WWE RAW Results: November 3, 2014By Cassidy| November 4, 2014 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results RAW kicks off with an unexpected surprise as WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon bring a very special guest to the ring with them, none other than WWE CEO & Chairman Mr. McMahon, who appears live on RAW for the first time in months! The Chairman proposes that they “raise the stakes” at Survivor Series, saying that, in the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match between Team Cena and Team Authority, if Team Authority loses, The Authority will no longer be in charge! McMahon then suggests that they discuss this possible stipulation before the Chairman and The Authority exit the ring where Mr. McMahon is greeted by Dean Ambrose, who shakes hands with “The Lunatic Fringe” before Ambrose enters the ring for his upcoming match. Backstage, The Authority is seeing Mr. McMahon off as McMahon tells his daughter and son-in-law that he likes “surprises”. The Chairman says that he can count on them and Triple H says that, at this point, nothing surprises him when it comes to McMahon and McMahon says that they seem kind of “underappreciated”, but it comes with the territory. Triple H says that they have things under control before Stephanie tells her father to have a safe trip home, again saying that they have things under control. After Mr. McMahon gets in his limo and the car pulls away, Stephanie shows a bit of concern to her husband before suggesting they go and discuss what the Chairman had to say. After defeating Cesaro in the unique Trick or Street Fight on SmackDown, the opening match of the night would see “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose square off with “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro on RAW. During the match, the lights would go out in the arena and, when the lights came back on, Bray Wyatt was seated on the stage in his signature rocking chair as the match continued. At the end of a grueling match, it was Dean Ambrose spiking Cesaro with Dirty Deeds, pinning Cesaro for the win. Dean Ambrose would then turn his gaze to Bray Wyatt, but that is when the lights would go out again and, when they came back on, Bray was gone, leaving only the eerie rocking chair. Backstage, Stephanie McMahon tells Triple H that they cannot let Mr. McMahon see them sweat, saying that they need the strongest team they can possibly get. This prompts Triple H to begin calling Randy Orton and, despite Stephanie reminding her husband that Orton is the guy who dropped Seth Rollins with the RKO last week, Triple H says that, if they need the “strongest” team, then they need Randy Orton. After The Usos pulled a switch behind the referee’s back in tag team action against The Miz & Damien Mizdow on last week’s RAW, The Miz would be looking to avenge the loss as the self-proclaimed “A-Lister”, with his stunt double Damien Mizdow in his corner, would go one-on-one with Jimmy Uso, with Jey Uso in his corner. During the match, Damien Mizdow would try to get in the ring, briefly distracting Jimmy Uso. After Jey Uso takes the stunt double out with a super kick, Jimmy Uso would get caught by The Miz in the ring as Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Jimmy Uso, pinning Uso for the win. Before he defends the United States Championship against Rusev in a WWE Network-exclusive match following RAW, Sheamus was in action on RAW as the United States Champion would face Tyson Kidd, with Natalya in his corner, in a non-title match. During the match, the action would spill to the outside and Tyson Kidd would use his wife as a shield, halting Sheamus long enough for Tyson Kidd to slide back into the ring as the referee reaches his ten-count, giving Kidd the win by count-out. After the match, Sheamus would get a measure of revenge, blasting Tyson Kidd with the Brogue Kick. With Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler ready for action on RAW, he is ‘greeted’ by the arrival of The Authority as WWE COO Triple H, WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon, Director of Operations Kane, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, and Rollins’ personal security all make their way to the ring. Stephanie claims that they are “ecstatic” about the stipulation added to the match between Team Cena and Team Authority at Survivor Series. Stephanie then reveals that Seth Rollins & Kane will captain Team Authority and she is confident that Team Authority will be the “strongest” team in history. Triple H then whispers something to his wife, prompting Stephanie to announce that Randy Orton will also be on Team Authority! Triple H then addresses Dolph Ziggler, telling Dolph that he is free to do what he wants, but says