WWE RAW Results: October 12, 2015By Cassidy| October 13, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results Before RAW officially gets underway, Corporate Kane is on a conference call with WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon as The Authority is apparently having trouble getting their flight to Chicago in order. Stephanie comments that it’s been a “day from hell” and, as Stephanie argues with the airport employees, Triple H tells Kane that he is going to have to “hold down the fort” and Corporate Kane assures The Authority that he has everything under control. The COO then tells Kane that they are going to need him to be a “professional” and put his issues with Seth Rollins aside until WWE Hell in a Cell and the Director of Operations gives The Authority his word. After his conference call, Corporate Kane tells a stage manager to inform Seth Rollins that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion will compete in a Lumberjack Match against the Director of Operations himself! RAW then gets underway with “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose, who welcomes everyone to RAW before saying that he is more of an “actions speak louder than words” kind of guy and he is looking for a “fight”. This brings out Randy Orton as “The Viper” makes his way to the ring as Orton reveals to Dean Ambrose and to the world that they are going to be in for the fight of their lives at WWE Hell in a Cell as he was just informed that, in less than two weeks, they will be teaming up to take on The Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper & Braun Strowman! Ambrose says that he’s been fighting The Wyatt Family for years, telling Orton to follow his lead and Orton will be just fine. Orton says that, when Ambrose was only dreaming of being a WWE Superstar, Orton was already “hearing voices” and, while he doesn’t play well with others, if there is one guy in WWE who he sees “eye-to-eye with”, it’s Ambrose, telling Ambrose to follow his lead. “The Lunatic Fringe” says that he’s not good at “taking direction” and Orton says that neither is he, but he also doesn’t like standing on the sidelines while Ambrose has all the “fun”. Things then continue to escalate once Ambrose says that he has never trusted Orton and he never will and “The Viper” says that, most of the time, he can’t even trust himself. The confrontation is then interrupted by The New Day as the WWE Tag Team Champions dance their way out to the stage. As The New Day makes their way towards the ring, Xavier Woods says that they “destroyed” and the only thing that Orton & Ambrose can talk about is The Wyatt Family. Kofi Kingston then says that Orton & Ambrose need to be talking about The New Day before The New Day brags about taking out Dolph Ziggler, The Dudley Boyz, and John Cena last week. Kofi then claims that, in one night, The New Day accomplished more than “any other team ever” before saying that The Shield, The Authority, Evolution, and Legacy never accomplished what they did last week, asking Orton how many groups he’s been in. Corporate Kane then appears on the Tron, saying that he is running RAW tonight before saying that he has a “fire safety poster” in his office that says “if you play with fire, you get burned” before saying that, if The New Day thinks that they are the most dominant team in WWE, then they can prove it in a tag team match against Randy Orton & Dean Ambrose right now! In an impromptu match made by Corporate Kane, the opening match of the night would see “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose team up to face WWE Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods in their corner, in a non-title match. During the match, tensions would rise between Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose as both men try to outdo each other, but Orton and Ambrose would still manage to work together. In the end, Randy Orton had matters well in hand in the match, but when Orton went for the RKO on Kofi Kingston, Kofi counters, shoving Orton into Dean Ambrose and, as Ambrose falls out of the ring, Kofi surprises “The Viper” with a roll-up, scoring the three-count to pick up the win for The New Day. Before she challenges Charlotte for the Divas Championship in two weeks at WWE Hell in a Cell, Team Bella member Nikki Bella, with Brie Bella & Alicia Fox in her corner, would go one-on-one with Team B.A.D.’s Naomi, with Sasha Banks & Tamina in her corner, on RAW. During the match, Brie Bella would try to get underneath the skin of Naomi and Team B.A.D. by grabbing a microphone, standing on the announce table, and mimicking the fans’ chants of “We Want Sasha” and Sasha is what Brie would get as “The Boss” pulls Brie off of the announce table to the floor! However, the distraction would pay off as, with Naomi’s attention on the activity at ringside, Nikki Bella would take advantage, dropping Naomi with a stiff forearm and following it up with the Rack Attack, pinning Naomi for the win. United States Champion John Cena would