WWE SmackDown Results: November 21, 2014By Cassidy| November 22, 2014 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results On what could be his final SmackDown in charge of WWE depending on the outcome of the match between Team Cena and Team Authority at Survivor Series, SmackDown kicks off with WWE COO Triple H, who joins Michael Cole in the ring for an interview. After reminding the COO of what is at stake this Sunday, Michael Cole cautiously tells Triple H that the fans “loath” Triple H and his wife Stephanie, comparing a potential loss by Team Authority to some of the epic moments in sports history. Triple H says that the opinions of the fans does not matter to him, saying that he “appreciates” the fans, but without The Authority, there are no fans. The COO continues, saying that the fans’ displeasure with his decisions is “irrelevant”. Cole then brings up some alleged rumors that Triple H & Stephanie’s “egos” are so out of control that The Authority’s leadership is being called “into question” heading into Survivor Series. Triple H then gets in Cole’s face, saying that life is a “marathon”, not a “sprint” before saying that the talent during the Attitude Era was “incredible”, putting himself alongside the likes of Bret Hart, The Rock, Mick Foley, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, & Stone Cold Steve Austin and saying that they were the “elite”. Triple H then says that the argument could be made that all of those guys were more popular than him during the Attitude Era, but the fact is that they are all “gone” and he is still there. The COO continues, saying that he is “smarter” than those legends and The Authority is a “constant” because they are never going anywhere. Cole then says that, if Team Authority loses this Sunday, then Triple H will also be “gone”, asking the COO what the RAW after Survivor Series will be like if The Authority is no longer in charge. Triple H says that Mr. McMahon is the “greatest mind” in the history of the business and WWE exists today because of his father-in-law, saying that there are only “two people” who can do what Vince McMahon does and that is himself and Stephanie McMahon. Triple H then says that, without The Authority, WWE has “no future”, saying that he would give it about “three months” before they come begging Triple H & Stephanie to come back, referring to a WWE without them as a “sinking ship”. Michael Cole then asks Triple H what will happen if Team Authority wins at Survivor Series and the COO says that, before he shows a clip from Michael Cole’s interview with John Cena this past Wednesday, he would like to have John Cena’s Survivor Series teammates come out to the stage. Triple H then calls for Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Erick Rowan, & Ryback to come out there so that they can hear what their team captain had to say earlier this week and so they can hear his response. The four men come out to the stage before Michael Cole presents a clip of his interview with John Cena where he asked if Cena feels “responsible” for what happens to his teammates at Survivor Series. The clip then shows John Cena answering the question, saying that he is asking his team to, in essence, put their “livelihood” on the line and that, if Team Authority wins this Sunday, then he knows that Triple H & Stephanie will seek “vengeance” on Team Cena and that is why they have to win. After the clip airs, Triple H says that John Cena is asking his team to put it “all on the line” before telling Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Erick Rowan, & Ryback that Cena’s “feelings” better be able to cover everything that they are putting on the line. Triple H then makes the bone-chilling announcement that, “when” Team Cena loses at Survivor Series, then the next night on RAW, every single one of them will be fired! This brings a crushing weight down on the four men, who become visibly nervous as the reality sinks in that they may all be unemployed after Survivor Series. After learning moments earlier that, if he and the rest of Team Cena lose to Team Authority at Survivor Series, then they will be fired, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would go one-on-one with Team Authority member and United States Champion Rusev, with Lana in his corner, in a non-title match. Dolph Ziggler would come closer to anyone to pinning Rusev after hitting the Zig Zag on the United States Champion, but the time it took Ziggler to crawl to the cover would allow Rusev to muster the strength to kick out. Moments later, Rusev would blast “The Show-Off” with a side kick to the face, pinning Dolph for the win. After the match, Rusev would send a message to Team Cena by locking the Accolade in on Dolph, refusing to release the hold until the referee finally gets the big man off of Ziggler. Backstage, The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane is talking with Cesaro as Kane tells “The Swiss Superman” that his loyalty has not gone unnoticed and he will be rewarded greatly after Team Authority wins at Survivor Series. Kane then tells Cesaro that he wants him to do one more favor for The Authority and “slaughter the lamb” that is Erick Rowan. Without hesitation, Cesaro states that he will do just that, proclaiming “long live The Authority”. Before they join WWE Tag Team Champions Gold & Stardust and The Usos in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles at Survivor Series, The Miz & Damien Mizdow would face Los Matadores, with El Torito in their corner, with Gold & Stardust and The Usos guests on commentary. During the match, Los Matadores would launch The Miz into The Usos at