WWE RAW Results: March 30, 2015By Cassidy| March 31, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results One night after his bloody championship match against challenger Roman Reigns ended with Seth Rollins cashing in his Money-in-the-Bank contract and pinning Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship without even being pinned or made to submit, the visibly angry former champion Brock Lesnar kicks off RAW dressed to compete with his advocate, Paul Heyman, by his side. Speaking on behalf of his client, Paul Heyman says that Brock Lesnar did what he said he was going to do when he laid an “ass-beating” on Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. After the fans chant “Suplex City” in reference to his countless suplexes to Roman Reigns, Heyman says that Roman can “sink or swim” on his own, saying that Lesnar “almost respects” Reigns, but Roman has got to have a little ways to go. Heyman continues, saying that Lesnar was ready to finish off Roman Reigns when Seth Rollins rushed in, cashed in his Money-in-the-Bank contract, and pinned the challenger, not the champion, and “scurried away” as the “must undeserving” WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all-time. Heyman then says that his father was a lawyer and he has the ability to use legal action to reverse the decision of last night’s main event, but Heyman says that his client believes that all lawyers are “scumbags”. Heyman continues, saying that Lesnar does not want to use legal action to get his title back because “The Beast” is invoking his rematch clause right here, right now for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! With Brock Lesnar ready for his championship rematch, “The Beast” and Paul Heyman are instead met with the arrival of WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon. With Stephanie favoring her right arm as the crowd chanting “Ronda Rousey” in reference to Stephanie’s run-in with the UFC fighter at WrestleMania, Stephanie reveals that new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has not arrived in the arena yet, but she is sure that Rollins will be up for a title defense. After Stephanie exits, Paul Heyman says that, for the first time in over a decade, Brock Lesnar is going to compete on RAW and Lesnar is going to deliver a “beating” to Seth Rollins, vowing that, by the end of the night, Brock Lesnar will again be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After surviving a seven-man Ladder Match against Dean Ambrose, R-Truth, Luke Harper, Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, & Bad News Barrett at WrestleMania to become the Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career, the new Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan would defend his newly won title against “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler with former champion Bad News Barrett a guest on commentary. At the end of another classic match between Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler that even got a standing ovation from the San Jose crowd, Daniel Bryan scores with the running knee, finally keeping “The Show-Off” down for the three-count, picking up the win and successfully retaining the Intercontinental Title. After the grueling championship match, Bad News Barrett would enter the ring, attacking Daniel Bryan, but before Barrett could level the new Intercontinental Champion with the Bull Hammer Elbow, Sheamus would make his return! “The Celtic Warrior” would make a beeline for the ring as Barrett is narrowly able to escape in time, but just when it appeared as if Sheamus returned to get his hands on Bad News Barrett, Sheamus would turn around and blast Daniel Bryan with the Brogue Kick! Sheamus then preys on the weakened Dolph Ziggler, beating Ziggler down in the corner and, while Dolph would try to fight back, Sheamus would overwhelm “The Show-Off”, slamming Ziggler down with White Noise. Sheamus then sizes Dolph Ziggler up before blasting Ziggler with the Brogue Kick as well! With the fans chanting “you look stupid” at Sheamus’ new look, Sheamus would grab a microphone and simply say “I’m back”. After successfully retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Match against The Usos, The New Day, & Los Matadores on the WrestleMania Kickoff Show, RAW would see WWE Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Tyson Kidd, with Natalya in their corner, team with The Ascension to face The New Day’s Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods, and the debuting team from NXT, The Lucha Dragons, in an 8-Man Tag Match! During the match, dissention would arise between The Ascension and Cesaro & Tyson Kidd when Viktor decides to tag himself into the match and this decision would ultimately cost Viktor’s team the match as Kalisto hits the Salida del Sol, pinning Viktor to pick up the win for his team. Having just received word that Seth Rollins has arrived in the arena, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar would march to the ring with Paul Heyman in tow, ready to challenge new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, with