WWE RAW Results: November 10, 2014By Cassidy| November 11, 2014 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results With just two weeks to go until Survivor Series, the team captain for Team Cena in the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match against Team Authority, who will put their control of WWE on the line, kicks off RAW as John Cena opens the show. Cena says that The Authority is doing everything they can to scare everyone from being on Team Cena, saying that, last week, Randy Orton took a stand against The Authority and they took him out indefinitely. Cena then reveals that he has found two guys who will proudly stand by his side and combat Team Authority at Survivor Series and the first guy is Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler while the other is none other than former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger! Cena says that there is one man who is not afraid of anyone and that man is his opponent tonight, Ryback. Cena says that Ryback has been held down by The Authority and, before they face each other later tonight, he wants to talk “business” with Ryback. This brings out “The Big Guy” Ryback, who is only able to proclaim that “the big guy is back” before he interrupted by the arrival of The Authority as WWE COO Triple H, WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon, Director of Operations Kane, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, and Rollins’ personal security come out to the stage. However, they were not alone as The Authority makes way for the newest addition to Team Authority, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry! The Authority then makes their way to the ring to confront John Cena and Ryback. Triple H openly admits that he is going to put the “fear of god” into everyone in the back because he is their “god”, saying that the “game has changed”. Triple H asks who is going to have the guts to join Team Cena knowing that it is “career suicide” while The Authority has proven time and time again that The Authority never loses. Triple H then says that Team Cena member Dolph Ziggler will not even make it to Survivor Series as, tonight, Dolph will go one-on-one with Team Authority member Mark Henry. Stephanie then says that, if Ryback were to join Team Authority, then he can imagine how many main event matches he would get. Stephanie says that Ryback has the potential to be the “biggest monster” that WWE has ever seen with Triple H promising Ryback “more” of anything he wants. Cena says that, if Ryback is as good as he says he is, then he will let the fans decide his fate because, if they want Ryback, they will make it very clear. Ryback then speaks for himself, saying that he is “not afraid” of The Authority, but he also doesn’t see John Cena’s name on the bottom of his paycheck. With that, Ryback picks Cena up and plants Cena with a spinebuster before storming out of the ring, making the statement that he will be on Team Authority come Survivor Series! The opening match of the night would see Team Cena member Jack Swagger, with Zeb Colter in his corner, going one-on-one with Team Authority captain Seth Rollins, with his personal security in his corner. During the match, Jack Swagger would have the Patriot Lock locked in on Seth Rollins on the outside, but Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury would distract Swagger long enough for Rollins to take advantage. Rollins would send Swagger face-first into the steel ring post before rolling Swagger back into the ring and planting “The Real American” with the Curb Stomp, pinning Swagger to pick up the win. After the match, WWE’s ringside doctor would enter the ring to check on Jack Swagger, but Rollins’ personal security would keep the doctor back while Rollins plants Swagger with another Curb Stomp! After threatening Zeb Colter, Rollins and his personal security would finally exit the ring. Backstage, Director of Operations Kane welcomes Ryback to Team Authority, saying that Ryback’s match against John Cena is an opportunity for him to prove himself and, at Survivor Series, the whole direction of WWE is on the line. Ryback confidently tells Kane that he’s got it under control, but Kane continues, saying that he will be at ringside for the match and, if Ryback wants to be a successful cog in the wheel of Team Authority, then Ryback will need “humility”. Kane then says that he will be out there for the sole purpose of helping Ryback win, but Ryback tells the Director of Operations that, if he needs Kane’s help, then he will ask for it, telling Kane to stay out of his way. Former best friends would face off on RAW as England’s own Paige would go one-on-one with Alicia Fox. With the UK fans solidly behind her, Paige would spike Alicia Fox with the Ram Paige, pinning Alicia for the