WWE RAW Results: October 19, 2015By Cassidy| October 20, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results RAW kicks off with an unexpected surprise as, before he welcomes Brock Lesnar on his podcast immediately following RAW on the WWE Network, the Dallas crowd explodes with the arrival of WWE Hall of Famer “The Texas Rattlesnake” Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin recalls breaking into the wrestling business in Dallas back in 1989, saying that they shipped in himself and The Rock to “break in” the American Airlines Center. The Hall of Famer then says that if the fans are ready for RAW and ready for WrestleMania 32, give him a “hell yeah”! Austin continues, plugging the Stone Cold Podcast with his guest Brock Lesnar on the WWE Network after RAW before saying that he is out there to introduce a man that he’s got a lot of “respect” for and has had many great battles with in the past as the Hall of Famer introduces “The Deadman” The Undertaker! For the first time since his controversial win over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, The Undertaker would make his way to the ring six nights before he steps inside Hell in a Cell to put a definitive end to his grueling rivalry with Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker addresses Brock Lesnar, saying that they have “one last battle” to fight before saying that the “depths of hell will look like the gates of heaven” compared to where he is going to take Brock Lesnar this Sunday inside Hell in a Cell. This brings out The Undertaker’s Hell in a Cell opponent Brock Lesnar, who is accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman. As both Lesnar and Heyman remain on the stage, Heyman says that Brock wants to avenge the “illegitimate victory” that The Undertaker got over Lesnar at SummerSlam before saying that The Undertaker “lusts” after the notion of avenging Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak. Heyman continues, saying that Brock will get his revenge this Sunday and The Undertaker will be “forced” to learn what it is like to live with a “tainted legacy”, saying that The Undertaker has dominated everyone in his legendary career with the exception of Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker responds by removing his hat and jacket, preparing for a fight as he says that, when you take “everything from a man”, then that man ends up fighting with “nothing to lose”. The Undertaker then gestures for “The Beast” to meet him in the ring for a fight and, despite the protests of Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar makes his way down the ramp, hopping on the ring apron. However, Heyman’s screaming finally convinces Brock Lesnar to back off as Lesnar and Heyman walk away from the fight with smiles on their faces. Before he brings the U.S. Open Challenge to WWE Hell in a Cell this Sunday night, the opening match of the night would see United States Champion John Cena join forces with the #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles The Dudley Boyz to face WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day in a 6-Man Tag Match. During the match, Big E would send Bubba Ray face-first into the steel ring post before John Cena dives off of the top rope, taking out Big E. With D-Von’s attention on the outside, Xavier Woods would take advantage, rolling up D-Von and hooking the tights, securing the win for The New Day. After the match, John Cena and The Dudley Boyz would come back into the ring, clearing the ring of Big E & Kofi Kingston before Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Xavier Woods. As Big E & Kofi Kingston helplessly look on, D-Von gets a table from under the ring, setting it up in the ring before Cena and D-Von hoist Xavier up to Bubba Ray, who drives Woods through the table with a big powerbomb! Moments after the news was broken that Randy Orton was not a part of WWE’s tour of Mexico over the weekend and will also not be a part of RAW or WWE Hell in a Cell this Sunday due to an apparent injury possibly caused by The Wyatt Family, Orton’s scheduled tag team partner against Luke Harper & Braun Strowman at WWE Hell in a Cell, Dean Ambrose, would appear in a backstage interview regarding the whereabouts of “The Viper”. Ambrose confirms that The Wyatt Family is responsible for Randy Orton’s absence before saying that he’s got a fight to pick with Luke Harper & Braun Strowman and he is not letting anyone get in his way tonight! Before she challenges Charlotte for the Divas Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell, Nikki Bella would team with her Team Bella teammate Alicia Fox, with Brie Bella in their corner, to face Team B.A.D.’s Naomi & Sasha Banks, with Tamina in their corner. In the end, it was Nikki Bella scoring with the Rack Attack, pinning Naomi to pick up the win for herself and Alicia Fox. In his home state of Texas, “The Heartbreak Kid” would make a special appearance on RAW as WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels would make his way to the ring. Michaels says that he’s been in a “cage” and he’s been in a “cell”, but both pale in comparison to Hell in a Cell, reminding everyone that he was in the very first Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker. Michaels then says, as if The Undertaker facing Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell was not enough, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt will also square off inside Hell in a Cell, saying that he