WWE RAW Results: May 18, 2015By Cassidy| May 20, 2015 WWE Raw Champion of Chaos. One night after an unforgettable Payback, the 1148th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA. In a Fatal 4-Way Match at Payback, Director of Operations Kane made his true allegiance known as Kane, along with J&J Security, were an integral part in a grueling four-man melee for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and, in the end, it was Seth Rollins using his mentor Triple H’s own Pedigree to secure the victory and retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, & Dean Ambrose. One night removed from his Fatal 4-Way title defense, Seth Rollins will certainly be all smiles when he arrives at RAW with the gold still in his possession. On what looks to be a promising night for The Authority, RAW would also see the return of WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon who will appear live on RAW for the first time in several weeks! What will Stephanie have to say or do when she returns? At Payback, John Cena and Rusev waged absolute war against each other in one the most grueling “I Quit” Matches ever and at the end of the match, it was John Cena using the top rope to add excruciating pain in a modified STF and, while Rusev spouted something in Bulgarian, it was Lana who would take the microphone from the referee and quit on Rusev’s behalf, giving John Cena the win and ensuring that John Cena came out on top as the United States Champion. Later in the evening, Rusev would shout at Lana to “get out” of his locker room. While tensions continue to rise between Rusev and Lana, one thing is certain and that is that John Cena is still the United States Champion and, despite his punishing match just one night earlier, Cena would be on RAW to continue the U.S. Open Challenge! Who will show up to take advantage of John Cena’s potentially damaged state and challenge Cena for the United States Title? Also, after Xavier Woods illegally rolled up Cesaro at Payback to win the 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship for The New Day and, thirteen nights before The New Day is scheduled to defend the WWE Tag Team Titles in the first ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match at WWE Elimination Chamber, RAW would see The New Day’s Big E & Kofi Kingston defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Cesaro & Tyson Kidd in a rematch from Payback, but this time, Xavier Woods will be banned from ringside! As if the United States Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship being defended was not enough, the Divas Championship would also be on the line as Nikki Bella will defend the Divas Title against the Diva who pinned her in tag team action at Payback, Naomi. Will Naomi’s new alliance with Tamina secure the Divas Championship for Naomi? Match Results Sheamus def. Ryback by pin following the Brogue Kick. King Barrett def. Neville by pin following the Royal Bull Hammer. Bray Wyatt (with J&J Security) def. Dean Ambrose by pin following Sister Abigail. WWE Tag Team Championship: Xavier Woods Banned: Cesaro & Tyson Kidd (with Natalya) def. Big E & Kofi Kingston (c) by DQ after Big E & Kofi Kingston (c) ignore the referee. As a result, Big E & Kofi Kingston (c) retain. Dolph Ziggler def. Stardust by pin following the Zig Zag. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan def. Fandango & Zack Ryder by Erick Rowan pinning Zack Ryder following the full nelson slam. Divas Championship: Brie Bella Banned: Nikki Bella (c) def. Naomi (with Tamina) by DQ after Tamina interferes. As a result, Nikki Bella retains. See page 2 for detailed results.