win. Backstage, WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon confronts Lana and the new United States Champion, Rusev, saying that she had no doubt that Rusev would win the United States Title. Stephanie reminds Rusev that it was The Authority who granted Rusev his title match last week and it is The Authority that is allowing Rusev to have his victory celebration here tonight. Stephanie then makes the assumption that all The Authority has done for Rusev & Lana means that Rusev will join Team Authority for Survivor Series, but when Lana says that they will “consider it”, Stephanie changes her tone. Stephanie calls Lana a “stuck-up, Russian twit” before saying that she scratches their back and they scratch hers, asking if she is understood. Backstage, a meeting between WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon questions why Mr. McMahon would put The Authority’s power on the line before Triple H says that Team Cena does not stand a chance at Survivor Series. However, Stephanie brings up the big question of “what if” and Triple H says that they cannot think like that, saying that, as long as they have each other, then everything will be fine. After rendering Sheamus unconscious in a WWE Network-exclusive match last week where he won the United States Title, the brand new United States Champion, Rusev, with Lana by his side, would appear on RAW for his victory celebration. Lana tells the UK crowd that, if it wasn’t for Russia, then they would all be speaking German right now. After a Russian man in a suit reads a decree from Russian president Vladimir Putin, Rusev asks everyone to stand and honor the Russian national anthem. However, the celebration is interrupted by the former champion, Sheamus, who rushes the ring, forcing Rusev to retreat to the outside. After succumbing to the Accolade in a WWE Network-exclusive match last week, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus would get his shot at regaining the United States Title as Sheamus would challenge “The Hero of the Russian Federation” Rusev, with Lana in his corner, for the patriotic gold. During the intense matchup, Seth Rollins’ personal security would make their way to ringside, keeping a close eye on the proceedings. At the end of the back-and-forth match, Rusev would roll to the outside to avoid the Brogue Kick, but after Sheamus rolls Rusev back into the ring, Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury would jump Sheamus behind the back of the referee, preventing Sheamus from getting back into the ring before the referee’s ten-count. As a result, Rusev wins the match by count-out, successfully retaining the United States Title. Following a successful title defense with the help of The Authority, Stephanie McMahon again confronts Rusev & Lana backstage and, this time, Rusev agrees to join Team Authority at Survivor Series! Lana then mentions Vladimir Putin, but Stephanie says that she does not care what Putin says because it’s about what The Authority wants, saying that, together, they will “crush” Team Cena. In tag team action, the self-proclaimed “A-Lister” The Miz would team with his stunt double Damien Mizdow, with Mini-Miz in their corner, to face Los Matadores, with El Torito in their corner. In the end, The Miz would counter a suplex attempt by Fernando into a pinning situation and, with Damien Mizdow illegally holding Fernando’s foot to prevent the kick-out, The Miz & Mizdow would pick up the win. With John Cena banned from ringside by Triple H, Team Cena member and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler would have to go it alone against Team Authority member and “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry in a non-title match. However, the match would be short-lived after Dolph Ziggler dodges Mark Henry on the outside as, after Henry’s own momentum sends him over the ringside barricade, Henry would grab a steel chair and toss it into the face of Dolph Ziggler, resulting in the disqualification. With the match now over, Mark Henry would set his sights on destroying the Intercontinental Champion on behalf of The Authority. “The World’s Strongest Man” would then slide the larger half of the steel steps into the ring, dragging Dolph into the ring, but just when it looked like Mark Henry was going to lay waste to Dolph Ziggler, a taped-up Big Show would make his way to the ring. The angry giant would dodge the steel steps before knocking Mark Henry out of the ring. Henry quickly retreats as Big Show lobs the steps towards Henry before Big Show informs Mark Henry and the rest of the world that he is joining Team Cena and he will see Mark Henry at Survivor Series! Backstage, John Cena welcomes the newest addition to Team Cena, Big Show, saying that all they need is two more guys crazy enough to combat Team Authority. However, that is when Sheamus joins the conversation, saying that