that, if Team Cena wins at Survivor Series, then John Cena will take all of the credit for his team’s victory. Triple H continues, asking what would happen if Team Cena loses, alleging that Cena would refuse to take the blame for the loss in favor of blaming Ziggler. Stephanie then brings up the absence of John Cena and Triple H says that Cena is not even there for Dolph Ziggler. Triple H continues, telling Dolph Ziggler that, if he tells Cena “no”, then Dolph can write his own “ticket”, saying that they can give Ziggler whatever he wants. The Intercontinental Champion then emphatically tells Triple H that what he wants is for The Authority to be put out of power and he wants to see all of them gone! Triple H responds by saying that it is “too bad”, saying that when the fans want to be angry about what happens, they can blame it all on Dolph Ziggler. The COO then says that Ziggler could easily find himself “empty-handed” and it could happen sooner than later. With that, Triple H makes an impromptu title match, forcing Dolph Ziggler to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Seth Rollins! Triple H then wishes Dolph Ziggler luck, saying Dolph will need it. Per the orders of The Authority, Dolph Ziggler would be forced to defend the Intercontinental Championship in an impromptu match against “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, with his personal security in his corner. During the match, Jamie Noble would distract the referee while Joey Mercury hangs Dolph Ziggler up on the top rope. A few moments later, Seth Rollins would hit the Curb Stomp on Dolph Ziggler, but before Rollins could take advantage, Randy Orton rushes the ring, hitting his Survivor Series teammate with the RKO! Orton then exits the ring, walking past an angry Kane as Kane makes his way to the ring, helping “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” to his feet. Backstage, Randy Orton confronts Triple H & Stephanie McMahon, demanding a match against Seth Rollins tonight, but Stephanie says that they are not going to have their “co-captains” fight each other. Orton says that he might be better fighting for another team, but Triple H gets in Orton’s face, saying that he needs Orton on Team Authority and he also needs Seth Rollins. The COO then tells Orton that they are all in it together, saying that he needs “The Viper” at Survivor Series. Triple H then grants Orton his match against Rollins, saying that they are going to get their aggression out of their systems and, after the match, they will help each other up and they will go on to Survivor Series and they will win. Orton then shakes the hand of Triple H as both men agree to the terms. “The Big Guy” was in action on RAW as Ryback would go one-on-one with Titus O’Neil. In the end, it was Ryback dropping Titus O’Neil with Shell Shocked, pinning Titus to pick up an impressive win. After turning his back on Big Show last week, hitting three World’s Strongest Slams on Big Show and sending him through the ringside barricade, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry would face the wrath of “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show as the two behemoths would collide on RAW. After the World’s Strongest Slam failed to keep Big Show down for the three-count, Mark Henry would resort to using the steel steps, blasting Big Show with the heavy steps on the outside for the blatant disqualification. Mark Henry then drags the larger bottom half of the steel steps into position before retrieving Big Show, planting “The World’s Largest Athlete” with the World’s Strongest Slam right on the steel! With Divas Champion AJ Lee a guest on commentary, the new #1 Contender for the Divas Title, Nikki Bella, with Brie Bella in her corner, would face Emma on RAW. In the end, it was Nikki Bella hitting the Rack Attack on Emma, pinning Emma for the win. After the match, Nikki Bella would force her sister, Brie, to raise her hand in victory before giving Brie further instructions. With no other choice, Brie Bella would exit the ring and slap the Divas Champion on her sister’s behalf! Realizing that it was Nikki Bella who made the call, AJ Lee shoves Brie down before rushing the ring, but Nikki Bella makes a quick retreat, leaving an angry AJ in the ring. Before he challenges Sheamus for the United States Championship in a WWE Network-exclusive match after RAW, Rusev was in action on RAW as “The Hero of the Russian Federation”, with Lana in his corner, would go one-on-one with Zack Ryder. In the end, it was another dominant victory for Rusev as Rusev locks in the Accolade, making Zack Ryder tap out to pick up the win. After the match, Rusev proclaims that he is going to “annihilate” Sheamus, but the United States Champion comes out, telling Rusev that he is