WWE RAW Results: November 24, 2014By Cassidy| November 25, 2014 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results RAW kicks off with the former couple in charge of WWE as, one night removed from an epic Survivor Series that saw the debut of Sting, who brought an end to their iron grip on WWE, the show opens with Triple H & Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says that none of the fans understand what it is like to be a “leader” and they do not know how to “accept responsibility” for their actions. Stephanie continues, saying that Team Authority would have won at Survivor Series if it wasn’t for Sting and, because of Sting, The Authority is out of power. Stephanie then reminds everyone that the only person who can bring them back to power as, per the declaration of Mr. McMahon, John Cena is the only person who can grant them their power, saying that at least they still have each other. Triple H says that the fans love to see them “humbled” and they love to see Stephanie cry, calling the fans “bullies”. Triple H then tells the fans to be careful what they wish for because he knows that there is no one in WWE who can handle the power that they used to have. Triple H continues, saying that, to succeed, WWE needs a leader that will do what is “best for business” and not what’s “popular”. Triple H then addresses Sting, saying that he doesn’t know why Sting stuck his “painted face” in their business, saying that maybe Sting just wanted to be in the ring with Triple H for thirty seconds so he could feel “relevant” again. Triple H then says that Sting’s first night in a WWE ring will be his “last” because Sting’s actions at Survivor Series ensured the “demise” of WWE, giving WWE two or three weeks before it goes under. Triple H continues, saying that they had more “responsibility” than Sting or the fans could possibly fathom and that the things they did for the fans, good or bad, is what they had to do to make WWE “thrive”. Triple H then says that, while they look at The Authority as a “grotesque” existence, they are a necessary evil required to make sure that WWE stays in business, asking who is going to make the important decisions now. A livid Triple H then declares that, without The Authority, there is no John Cena, there is no Dolph Ziggler, and there are no fans! Taking a calmer, more sarcastic approach, Triple H asks the fans what they’re going to do on Monday nights when RAW no longer exists, saying that they are going to sit on their couch and “wallow” in their own “personal failures”. Triple H then sarcastically tells the fans to cheer because they are going to leave now, but they will “beg” for them to come back. Things then get even worse for The Authority as one of the biggest thorns in the side of The Authority during their time in control of WWE makes a surprise appearance as former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring with a big smile on his face! Daniel Bryan then rubs it in the face of The Authority by chanting “yes” in Triple H & Stephanie’s face, even repeatedly standing in their path on the ramp and chanting in their face with the fans chanting along! With The Authority now gone, in more ways than one, a gleeful Daniel Bryan says it feels good to be back before revealing that, tonight, he has been put in charge of RAW! Bryan then says that, just because Team Authority lost at Survivor Series, does not mean that they are “bad people” as the former World Champion calls the entire team out to the stage. Reluctantly, the captain of Team Authority Seth Rollins, Director of Operations Kane, Mark Henry, Rusev, & Luke Harper all come out to the stage. Bryan says that he is not a “spiteful man” and he is not going to strip them of any of their titles or put them in unfair matches because he is a “fair man”. Bryan first addresses Seth Rollins, saying that “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” is used to being in Handicap Matches, teaming Rollins up with two unnamed Superstars to face John Cena & Dolph Ziggler. Seth Rollins then interrupts Bryan, saying that, like it or not, he is still the “future” of WWE, asking who Daniel Bryan is going to team him up with. Bryan then reveals that the fans will get to vote who will team up with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank”, giving the fans the option of either Luke Harper & Mark Henry, Kane & Mark Henry, or “Option C”, which Daniel Bryan reveals after asking Seth Rollins to step to the side, saying that the third potential team is Rollins’ personal security, Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury! Seth Rollins immediately takes issue with this, saying that they are not even “real security”, but correcting himself after getting sideways glances from Noble & Mercury, saying that they are “just security”. Daniel Bryan tells Rollins that life isn’t fair and the show must go on, telling Rollins to “step aside”. Seth Rollins then storms to the back with Noble & Mercury before Daniel Bryan addresses his former tag team partner and rival Kane, saying that if their anger management doctor could see Kane now, he would think that Kane has went a little “off the path” becoming the