WWE SmackDown Results: February 12, 2015By Cassidy| February 13, 2015 WWE SmackDown Previous Page Detailed Results Before SmackDown officially gets underway, The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane & Big Show are backstage, where they are joined by WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, Los Matadores, Heath Slater & Titus O’Neil, The Ascension, and The Miz & Damien Mizdow. Kane informs the teams that, tonight, there will be a Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the most “dominant” team in WWE before adding that Fastlane opponents Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns will be forced to team up to compete in the multi-team match tonight and they will even be forced to start the match! Kane then says that “anyone” can enter the Tag Team Turmoil Match before saying that all of them have the opportunity to make an “impact”, rallying the teams. The teams then exit as Kane & Big Show have sinister grins on their faces. SmackDown then officially gets underway with the enigmatic Bray Wyatt as “The Eater of Worlds” would go one-on-one with R-Truth to kick off the show. Despite a valiant effort by R-Truth, Bray Wyatt would continue his dominance, blasting R-Truth with a hard clothesline, following it up with Sister Abigail and pinning R-Truth for the win. Ten nights before she challenges Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship at Fastlane, Paige would go one-on-one with Summer Rae on SmackDown with The Bella Twins guests on commentary. In the end, it was Paige locking in the PTO on Summer Rae, making Summer tap out to pick up the win. Even after assaulting his Rosebuds on last week’s SmackDown after he was accidentally dropped, The Exotic Express would still accompany Adam Rose to the ring for his match against Fandango, with Rosa Mendes in his corner. In the end, it was Fandango hitting the Last Dance on Adam Rose, scoring another victory over Rose. After the match, a couple of the Rosebuds would try to console Adam Rose, but Rose would shove his Rosebuds down before storming off to the back. Before they go one-on-one with a spot in the main event of WrestleMania on the line at Fastlane, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns would again be forced by The Authority to team up, this time being forced to enter as the first team in Tag Team Turmoil, where two teams will face each other and, when a team is defeated, another team will come out until all teams have entered the match. The first team that Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns would have to contend with would be The Miz and his personal assistant Damien Mizdow. Throughout the first portion of the match, Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns would aggressively tag in and out of the match with Daniel Bryan paying Roman Reigns back for his actions on RAW by tagging himself into the match, hitting the running knee on The Miz and pinning Miz to advance. With their partnership already falling apart, the second match of Tag Team Turmoil would see Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns face WWE Tag Team Champions and Roman Reigns’ twin cousins, The Usos. During the hard-fought match, Daniel Bryan would take it to both of The Usos, even following both of them to the outside and drill one of them with a barrage of kicks. With the well-being of his cousin in jeopardy, Roman Reigns would aggressively pull Daniel Bryan to the side, telling Bryan that Uso is hurt, but Bryan insists that they have to win. Bryan then tells Roman to never get in his face again, telling Roman that that is how he wins. Bryan then brings the action back into the ring as the match continues with Roman refusing to tag into the match and help Daniel Bryan against his family. A little later on in the match, Jey Uso would have Daniel Bryan pinned, but Roman would pull Uso off of Bryan. Jimmy Uso would take offense to his cousin’s actions and would slap Roman across the face and this would lead to Roman helping Daniel Bryan out with his signature leaping dropkick on the outside. Jey Uso would then dive out of the ring, taking out Roman Reigns, but Daniel Bryan would dive out as well, taking out Jey Uso. In the ring, Jimmy Uso would attempt to dive out of the ring as well, but Roman Reigns would charge back into the ring and level Jimmy with the Superman Punch before Jey comes in and blasts Reigns with a super kick! Jey Uso then catches Daniel Bryan with a super kick, as well, but when Jey goes for the Superfly Splash, Bryan gets his knees up before locking in the Yes Lock, making Jey tap out as Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns advance in Tag Team Turmoil. Even after Jey taps out, Daniel Bryan would not release the hold and Roman Reigns would come in and pull Bryan off of his cousin, leading to another argument between the reluctant teammates. After struggling with The Usos, not to mention each other, Tag Team Turmoil would continue and the shaky team of Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns would face their third tag team of the night, Los Matadores, with El Torito in their corner. Daniel Bryan would single-handedly take care of Los Matadores, making one of the two tap out to the Yes Lock to advance to face their fourth team, Heath Slater & Titus O’Neil. Feeling he had something to prove to Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns would tag himself into the match, taking Titus O’Neil out with the Superman Punch before hitting the Spear on Heath Slater, pinning Slater to advance. Next up for Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns in Tag Team Turmoil was the confident team known as The Ascension. The match would quickly break down as The Ascension would isolate Daniel Bryan on the outside, beating down Bryan before turning their attention to Roman Reigns, pummeling Roman and tossing Reigns over the announce table. Konnor & Viktor then send Daniel Bryan face-first into the steel ring post before sending Roman Reigns into the post as well. The Ascension then bring Daniel Bryan back into the ring, hitting the Fall of Man on Bryan before the referee informs The Ascension that they have been disqualified for their actions! The Ascension then brings Roman Reigns into the ring, but referees rush out to stop the assault before the next team is revealed to be none other than The Authority’s Kane & Big Show! Barely able to stand after going through three tag teams, as well as a vicious beatdown by The Ascension, the weakened Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns would have to face The Authority’s two giants, Kane & Big Show, in Tag Team Turmoil. However, the team of Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns would not be the only team to fall apart as, with Big Show methodically beating Daniel Bryan down, Kane tells Big Show to “finish it”, but Big Show says that he’s having “fun”. This would lead to Kane tagging himself into the match, shouting at Big Show to not lose the match for them. The arguing between Kane & Big Show would allow Daniel Bryan to take advantage, locking in the Yes Lock on Kane. However, Big Show would break it up before tagging himself back into the match, knocking Roman Reigns off of the ring apron before going for the chokeslam on Bryan, but Bryan counters, locking in the Yes Lock on Big Show! This time, it was Kane who breaks it up before screaming at Big Show, who tells Kane to get out of his face. Big Show then turns around, but Kane puts his hands on Big Show, turning Big Show to look at him and Big Show responds by knocking Kane out with the Knockout Punch! This time, when Big Show turns around, he is caught with the Spear by Roman Reigns before Daniel Bryan hits the running knee on Big Show, pinning Big Show as Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns somehow survive five of WWE’s top tag teams, thwarting The Authority’s plans, and finding a way to emerge victorious. Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns then stand together in a sign of mutual respect as the two Fastlane opponents look at the WrestleMania sign, keeping the real goal in perspective.