then make his way to the ring as it was time for the U.S. Open Challenge. Cena says that there is “only one Allstate Arena”, saying that he had his very first match in the Allstate Arena and what makes the Allstate Arena special is the people that fill it. Cena continues, saying that the fans “appreciate excellence” before saying that, as it has always been, Chicago is the “place to be” and John Cena is the “man to beat”. Cena then declares the start of the U.S. Open Challenge, saying “if you want some, come get some”. The man who answers the challenge is the man who was originally slated to challenge Cena for the United States Title last week before he was assaulted by The New Day as Dolph Ziggler would step up to challenge John Cena for the United States Championship! Early on in the match, there would be a halt in the action as John Cena would address an occurrence amongst the fans as the United States Champion calls attention to a proposal in the crowd, congratulating a couple in the crowd who literally just got engaged! Both champion and challenger would throw everything at each other as Dolph Ziggler would even resort to using a rake to the eyes and would also hit the Zig Zag, but the resilient John Cena would survive as Cena would pop up out of nowhere, scoring with the Attitude Adjustment and pinning Dolph for the win to successfully retain the United States Championship in another stellar title defense. With another shot at the WWE Tag Team Titles against The New Day coming up at WWE Hell in a Cell, The Dudley Boyz were in action on RAW as Bubba Ray & D-Von would face The Ascension. In the end, it was The Dudley Boyz paying homage to Chicago’s own Road Warriors with the Doomsday Device to Viktor, following it up with the 3-D as D-Von pins Viktor to pick up the win for The Dudley Boyz. Neville was in action on RAW as “The Man That Gravity Forgot” would join forces with “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro to face King Barrett and “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Sheamus. In the end, it was King Barrett hitting Neville with the Royal Bull Hammer from the outside, allowing Sheamus to pin Neville to pick up the win. Less than two weeks before he steps into the demonic Hell in a Cell to wage war with Bray Wyatt at WWE Hell in a Cell, Roman Reigns would go one-on-one with The Wyatt Family’s resident mastodon Braun Strowman, with Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper in his corner. Throughout the match, Roman Reigns would do everything in his power to try and topple the giant Braun Strowman, but Strowman would keep coming back. Sensing that his monster was in trouble, Bray Wyatt would send Luke Harper to intervene on the outside, but Reigns would catch Harper with the Superman Punch before Roman launches himself at Strowman, blasting Strowman with a Superman Punch that sends the mastodon tumbling over the announce table! Roman then rolls back into the ring at the last second to score the count-out victory over Braun Strowman, who is enraged at ringside as Strowman throws chairs around before Bray Wyatt calms his monster down. The Wyatt Family then surrounds the ring with their sights set on Roman Reigns, but when The Wyatt Family enters the ring, Reigns plays it smart and exits the ring as Bray Wyatt kneels down and shouts “follow the buzzards”. However, Bray was too close to the ropes for his own good as Roman pops Wyatt with an uppercut from the outside before walking to the back with a smile on his face. Backstage, Corporate Kane is in another conference call with The Authority as the Director of Operations is trying to communicate with WWE COO Triple H, who is having trouble getting good cell phone reception. Kane repeatedly tries to explain that he is facing Seth Rollins in the main event which leads to the call being abruptly dropped as Corporate Kane smiles. In a rematch from SmackDown, “The Big Guy” Ryback would go one-on-one with “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev, with Summer Rae in his corner. In the end, it was Ryback hitting Rusev with Shell Shocked, pinning “The Bulgarian Brute” for the win. After the match, Summer Rae would address the much publicized engagement of Rusev and Lana over the weekend as Summer says that she wants everyone to know the “real man” that Rusev is to her, showing the TMZ report that revealed Rusev and Lana’s engagement to the world. Visibly disgusted by the fact that Rusev did not even tell her about the engagement and that she had to find out through TMZ that Rusev and Lana have actually been engaged for a month, Summer says that she now knows the kind of man that Rusev is. Summer continues, saying that everyone thinks that Rusev is a “strong, dominant force to be reckon with”, but Rusev is just a “whipped little boy”! Enraged, Summer tells Rusev that she will never waste another minute of her time on an “narcissistic, self-centered, egotistical, jealous, lying, cheating bastard”, punctuating the end of their relationship with a vicious