Breaking WWE News: Ryback out of action with staph infection

WWE.com broke the news on Wednesday that reigning Intercontinental Champion Ryback suffered a right knee injury on RAW that will prevent him from competing this Sunday at Battleground. Later that same day, Ryback revealed on Twitter that the injury to his knee was actually a severe staph infection. “The Big Guy” is being treated for the infection and, despite the severity of the infection, Ryback is expected to make a full recovery in the next few weeks. Ryback was originally scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat Match this Sunday.