Cena only needs to find one more guy because he’s joining the team! Before she defends the Divas Title against Nikki Bella at Survivor Series, Divas Champion AJ Lee would go one-on-one with Nikki Bella’s sister and personal assistant, Brie Bella, in a non-title match. In the end, it was AJ Lee locking in the Black Widow on Brie Bella, making Brie tap out. However, as soon as the match was over, Nikki Bella would strike, attacking the Divas Champion from behind, hitting the Rack Attack on AJ Lee before ordering Brie to get up. With The Exotic Express, as well as The Bunny, in his corner, Adam Rose would go one-on-one with Tyson Kidd on RAW. During the match, the sheep mask-wearing Erick Rowan would walk past The Exotic Express before standing at ringside, lifting his mask, and saying “she’s not here”. Rowan then exits through the crowd, apparently disappointed that Natalya was not at ringside. Back in the ring, The Bunny would inexplicably climb to the top rope, distracting Adam Rose long enough for Tyson Kidd to take advantage as Kidd locks in the Sharpshooter, making Rose tap out to pick up the win. After the match, The Bunny would enter the ring to try and apologize to Adam Rose, but Rose would kick The Bunny in the mid-section before leaving with The Exotic Express. Backstage, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon are with four of the five members of Team Authority, excluding Ryback, as Kane brings up Ryback’s “attitude problem” to The Authority with Kane’s teammates agreeing. However, Ryback overhears Kane’s comment and he says that they are talking behind his back. Triple H tries to defuse the situation, saying that, tonight, it is about Ryback as the COO tells “The Big Guy” to do what he does best, saying that John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, & Sheamus are all banned from ringside! Then it was time for the main event as the captain of Team Cena at Survivor Series, John Cena, would go one-on-one with Team Authority member Ryback, with his Survivor Series teammates Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry, & Rusev in his corner, as well as Seth Rollins’ personal security, and, as decreed by The Authority, all members of Team Cena would be banned from ringside. During the match, Kane would stop Ryback from going back into the ring in order to tell Ryback what to do and tell him to do his job. However, this impromptu meeting would allow John Cena to take advantage as Cena knocks Ryback off of the ring apron and Ryback lands on top of Kane! Later on in the match, Kane would get on the ring apron to distract John Cena, but Cena would knock Kane off of the apron. However, just when Ryback was close to putting Cena away, Kane enters the ring and attacks Cena, resulting in the disqualification. After Kane just cost him the match, Ryback would get in Kane’s face, even shoving the Director of Operations before Seth Rollins would enter the ring to try and calm the situation. The attempt would fail as Ryback decks Seth Rollins and Kane would level Ryback with a big boot. Kane was then joined by Seth Rollins, Mark Henry, Rusev, and Seth Rollins’ personal security in putting the boots to John Cena, but the newest addition to Team Cena would rush out as Sheamus makes a beeline for the ring. Unfortunately for “The Celtic Warrior”, the numbers would overwhelm Sheamus and Sheamus would find himself leveled with a chokeslam by Kane. Big Show would then march towards the ring, knocking out both Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury, but when Big Show gets in the ring, he is caught with a flying knee from Seth Rollins and a huge kick to Big Show. Team Authority then sets out to eradicate Team Cena as Rollins, Kane, Henry, & Rusev continue to stomp away at Cena, Sheamus, & Big Show before Mark Henry plants Big Show with the World’s Strongest Slam. With Cena, Sheamus, & Big Show all down, Ryback would return to the ring with his sights set on Team Authority as “The Big Guy” plants Seth Rollins with a spinebuster before taking out both Mark Henry and Rusev. Kane would then grab Ryback by the throat, but “The Big Guy” would power out and drill the Director of Operations with Shell Shocked! Ryback then storms out of the ring, making it clear that he has no interest in being a part of Team Authority. Having made it to his feet, a confused John Cena applauds what Ryback just did to Team Authority, but a bigger story quickly unfolds backstage. While Triple H & Stephanie watch the proceedings from their office, the beaten body of Dolph Ziggler is thrown at the feet of The Authority and, when Triple H & Stephanie look up to see who is responsible for the attack, they see the strange and unpredictable Luke Harper standing in front of them as Harper simply tells The Authority that he is a “team player”, leaving Triple H & Stephanie in shock.