Director of Operations. Daniel Bryan then says that, if he was in charge, then Kane would not even be the Director of Operations, but then Bryan remembers that he is in charge. Bryan then says that Kane is no longer going to be the Director of Operations, giving Kane the new job title of “Director of Food & Beverage” and saying that, instead of being referred to as “Corporate Kane”, he will now be “Concessions Kane”. Daniel Bryan then has a vender bring “Concessions Kane” a tray of popcorn and hot dogs to sell as Bryan sends a disgruntled Kane to the back to get set up for his new job. Daniel Bryan then turns his attention to United States Champion Rusev & Lana, saying that, as the United States Champion, Rusev should be more “patriotic”. Bryan then says that Rusev has a choice of either competing in a “company-wide battle royal” where every single Superstar in WWE will compete with the winner walking out as the United States Champion or Rusev can come down to the ring and, with a giant American flag in the background, Rusev must recite the Pledge of Allegiance of the United States of America! With a decision to make, Rusev & Lana storm off to the back as Daniel Bryan addresses Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper, saying that Harper needs a good opponent to defend the Intercontinental Title against tonight, putting Harper in a title match against Dean Ambrose! Luke Harper then heads to the back and Mark Henry tries to follow Harper, but Daniel Bryan calls Mark Henry back to the stage, saying that he was confronted by “The Big Guy” backstage, who requested a match with Mark Henry and Bryan granted his request, so, tonight, “The World’s Strongest Man” will go one-on-one with Ryback! Daniel Bryan then does his best impersonation of Mark Henry by saying, “that’s what I do”! Bryan then adds that the match is going to start right now. With a scheduled match against Ryback about to take place, Mark Henry starts to make his way to the ring when he is ambushed by Ryback on the entrance ramp. “The Big Guy” slams Mark Henry into the steel ring post and the barricade before referees rush out to separate the two big men. With both men in the ring and in opposite corners, Mark Henry assures the referee that he is ready to compete, so the match officially gets underway. However, the pre-match assault would make for an easy win as Ryback blasts Mark Henry with the Meat Hook Clothesline, pinning “The World’s Strongest Man” for the win. Backstage, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon are confronted by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, who says that he is “disappointed” in them. McMahon says that he put “insurmountable odds” in front of them because that is what they will be faced with in the corporate world, saying that they “failed” him. The Chairman then tells Triple H & Stephanie that, somehow, they are going to “fix” things. Stephanie tells her father that she is “sorry” and McMahon says that he has “never been sorry” for anything he has done, but the only thing he might be “sorry” for is having to spend Thanksgiving with the two of them before the Chairman gets in his limo with his daughter and son-in-law, which drives out of the arena. In a match made by Daniel Bryan, the bearded monster known as Luke Harper would defend his newly won Intercontinental Title against “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose, three weeks before Ambrose faces Harper’s former leader Bray Wyatt in a TLC Match at WWE TLC. During the match, Dean Ambrose would have complete control of the match, but when Luke Harper felt the Intercontinental Title slipping away, the champion would show his desperation. After trying to walk out on the match failed, Luke Harper would resort to shoving Dean Ambrose into the referee, who had no choice but to call for the disqualification! With the match over, Luke Harper would catch Ambrose with a big boot, but Ambrose would fight back, bringing a steel chair into the ring and planting Harper skull-first into the steel with Dirty Deeds. However, Ambrose was far from done as, in a clear message to his WWE TLC opponent, Dean Ambrose would slide a ladder and a table in the ring, but before Ambrose’s plan could come to fruition, Bray Wyatt would ambush “The Lunatic Fringe” at ringside. Bray would take Ambrose out with Sister Abigail on the arena floor before picking Ambrose up and tossing him over the announce table, getting his payback from Survivor Series by burying Ambrose under a pile of steel chairs before standing on top of the announce table with a smile on his face. After losing the WWE Tag Team Titles in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Match at Survivor Series, Gold & Stardust would get their chance to regain the gold as the bizarre brothers would challenge the new champions The Miz & Damien Mizdow for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Early in the match, The Miz would go down with an injury, spending almost the entire match on the outside being checked on by WWE’s ringside physician, leaving Damien Mizdow to combat Gold & Stardust on his own. Mizdow would more than hold his own throughout the match, but