ringside and, doing his stunt double duty, Damien Mizdow launches himself into Gold & Stardust! Shortly after this, Diego hits a high cross body on The Miz, pinning Miz for the win. With a battle against Bray Wyatt awaiting him come Survivor Series, “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose would appear on SmackDown to present his “survival kit”. Ambrose says that he has proven that he is a “survivor” and he will continue to survive no matter who stands in his way. Ambrose then says that he is a “walking survival kit” and, if Bray Wyatt wants to survive this Sunday, all he needs to do is “run”. Ambrose continues, saying that, now, he is the “hunter” and Wyatt is the “prey”, vowing that Wyatt will be “put down” at Survivor Series. Bray Wyatt then appears on the big screen from inside a jail cell, asking if his presence in the jail cell reminds Ambrose of his father. Wyatt then says that Dean’s father gave him life and then left him alone to “rot” in it, saying that an existence in a prison of his own doing is what awaits Dean Ambrose in his “future”. Bray continues, saying that they could have ruled the world, but Ambrose changed all of that so, now, he is going to leave that cell and leave Dean drowning just like Ambrose’s father did, saying that it “never ends”. After having to endure Brie Bella impersonating her on RAW, Divas Champion AJ Lee would appear on SmackDown dressed as #1 Contender Nikki Bella as AJ would go one-on-one with Brie Bella, with the real Nikki Bella in her corner, in a non-title match. During the match, Nikki Bella would get on the ring apron and AJ Lee would shove Brie Bella into her sister, knocking Nikki off of the apron while AJ rolls up Brie to pick up the win. In a match made earlier in the night by Director of Operations Kane, Team Cena member Erick Rowan would go one-on-one with an associate of The Authority, “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro. In an impressive outing from a mysterious monster, Erick Rowan would hoist Cesaro on his back, applying the Torture Rack to “The Swiss Superman”, making Cesaro tap out to pick up the win. After the match, Erick Rowan’s former Wyatt Family brother Luke Harper makes his way to ringside as the Intercontinental Champion teases a fight with Erick Rowan before ultimately backing off with a smile on his face. Then it was time for the main event as Team Cena members “The Big Guy” Ryback and “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would face the captain of Team Authority, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, and The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane, with Seth Rollins’ personal security in their corner with Dolph Ziggler & Erick Rowan banned from ringside. During the match, with Ryback & Big Show in control of the match, WWE COO Triple H would make his way to ringside, followed by Team Authority members Mark Henry, Rusev, & Luke Harper. Later on in the match, Ryback was set to finish the match when Team Authority attacks a weakened Big Show at ringside, resulting in the disqualification. With the match now over, Ryback would take out Seth Rollins’ personal security before drilling Rollins with a spinebuster before the personal security is able to take Ryback down. However, this brings Dolph Ziggler to the ring and, while Dolph is able to take out the personal security, Ziggler is floored with a big boot from Luke Harper, but with his former tag partner standing in the ring, Erick Rowan makes his way to the ring, taking out both Mark Henry and Rusev on his way. Rowan then stands toe-to-toe with Harper, but before the confrontation could turn physical, Kane enters the ring and drops Rowan with a chokeslam. Ryback then plants Kane with a spinebuster, but is taken out with a big clothesline from Luke Harper. Dolph Ziggler then takes Harper out with the Zig Zag before Rusev blasts Dolph with a huge kick, followed up with the World’s Strongest Slam by Mark Henry. Things then looked dire for Team Cena as Team Authority had a clear advantage, but a fire-breathing giant would make the save as an angry Big Show makes his way back into the ring where he is immediately swarmed by Team Authority. However, “The World’s Largest Athlete” manages to knock Team Authority to the side before grabbing both members of Seth Rollins’ personal security team and dropping them with a double chokeslam. However, this would cause Triple H to get his hands dirty as the COO enters the ring with a steel chair, knocking Big Show down to one knee with two vicious chair shots. Seth Rollins is quick to capitalize on the situation as “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” spikes Big Show with the Curb Stomp. With chair in hand, Triple H would take matters into his own hands as the COO first blasts Ryback with a chair shot to the back followed by a pair of chair shots to Dolph Ziggler, a third shot to Big Show, and repeated chair shots to Erick Rowan. Clearly having gone over the edge, Triple H would continue to destroy each member of Team Cena with the steel chair, repeatedly jabbing every member of the team with the weapon. Team Authority then drags Ryback to the center of the ring as the COO methodically delivers two vile chair shots to “The Big Guy” before Team Authority picks Ryback up as Triple H screams at Ryback that he is “done” before Team Authority feeds Ryback to Triple H, who emphatically plants Ryback with the Pedigree in the middle of the ring. Triple H then stands tall with Team Authority, making it undoubtedly clear that he will do whatever it takes to win come Survivor Series. What did you think of this week’s SmackDown?
