits the ring as Rollins and Reigns go face-to-face with both men glancing at Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Title belt before Rollins grabs his belt, laughing nervously and taking several deep breaths before Reigns slaps the title belt and walks away, leaving Seth Rollins with a lot to think about regarding his new #1 Contender.