when an opportunity presented itself, The Miz would reveal himself to be a fraud as Miz tags himself into the match, hitting the Skull Crushing Finale and pinning Stardust to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles for himself and his stunt double. Being given a choice by Daniel Bryan earlier in the night to either defend the United States Title in a battle royal featuring every capable WWE Superstar in the company or sing the Pledge of Allegiance of the United States of America, United States Champion Rusev, with Lana by his side, would appear on RAW. Lana complains that “America is not fair”, asking what kind of country forces its will upon its people. Lana then hands the microphone off to Rusev, who says that he does not care who is in charge of RAW, he’s not going to be “brainwashed” by any “dumb Americans” before Rusev instructs Lana that they are leaving! However, the man in charge for the night, Daniel Bryan, appears on the big screen, reminding Rusev that, if he does not sing the Pledge of Allegiance, then he can always make Rusev defend the United States Title in a battle royal against the entire WWE roster. Bryan then says that he is going to give Rusev & Lana another chance and, to make sure that it’s done right, he is going to have someone “supervise” their rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance. With that, WWE Hall of Famer and proud patriot Sgt. Slaughter makes his way to the ring and, as WWE’s resident drill sergeant, “Sarge” walks Rusev & Lana through the Pledge of Allegiance. Though it crushes her to do so, Lana reluctantly recites the Pledge of Allegiance along with Sgt. Slaughter and the WWE fans, but when Slaughter gets to the “to the United States of America” part of the Pledge, Rusev does not allow Lana to finish. Rusev then instructs Lana to exit the ring as Rusev gets in the face of the Hall of Famer, but the former WWE Champion refuses to back down. However, before something truly terrible could be done to the legend, Jack Swagger makes a beeline for the ring with Zeb Colter not far behind. Rusev dominates Swagger early on, but “The Real American” fights back, slamming the United States Champion before locking in the Patriot Lock. However, Rusev is narrowly able to escape the ring and, with all three men not taking their eyes off of the transplanted Russians, Swagger, Colter, & Slaughter proclaim, “We the people”. After making his return on the Survivor Series Kickoff, the “new and improved” Fandango, with new dance partner Rosa Mendes in his corner, was in action on RAW as Fandango squared off with Justin Gabriel. In the end, it was Fandango hitting the leg drop off of the top rope, pinning Justin Gabriel for the win. After turning his back on Team Cena and forging an alliance with The Authority by knocking John Cena out at Survivor Series, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would appear on RAW to explain his actions. Big Show makes his way to the ring, saying that the general consensus is that what he did at Survivor Series makes him a “bad guy”. Big Show says that is not a bad guy, he is a “human being” who made a “mistake”, saying that none of them can honestly say that they have never made a mistake in their lives. Big Show continues, saying that The Authority made him do horrible things to people that he “respects” before the emotional giant says that he has a “medical condition” that makes him a giant. Big Show then says that, on the inside, he’s got “feelings” and he’s just trying to provide for his family just like any of them would do, saying that he made a “snap decision” to betray John Cena. Big Show says that, at that point in the match, he thought his team was going to lose and, if they were able to put themselves in his shoes, then they might be able to forgive him. Big Show continues, saying that they come to a show and they want to “cheer” and “boo”, but now is not the time for that, saying that if he could go back in time, he would not have done what he did. Big Show then says that he doesn’t want to sound like a “jerk”, but he has been putting his body on the line for them for the last twenty years and they owe him a “mulligan”, suggesting that they just “forget” what happened at Survivor Series and move on. However, the “you sold out” chants from the crowd change the expression on Big Show’s face and the tone in his voice as Big Show takes offense to the fans judgment of him, saying that they have “nothing on the line”. Big Show then says that his livelihood was on the line and he is not a “traitor”, he is Big Show and he “deserves respect”. Big Show continues, saying that there are “cowards” in the locker room who whisper about him behind his back, daring anyone in the locker room to come out and call him a “traitor” to his face! However, the man that comes out puts a smile on Big Show’s face as the unusual, sheep mask-wearing Erick Rowan makes his way towards the ring. Big Show laughs at the prospect of Erick Rowan having something to say, calling Rowan an “upside down Sheamus”, saying that at least if John Cena came out there, Cena would have a “legitimate gripe”. Continuing to mock the big man, Big Show does his best