J&J Security in tow, showing no fear towards Brock Lesnar. However, with the match ready to begin, Seth Rollins would exit the ring and grab a microphone. The new champion says that he is feeling kind of “jet-lagged” and his foot hurts from delivering the Curb Stomp to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Rollins then says that he is a “fighting champion” and he is going to give Brock Lesnar his rematch for the title, but it’s just not going to be tonight. Naturally, this does not sit well with “The Beast” as an already angry Brock Lesnar turns it up a notch, jumping out of the ring and getting his hands on the new champion, tossing Seth Rollins to the floor. Lesnar then hits a clothesline on Rollins before Rollins tries to escape, but “The Beast” catches Rollins and throws him into the ring. Brock then goes for a suplex on Rollins in the ring, but Rollins lands on his feet and catches “The Beast” with a kick to the head, but Lesnar is merely angered by the move! Possibly coming to the realization of what he’s faced with, Seth Rollins again tries to hop the barricade and flee, but Brock Lesnar is quick to catch Rollins again. Lesnar then lifts the new champion up for the F-5, but J&J Security pull Seth Rollins off of the shoulders of Lesnar and, as Lesnar takes J&J Security down with a clothesline, Seth Rollins is finally able to create distance between himself and “The Beast”. Unfortunately for the ringside area and its inhabitants, Brock Lesnar still had a lot of pent-up anger left in his system as, without warning, “The Beast” tips over the announce table, knocking down both JBL and Booker T in the process, trapping them under the table! Lesnar then hurls Joey Mercury over the French & Spanish announce table before tossing Jamie Noble into the front of the table. However, Brock Lesnar then begins to take it too far when he puts his hands on Michael Cole, grabbing the commentator and throwing him into the ring. Paul Heyman would try his best to calm “The Beast” down, repeatedly telling Lesnar that Michael Cole didn’t do anything to Lesnar, but the uncontrollable monster would not listen to reason as Lesnar puts Michael Cole on his shoulders, delivering the F-5 to the helpless commentator. Heyman then slides into the ring, begging Brock Lesnar to stop his terrorization, but again, Lesnar would not listen to reason as Brock Lesnar would continue to bully everyone in sight, grabbing a cameraman off of the ring apron and dragging him into the middle of the ring. Before Lesnar can continue his assault, Stephanie McMahon comes out, pleading with Lesnar to stop, saying that his actions are “unnecessary” and Brock will get his rematch. Despite the pleas of both Paul Heyman and Stephanie McMahon, Lesnar would have a big smile on his face before delivering the F-5 to the cameraman. This would change the tone of Stephanie McMahon as Stephanie shouts at Lesnar that his actions have “consequences”, telling Brock Lesnar that he is “suspended indefinitely”! Stephanie then yells at Lesnar to “get out now” before storming off to the backstage area as Paul Heyman tries to calm “The Beast” down in the ring. However, the indefinite suspension does not stop Brock’s reign of terror as Lesnar picks up the motionless cameraman, delivering a second F-5 to the innocent bystander. With a distraught Paul Heyman in tow, Brock Lesnar finally leaves the ring, walking past EMT’s, who bring a stretcher to ringside. EMT’s, referees, and medical personnel then strap Michael Cole onto a backboard outside the ring while the cameraman receives similar care in the ring. Backstage, Renee Young asks Stephanie McMahon about her decision to suspend Brock Lesnar indefinitely with Stephanie saying that Lesnar assaulted WWE employees so she had no choice but to suspend Brock Lesnar. When asked about Brock Lesnar’s contractually-obligated rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Stephanie says that Brock will get his rematch when she says he will get his rematch. Stephanie then says that she needs to hit Brock “where it hurts”, saying that she is going to fine Lesnar for all of the emotional and physical damage he just caused before saying that “The Beast” has already signed a new WWE contract and announced his retirement from MMA, saying “I own that son of a bitch”! With Byron Saxton taking over commentating duties, RAW would roll on as, one night after finally becoming fed up with The Miz, eliminating his boss before coming up just short of winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Damien Mizdow would go one-on-one with Stardust. In the end, it was Damien Mizdow hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on Stardust, pinning Stardust for the win. After the match, The Miz would rush the ring, attacking Mizdow from behind, planting Mizdow with the Skull Crushing Finale before shouting at Mizdow that he is “nothing” without The Miz. After The Lucha Dragons made their RAW debut earlier in the night, another NXT Superstar would arrive on RAW as “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville was set for action against Curtis Axel! However, Axel would try to get the jump on Neville, but Neville would hit a springboard moonsault to Axel on the outside. Neville then rolls Axel into the ring and the match officially gets underway. In a lightning-quick, impressive RAW debut, Neville would dominate Curtis Axel, hitting his one-of-a-kind Red Arrow maneuver off of the top rope on Axel, pinning Axel for the win. One night after doing the seemingly impossible by pinning Rusev in the middle of the ring to win the United States Title at WrestleMania, the brand new United States Champion John Cena would be in action on RAW as “The Champ” would defend his newly acquired gold in an open challenge to any WWE Superstar! Before defending his title, the new United States Champion declares that “The Champ is Here”, saying that he is not out there to try to change any of the fans’ minds and he is not out there to “run away from a fight”. Cena continues, saying that the fans deserve a championship match right here, right now, saying that if anyone in the back “wants some”, they should “come get some”. While everyone expected to see Rusev accept the challenge, another former United States Champion would take Cena up on his open challenge as “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose comes out for the championship match! With Jerry “The King” Lawler joining Byron Saxton on commentary, the United States Championship was on the line on RAW as John Cena would defend the title against Dean Ambrose. Both champion and challenger would give it their absolute all in the match with Dean Ambrose surviving the STF and John Cena kicking out after Dirty Deeds, but John Cena would finally hit the Attitude Adjustment on Dean Ambrose, pinning “The Lunatic Fringe” to successfully retain the United States Title. After the match, Dean Ambrose would slowly get to his feet before slapping hands with John Cena with both men showing great respect for each other after a grueling championship match. After escaping the wrath of the now suspended Brock Lesnar, new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would be interviewed backstage. The new champion says that he hopes that Brock Lesnar gets a “hefty seven-figure fine” before saying that he plans on keeping the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for a very long time. Rollins is then confronted by the man who defeated Seth Rollins before his cash-in at WrestleMania, Randy Orton. Orton says that one of Rollins’ problems was indefinitely suspended, but Rollins has “another problem” staring him right in the face, saying that he never got a rematch from last year’s WrestleMania. Seth Rollins is then flanked by Kane & Big Show before the confident new champion says that he will give “The Viper” until the end of the night to find two partners to face the three of them in a 6-Man Tag Match, telling Orton “good luck”. After defeating The Bella Twins at WrestleMania, Paige & AJ Lee would join forces with Naomi to face The Bella Twins & Natalya in a 6-Diva Tag Match on RAW. During the chaotic match, Nikki Bella would go for a forearm on Naomi, but Naomi would duck and Nikki would inadvertently hit her sister, Brie! Naomi then takes advantage of the miscue, hitting the Rear View on Nikki Bella, pinning the Divas Champion to pick up the win for her team. Backstage, Randy Orton is confronted by Ryback, who says that, when it comes to “feeding time”, one thing that he can’t get enough of is The Authority. Ryback then says that, if Orton is looking for a partner, then “feed me more” before sealing the deal with a handshake. After opting not to take John Cena up on his open challenge for a shot at the United States Title earlier in the night, Rusev was in action on RAW as “The Super Athlete” went one-on-one with Goldust. In the end, it was Rusev locking in the Accolade on Goldust, making Goldust tap out to pick up the win. Then it was time for the main event as the brand new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would team with The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane and the winner of the Second Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Big Show to face “The Viper” Randy Orton, “The Big Guy” Ryback, and a to-be-named teammate in a 6-Man Tag Match and, with Randy Orton & Ryback waiting in the ring, their tag team partner would be a worthy one as Roman Reigns joins the team, clearly wanting a piece of Seth Rollins! During a wild match, Roman Reigns would hit the Superman Punch on Kane before Big Show takes Reigns out with a Spear. Ryback then hoists “The World’s Largest Athlete” up for Shell Shocked before Seth Rollins hits the Curb Stomp on Ryback. Rollins then barely escapes Roman Reigns before Kane grabs Reigns for a chokeslam, but Randy Orton would hit Kane with the RKO and Roman follows this up with the Spear, pinning Kane to pick up the win for his team. The trio then stands tall as a worried Seth Rollins looks on, getting his first taste of what it’s truly like to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. What did you think of this week’s RAW?