believes that the two Hell in a Cell matches will “tear the house down”. The Hall of Famer is then interrupted by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who comes face-to-face with “The Heartbreak Kid”, sparking a brief “one more match” chant from the crowd. The champion says that Shawn Michaels was told to start the second hour of RAW by introducing “the man” Seth Rollins. HBK says that he decided to come out there and have some fun with the fans and they were having a great time until Rollins showed up. Rollins says that, if Michaels doesn’t want to do what Triple H wants him to do, then that is between them. The champion continues, saying that Michaels needs to be talking about the man who is going to “stop the show” this Sunday, saying that people have been referring to him as “Shawn Michaels Version 2”, but he is a lot “better than the original”, saying that Michaels needs to be talking about Seth Rollins. The Hall of Famer says that if he had a nickel for every guy who was supposed to be the next Shawn Michaels, he would be a “billionaire”, saying that Rollins and so many other guys are perfectly happy being called “Version 2” before saying that, in his career, it never occurred to him to be the “second coming” of anyone else because he was too busy becoming the “greatest wrestler who ever lived”! The champion then accuses Michaels of being “jealous”, saying that his “moment” at this year’s WrestleMania eclipsed every WrestleMania moment that Shawn Michaels has had in his career! Rollins then says that he’s not worried about his WWE Hell in a Cell challenger Kane because Kane is going to be just like everyone else who has tried to take the title away from him, saying that Kane will be left looking at the stars this Sunday. The fired up champion then decides he is done talking and calls for his music to be played, but his music doesn’t play and Shawn Michaels tells Rollins that the biggest downside of being a “Version 2” is that, when you ask for your music to be played, they don’t get it. The Hall of Famer then informs Seth Rollins that he cannot leave anyways because he has a match against Ryback right now before Michaels asks for his music to be played and the Hall of Famer’s music is played without hesitation as HBK exits the ring, leaving an embarrassed Seth Rollins in the ring. With a title defense against Demon Kane coming up this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion was in action on RAW as Seth Rollins would go one-on-one with the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title, Ryback, in a non-title match. In the end, it was Seth Rollins planting Ryback with the Pedigree, pinning “The Big Guy” to pick up the win. After attempting to distance himself from the drama surrounding the fallout of Rusev and Lana’s engagement, “The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler would team with “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro and “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville to face the team of “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev, King Barrett, and “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Sheamus in a 6-Man Tag match. At the end of a wild 6-Man Tag match, it was Sheamus blasting Dolph Ziggler with the Brogue Kick from the outside, allowing King Barrett to pin Dolph to pick up the win for his team. After RAW already saw special appearances from WWE Hall of Famers Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels, the only two-time WWE Hall of Famer in history “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair would make an appearance on RAW. After getting the crowd excited about WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Ric Flair reveals that Roman Reigns will be joining Dean Ambrose in his scheduled match against Luke Harper & Braun Strowman tonight. Roman Reigns then makes his way to the ring, greeting Ric Flair before the lights go out and The Wyatt Family appears on the outside of the ring. However, it is an altered Wyatt Family as Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman are not joined by Luke Harper, but instead they are joined by Erick Rowan! Apparently not noticing the change in The Wyatt Family, Roman Reigns says that he expected it to be a three-on-one situation with them before saying that he is going to get two steel chairs, one for him and one for Bray. Roman then does just that, bringing two chairs in the ring and setting them both up before sitting down and saying that he is calling his WWE Hell in a Cell opponent out. Bray then cautiously enters the ring, leaving his monsters on the outside as he sits across from Roman Reigns. Reigns says that Bray is a “bully” and he surrounds himself by “mountains” because he is “scared” before saying that Bray is going to sic his monsters on him, but before he does, they need to talk about Hell in a Cell. Roman continues, saying that Bray should be “very, very afraid” of being locked inside Hell in a Cell with him, repeatedly poking Bray in the chest. When Bray finally has enough, he stands up, but is quickly knocked down with a right hand from Reigns before Erick Rowan tries to get into the ring, only to be knocked back out of the ring with a chair shot from Reigns. Roman then gives Braun Strowman the same treatment before delivering a chair shot to the mid-section and to the back of Bray Wyatt. Rowan then pulls Bray out of the ring before Dean Ambrose rushes to the ring to stand guard alongside Reigns as