childlike voice, saying that Rowan is real “tough guy” before taking a more serious tone and telling Rowan that the WWE ring is made for “men”. The seemingly childlike Rowan then removes his sheep mask, looking perplexed as Big Show tells Rowan to go back up the ramp before he gets “hurt”. However, instead of heeding Big Show’s advice, Erick Rowan grabs the microphone and tells Big Show that he doesn’t like “bullies”. Rowan then drops the microphone and unloads on Big Show, dropping the giant with a big wheel kick. An angry Big Show then rolls out of the ring, screaming at Rowan that he just sealed his fate, but Big Show would storm to the back, not wanting anymore of Erick Rowan. Backstage, J&J Security confront Seth Rollins, excited about the prospect of being “Shield 2.0”, but Rollins sets Noble & Mercury straight, saying that they don’t exactly “measure up” to his other potential tag team partners. Dolph Ziggler then enters the locker room, telling Noble & Mercury that Rollins may not believe in them, but he does and he asked 1.4 million Twitter followers to vote for them to be Rollins’ tag partners, which puts a smile on the faces of J&J Security. After a kiss from Brie Bella sealed AJ Lee’s fate at Survivor Series, Brie would be accompanied by her sister and new Divas Champion Nikki Bella as she was scheduled to go one-on-one with former champion AJ Lee. However, before the match, AJ Lee sarcastically congratulates Nikki Bella on turning her life’s work into a “shiny new accessory”. Cleverly telling Brie “lesbihonest”, AJ Lee says that Brie proved that she is an even bigger “skank” than her sister! With the new Divas Champion Nikki Bella at ringside, the match would then get underway. Early on in the match, the action would spill to the outside, where an errant clothesline from AJ Lee would knock down Nikki Bella. Later on in the match, Nikki Bella would wait until the referee’s back was turned before pulling AJ Lee’s arm over the top rope, allowing Brie to take advantage as Brie rolls AJ up for the win. After the match, AJ Lee tells The Bella Twins that it takes two of them to be the Divas Champion, but even both of them are not half the woman that she is! AJ Lee then says that if they want to “cheat” and kiss their way to victory, then it’s about time that someone breaks it to The Bella Twins that “talent is not sexually transmitted”! In a bizarre Mixed Tag Match, Adam Rose & The Bunny would face Tyson Kidd & Natalya. During the match, The Bunny would mistakenly trip Adam Rose and this would lead to Tyson Kidd rolling Adam Rose up for the win. After the match, The Bunny would try to explain himself to Adam Rose. Backstage, Ryback heads to the concession stand where “Concessions Kane” is running things and, after Ryback asks for unusual items like tuna and protein shakes, Kane informs “The Big Guy” that they don’t serve anything like that, throwing a hot dog at Ryback’s face. Ryback responds by shoving the concession table into Kane and squirting Kane with ketchup before Kane storms off and Ryback throws a package of peanuts at the Director of Food & Beverage! Then it was time for the main event as, per the orders of Daniel Bryan, John Cena would team with “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler to face “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins and two tag team partners that would be determined by the WWE fans in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match. Before the match, Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring, shaking hands with John Cena & Dolph Ziggler before taking it upon himself to introduce “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins. Daniel Bryan then reveals the results of the poll to determine Rollins’ tag team partners as J&J Security receive a whopping 93% of the votes! Despite battling in their suits, the 3-on-2 Handicap Match would get underway and, throughout the match, Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury would try their best, but the ring rust definitely showed on J&J Security. However, the bumbling Noble & Mercury would prove to be more dangerous to themselves than their opponents, repeatedly running into each other and, in the end, it was John Cena putting Joey Mercury down with the Attitude Adjustment while Dolph Ziggler took out Jamie Noble with the Zig Zag as Cena pins Mercury to pick up the win as Seth Rollins watched from the ramp. However, Seth Rollins would not be immune from the payback as Daniel Bryan comes from behind Rollins, tossing him into the ring where he is blasted with a super kick by Dolph Ziggler and put down with the Attitude Adjustment by John Cena! Daniel Bryan then join John Cena & Dolph Ziggler in celebrating in the ring when a familiar chime rings throughout the arena signifying the return of the Anonymous RAW General Manager! Much to the dismay of JBL & Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole happily gets out of his seat to read an email from the Anonymous GM. Cole reads that next week is Cyber Monday and that means that “order and discipline” returns to Monday Night RAW! What did you think of this week’s RAW? Post your comments in the box below.