slap to the face! With a title defense against Ryback coming up at WWE Hell in a Cell, the Intercontinental Champion was in action on RAW as Kevin Owens would go one-on-one with Kalisto, with Sin Cara in his corner, in a non-title match. In the end, it was Kevin Owens hitting the Pop-Up Powerbomb, pinning Kalisto for the win. Before she puts the Divas Title on the line against Nikki Bella at WWE Hell in a Cell in a couple of weeks, Divas Champion Charlotte & Becky Lynch, with Natalya in their corner, would face Team Bella’s Brie Bella & Alicia Fox, with Nikki Bella in their corner, with Paige a guest on commentary. During the match, Nikki Bella & Alicia Fox would get on the ring apron, which would lead to Natalya confronting the two Team Bella members. Paige would take exception to this, initiating a shoving match between herself and Natalya, which puts Natalya in position to get kicked in the head by Brie Bella. Shortly after this, Nikki Bella would catch Charlotte with a right hand behind the referee’s back, which would let her sister take advantage as Brie hits a missile dropkick from the middle rope, pinning the Divas Champion to pick up the win for herself and Alicia Fox. Backstage, Corporate Kane is finally able to talk to The Authority over the phone without issue as Triple H & Stephanie are finally informed that Corporate Kane has put himself into a Lumberjack Match against Seth Rollins in the main event. Triple H tells the Director of Operations that “under no circumstances” is Corporate Kane going out there to face Seth Rollins tonight, making it clear that he does not care who he picks to face Seth Rollins, but it will not be Corporate Kane! Triple H then concludes the phone call by telling the Director of Operations to “not screw this up”. After hanging up, Corporate Kane ponders for a moment before a sinister smile creeps across his face. Then it was time for the main event as several Superstars surround the ring including Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, The Ascension, Cesaro, Mark Henry, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Sheamus, Neville, Sin Cara, King Barrett, The Dudley Boyz, King Barrett, Stardust, Jack Swagger, Rusev, The Prime Time Players, & “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would compete in a Lumberjack Match against an opponent selected by Director of Operations Corporate Kane and the individual that Corporate Kane would choose would be Rollins’ worst nightmare as the champion would be stuck in a Lumberjack Match against his WWE Hell in a Cell opponent Demon Kane! Early on in the match, Demon Kane would make it a point to repeatedly toss Seth Rollins to the outside and, each time, the lumberjacks would do their job, sending the champion back into the ring. However, when Demon Kane finds himself on the outside, the lumberjacks want no part of “The Devil’s Favorite Demon”, steering clear of Demon Kane. Shortly after this, Seth Rollins tries to escape through the crowd, only for Cesaro to catch up to the champion, making sure that Rollins doesn’t get away before Demon Kane finds himself on the outside once again. The lumberjacks would still keep their distance from Demon Kane, but Kane would tee off on the lumberjacks anyways, taking The New Day out with right hands before coming face-to-face with a familiar foe in Big Show! Demon Kane would catch Big Show with an uppercut before blasting Viktor, but when Kane turns back around he is blasted with the Knockout Punch by Big Show, leveling Demon Kane before walking to the back! The New Day and Konnor would then put Demon Kane back into the ring as Seth Rollins tries to pin Kane, but Kane kicks out. Later on in the match, Demon Kane would hit a superplex on Seth Rollins, leaving both men down in the ring and this is when The New Day would get involved, pulling Demon Kane out of the ring. This would spark a huge brawl between the lumberjacks before Demon Kane is rolled back into the ring as The New Day, Sheamus, King Barrett, Stardust, Rusev, The Ascension, & Kevin Owens all stomp away at Demon Kane! The New Day would then call a halt to the assault so that Big E could for a big splash on Kane, but Demon Kane would sit up before fighting back against the lumberjacks before the rest of the lumberjacks enter the ring and another huge brawl gets underway! The majority of the lumberjacks would find their way to the outside of the ring, but a couple stragglers would feel the wrath of Demon Kane as Kane plants Stardust with a chokeslam before grabbing Xavier Woods for another chokeslam. Seth Rollins then comes back into the ring, trying to catch Demon Kane with the Pedigree, but Kane would break free of the champion’s grasp, picking Rollins up and drilling Rollins with the Tombstone Piledriver, pinning the WWE World Heavyweight Champion to pick up the win! Demon Kane then stands tall in the ring, glaring down at Seth Rollins after having picked up some major momentum on his way to WWE Hell in a Cell. What did you think of this week’s RAW?
