WWE SmackDown Results: June 11, 2015By Cassidy| June 12, 2015 WWE SmackDown Previous Page Detailed Results With ladders adorning the stage, SmackDown kicks off with the Superstar who will challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Ladder Match this Sunday at Money-in-the-Bank as “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring with the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt over his shoulder. Ambrose says that he “let the good times roll” in New Orleans this past Monday night before showing a few Instagram pictures from his night on the town. Ambrose continues, showing the events of RAW where he not only helped J&J Security pick up a major upset over Seth Rollins, but also left the champion lying with Dirty Deeds. “The Lunatic Fringe” then says that he hopes that Seth Rollins “remembers” what it looks like to be abandoned by his friends and to be left looking at the lights after Dirty Deeds, vowing it will happen again this Sunday at Money-in-the-Bank. This brings out the title-less WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who says that Ambrose is not in his “league” and, at Money-in-the-Bank, he is going to take back what is rightfully is. The champion then gets on the ring apron, demanding that Ambrose give him the title belt back and, surprisingly, Ambrose lays the title belt in the middle of the ring before exiting. Rollins then enters the ring and picks up the belt before “The Lunatic Fringe” informs the champion that the belt is just a replica he bought from the merchandise stand. Ambrose then reveals that the last few days have been a “blur” for him, so he’s not sure where the real title belt even is! Ambrose then says that he is going to retrace his steps and find the title belt, saying that he is going to find the real title belt right now. Dean Ambrose then exits through the crowd as Seth Rollins shouts at Dean Ambrose to come back, saying he’s not done with him yet. This brings out The Authority’s Director of Operations, who rubs in Rollins’ loss to J&J Security on RAW before saying that the champion will have no help from The Authority come Money-in-the-Bank just like Rollins will have no help tonight when he goes one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler! Three nights before he defends the Intercontinental Championship against “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show at Money-in-the-Bank, the opening match of the night would see Intercontinental Champion Ryback square off with the self-proclaimed “A-Lister” The Miz in a non-title match. Despite The Miz’s best efforts, the determined Intercontinental Champion would plant Miz with Shell Shocked, pinning Miz for the win. After the match, Big Show comes out to the stage, saying that, as a giant, he has the license to do “whatever he wants, whenever he wants” and, this Sunday, no matter how “hungry” Ryback gets, he will not be able to digest the Knockout Punch. Big Show then says that “The Big Guy” is “no match” for Big Show and Ryback responds by daring Big Show to come to the ring and fight him, calling Big Show “little man”. Big Show starts to make his way to the ring before saying that he doesn’t “give fights away” and he doesn’t do what he’s told, telling Ryback that his “feeding time” is this Sunday. Before he faces R-Truth on the Money-in-the-Bank Kickoff show this Sunday, 2015 King of the Ring King Barrett would go one-on-one with Jack Swagger on SmackDown with R-Truth a guest on commentary. During the match, R-Truth would decide to try on King Barrett’s crown and robe before putting his hands on Barrett’s scepter. This brings King Barrett to the outside and R-Truth takes off the crown and robe before running around ringside, luring Barrett right into a clothesline from Jack Swagger. Despite this, King Barrett would make a comeback, blasting Swagger with the Royal Bull Hammer, pinning Swagger for the win. Before he defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Dean Ambrose in a Ladder Match this Sunday at Money-on-the-Bank, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would go one-on-one with one of the seven participants in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match, “The Showoff” Dolph Ziggler, in a non-title match. In a hard-fought match, Dolph Ziggler would throw everything at the champion, but when Ziggler comes off of the top rope with a high cross body, Seth Rollins rolls through the move, grabbing the tights for the illegal advantage, scoring the three-count to pick up the win. Three nights before she challenges Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship at Money-in-the-Bank, Paige was in action on SmackDown as “The Diva of Tomorrow” would go one-on-one with Alicia Fox. In the end, it was Paige locking in the PTO on Alicia Fox, making Alicia tap out to pick up the win. Then it was time for the main event as, three nights before they, along with Dolph Ziggler, take part in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at Money-in-the-Bank, Roman Reigns would join forces with “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville to face “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane, and WWE Tag Team Champion and New Day member Kofi Kingston, with Big E & Xavier Woods in his corner, in a 6-Man Tag Match. During the match, all hell would break loose as Roman Reigns would have his sights set on delivering the Superman Punch to Kofi Kingston, but Kane would intervene, dropping Reigns with a chokeslam. Randy Orton would then enter the ring and deliver the RKO to Kane before Sheamus catches “The Viper” with the Brogue Kick and Neville takes Sheamus down with a missile dropkick. Kofi Kingston then lands Trouble in Paradise on Neville before Roman Reigns catches Kofi in mid-air with the Superman Punch, but before Reigns can secure the three-count, Big E & Xavier Woods attack Roman, ending the match by disqualification. Big E & Xavier Woods then hit the double team Big Ending on Roman Reigns before Xavier Woods brings a ladder into the ring. Big E & Xavier Woods then set up the ladder before helping Kofi Kingston to his feet, trying to get him to climb the ladder. Dolph Ziggler then comes out with his own ladder, using it to take out both Big E & Xavier Woods before Dolph sends himself and Kofi over the top rope to the outside. With a fight breaking out between Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, and The New Day on the outside, Neville would take to the skies as, despite several referees trying to stop him, “The Man That Gravity Forgot” would take a leap of faith off of the top of the ladder to the outside, taking out all eight men! Neville then symbolically climbs the ladder in the center of the ring, retrieving the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase in what could be the scene this Sunday at Money-in-the-Bank.