in for the fight of his life. After picking up an upset victory over Gold & Stardust on SmackDown, Los Matadores’ Fernando, with Diego & El Torito in his corner, would go one-on-one with one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Stardust, with Goldust in his corner with The Miz & Damien Mizdow guests on commentary. During the match, Diego would pull Goldust off of the ring apron and Goldust would respond by shoving Diego into the steel steps. However, El Torito would then deliver a dropkick to Goldust, inadvertently knocking Goldust into The Miz at ringside. This would spark an argument on the outside and, with Stardust’s attention on the outside, Fernando would hit the Back Stabber on Stardust, pinning Stardust for the win. With Triple H & Stephanie McMahon seated at ringside and Director of Operations Kane standing nearby, it was time for the main event between Team Authority teammates as “The Viper” Randy Orton would go one-on-one with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, with his personal security in his corner. During the match, the action would spill to the outside right in front of The Authority and, as Seth Rollins rolls back into the ring, Randy Orton clears off the announce table before the match resumes in the ring. At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Seth Rollins countering an attempted RKO by Randy Orton into a backslide, surprising “The Viper” and picking up the win! After the match, Seth Rollins celebrates his victory with Kane and his personal security as Randy Orton pulls himself to his feet. Orton then confronts Triple H at ringside, asking the COO what Triple H would have him do. Orton then does his best to swallow his pride, shaking hands with Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury, and Kane before coming face-to-face with the man who just defeated him, Seth Rollins, who extends his hand and tells “The Viper” that he is “sorry”. Orton then accepts the handshake and all appears to well with The Authority for a moment before “The Viper” strikes again, planting Seth Rollins with the RKO! As Triple H blows a gasket on the outside, Orton tosses Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury out of the ring, followed shortly by Kane. With “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” in perfect position, Orton is set to punt Seth Rollins in the skull, but Triple H makes the bold move to get into the ring as the COO steps in front of Randy Orton, refusing to let Orton carry out his attack on Seth Rollins. Orton would repeatedly try to go after members of The Authority, but Triple H would order Kane, Noble, & Mercury to back off as COO struggles to keep “The Viper” under control, trying to talk Orton down. “The Viper” would then shove his way past Triple H, but when Triple H grabs Orton’s arm, Orton would deck the COO! Kane, Noble, & Mercury then flood the ring and Orton is able to hold his own, but “The Viper” is finally floored with an uppercut by Kane! With Randy Orton clearly choosing to fight against The Authority, Kane, Noble, & Mercury would put the boots to Orton, but Orton would fight back, knocking all three men out of the ring before setting his sights on Seth Rollins at ringside. Orton would hammer “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” with right hands and, when Joey Mercury tries to stop the fight, he is met with an RKO on the arena floor! Orton then continues to pummel Rollins until Kane and Jamie Noble manage to pull Orton off of Rollins. However, what Kane & Noble didn’t realize was that they had inadvertently put Orton in a very dangerous position and this would prompt Seth Rollins to take advantage of the situation as Rollins delivers the Curb Stomp to Randy Orton, planting Orton skull-first on the exposed announce table! With Orton bloody and laid out on the table, Triple H calls off Kane, Noble, & Rollins before having a conversation with Stephanie. While this conversation is going on, a barely conscious Randy Orton crawls towards Triple H, lying at the COO’s feet. Stephanie then audibly tells her husband to “finish this” with Triple H reluctantly telling the other members of The Authority to “finish it”. As Triple H & Stephanie walk to the back, refusing to be there for what The Authority is about to do, Orton is dragged on top of the steel steps and with the bloody Orton struggling to even move, Seth Rollins would stretch his arms outwards in a mockery of “The Viper” before leaping off of the announce table and smashing Orton’s bloody skull into the steel steps with a sickening Curb Stomp. Seth Rollins then stands over the motionless Randy Orton, showing no remorse for his actions as Triple H & Stephanie McMahon watch from the stage before turning their backs and exiting.