both men stand tall with steel chairs as The Wyatt Family retreats to the back. Backstage, Shawn Michaels enters The Authority’s office as WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon are with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and when the topic of a tag team partner for Ambrose & Reigns against the three members of The Wyatt Family comes up, the Hall of Famer is quick to suggest that Seth Rollins reunite with Ambrose & Reigns! Rollins and The Authority laugh this notion off as Triple H says that Rollins has already competed tonight, not to mention the fact that Ambrose & Reigns cannot stand Seth Rollins. HBK then starts to stir the pot, likening the champion to a “child” that Triple H & Stephanie are having to “protect” and bringing up how many times he and Triple H used to wrestle in a single night back in the day. Rollins then says that The Authority does not need to “protect” him, saying that he beat Ryback earlier and he is going to stop the show again. Surprisingly, the champion then says that, if Ambrose & Reigns need a partner tonight, then he’s in! Rollins then leaves the room as Shawn Michaels and The Authority resume their argument. With a title defense against Nikki Bella this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, Divas Champion Charlotte, with Becky Lynch in her corner, would go one-on-one with Brie Bella, with her Team Bella teammates Nikki Bella & Alicia Fox in her corner, in a non-title match. In the end, it was Charlotte locking in the Figure-Eight, making Brie Bella tap out to pick up the win. In a backstage interview, Paige is questioned about the attack on Natalya on SmackDown last week and a visibly uncomfortable and unhinged Paige denies attacking Natalya. Paige even goes as far to suggest that Divas from the past and present could have been responsible, bring up Naomi, Sasha Banks, Eve Torres, Trish Stratus, Lita, and even Alundra Blayze! Renee Young continues to press the issue and Paige responds by telling Renee that she needs to get her facts straight, telling Renee that she is hardly “Erin Andrews” and she’s “not as cute”! Before he defends the Intercontinental Title against Ryback at WWE Hell in a Cell, Kevin Owens was in action on RAW as the Intercontinental Champion would go one-on-one with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry in a non-title match. In the end, it was Kevin Owens managing to hit the Pop-Up Powerbomb on Mark Henry, pinning “The World’s Strongest Man” for the win. After the match, Ryback would come out looking for a fight and Kevin Owens would exit the ring to try and avoid the #1 Contender, but Mark Henry would make sure “The Big Guy” would get what he wanted as Henry tosses the Intercontinental Champion back into the ring where Ryback plants Owens with a powerbomb of his own before exiting the ring, looking ready for his title match at WWE Hell in a Cell! In a backstage interview, Seth Rollins laughs off the idea of tonight being a one night only reunion of The Shield as the champion says that it’s not about a Shield reunion, it’s about him proving to The Authority and to Shawn Michaels that he is the “man”. Rollins then says that, if Ambrose & Reigns want to rehash old issues, then he will just “destroy them again”. Then it was time for an unusual main event as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would join forces with two men who he used to call friends, but, thanks to Rollins’ betrayal, they became bitter enemies as Rollins would team with Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns to face The Wyatt Family, which now consists of Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, & Erick Rowan, in a 6-Man Tag match. Before the match gets underway, The Wyatt Family gets in the ring and steps forward, coming face-to-face with Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns with Seth Rollins reluctantly stepping forward, standing side-by-side with Ambrose & Reigns for a moment before the dissention begins as the champion calls the shots, saying he is the “brains of the operation”, telling Ambrose & Reigns to get on the apron as the match gets underway. During the match, Seth Rollins would show his true colors as, when Dean Ambrose goes for a tag, the champion feigns a knee injury to avoid getting tagged into the match. Shortly after this, Roman Reigns scores with the Superman Punch to Erick Rowan, but Braun Strowman would break up the attempted pin before all hell breaks loose in the match. With Strowman strangling Roman Reigns with his modified triangle choke, Dean Ambrose would frantically search under the ring, grabbing a kendo stick and attacking the huge Strowman with the stick to no avail as Strowman breaks the stick over his knee! Ambrose then manages to use Strowman’s own momentum against him to send the behemoth to the outside before “The Lunatic Fringe” attempts to dive onto Strowman, but Strowman catches Ambrose, slamming Ambrose on the floor with a sick thud. Bray Wyatt & Erick Rowan then join in on the beatdown before Roman Reigns dives to the outside, taking out all three men. With his sights set on his Hell in a Cell adversary, Roman Reigns brings Bray Wyatt into the ring, measuring Bray before connecting with the Spear. As Strowman pulls Bray Wyatt out of the ring, Reigns takes Erick Rowan out with a Spear, leaving Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose standing tall, having gotten the better of The Wyatt Family just days before WWE Hell in a Cell.
