WWE RAW Results: October 6, 2014By Cassidy| October 7, 2014 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results After being humiliated by Dean Ambrose last week when he was sprayed in the face by green slime when he opened his Money-in-the-Bank briefcase, RAW kicks off with an angry Seth Rollins. “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” first shows footage of him, along with Kane and Randy Orton, laying waste to John Cena and Dean Ambrose with Seth Rollins dealing the final blow to both men. Rollins says that he is a “patient man” and he will stand for a lot of things, but one thing you do not do is “embarrass” Seth Rollins. Rollins’ rant is then interrupted by agents Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury, who implore Seth Rollins to leave the ring. However, Rollins refuses, saying that the spotlight is on him and everyone wants a piece of him and it was not soon after this that John Cena makes a beeline to the ring, breezing past Noble and Mercury and getting a few shots in on Seth Rollins before “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” escapes through the crowd. However, while Seth Rollins thought that he had evaded another beatdown, Dean Ambrose would make sure that Rollins would not get away again as “The Lunatic Fringe” appears behind Rollins, attacking Rollins and forcing him back into the ringside area! Cena then resumes the attempted beatdown on Rollins before Ambrose dives off of the barricade, taking both Cena and Rollins out. Noble & Mercury are then able to restrain Ambrose long enough for Seth Rollins to make a successful escape. With John Cena in the ring and Dean Ambrose on the ring apron, WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon come out to the stage. Stephanie says that they are not going to let the show “dissolve” before it even gets underway, saying that they told Seth Rollins to not come out to the ring, but he let his “ego” get in the way, saying that Cena and Ambrose can relate. Triple H then says that, while it seems like they are not working together, it is clear that both Cena and Ambrose want a piece of Seth Rollins, saying that The Authority is all about “opportunity”. Triple H & Stephanie then ask the fans if they want to see Cena and Ambrose get their hands on Rollins and, with the fans supporting the idea, Triple H seemingly announces a 2-on-1 Handicap Match pitting Rollins against both Cena and Ambrose, but the COO then adds Kane and Randy Orton to the mix, putting Cena & Ambrose in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match against Seth Rollins, Kane, & Randy Orton! The opening match of the night would be a 6-Man Tag Match as Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler would team with former tag team champions The Usos to face “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro and the WWE Tag Team Champions Gold & Stardust. At the end of a chaotic match, it was Dolph Ziggler & The Usos hitting an incredible triple super kick on Stardust, followed up with Jimmy Uso landing the Superfly Splash, pinning Stardust to pick up the win for his team. After twice picking up an improbable victory over Mark Henry last week, Bo Dallas would go one-on-one with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry on RAW. During the match, Bo Dallas would escape to the outside, but a determined Mark Henry would follow Bo Dallas to the outside, smashing Bo’s face on the announce table before ramming Dallas back-first into the steel ring post and hurling Bo into the ringside barricade. Henry then dismantles the announce table with the intent of putting Bo Dallas through it with the World’s Strongest Slam, but Bo Dallas would wiggle out of Henry’s grasp, making it back into the ring just as the referee reaches his ten-count as Bo Dallas picks up another win over Mark Henry, this time by count-out. Before he and John Cena faced Seth Rollins, Kane, & Randy Orton in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match later on in the night, Dean Ambrose would make an appearance on RAW as “The Lunatic Fringe” points out John Cena abandoning him on SmackDown, saying that he is trying “real hard” to not dislike John Cena. Ambrose then calls Cena out to the ring to settle things before they go to war with The Authority in the main event. Never one to back down from any man, John Cena makes his way to the ring to confront Ambrose. Cena says that, if the fans understand Ambrose’s actions, then they understand his actions so he and Ambrose are “clear”. Cena was set to leave the ring, but Ambrose halts Cena, saying that, maybe they can co-exist tonight, but he also has no problem with dropping Cena where he stands and taking on The Authority by himself. Getting back into the ring, Cena reminds “The Lunatic Fringe” that the last time that Ambrose tried to combat The Authority on his own, he has his skull put through cinder blocks and he was put on the shelf for a month. Cena continues, giving Ambrose credit for not being afraid to say what he wants to say, but advises Ambrose that he also has no problem in dropping Ambrose where he stands. However, the ever unpredictable Dean Ambrose comments that he is “hungry”, saying that he is going to go to Coney Island, wishing Cena “good luck” later tonight before walking to the back, apparently leaving Cena to go it alone in the main event! With one arm tied behind her back per the orders of The Authority and with her sister, Nikki, watching from the stage, Brie Bella would go one-on-one with Summer Rae, with Layla in her corner. During the match, Brie Bella would shove Summer Rae into Layla on the ring apron, followed by a running knee to the face of Summer Rae, pinning Summer for the unlikely win. With his wife, Natalya, in his corner, Tyson Kidd would compete on RAW for the first time in months, facing “The Real American” Jack Swagger, with Zeb Colter in his corner. Despite using every tactic he could think of and even hiding behind his wife, Tyson Kidd would still find himself locked in the Patriot Lock as Jack Swagger forces Kidd to tap out to pick up the win. In an exclusive interview with Roman Reigns conducted by Michael Cole on RAW, Roman would appear live via satellite, saying that he’s counting down the days until he can come back and be right in the middle of the ring, kicking everybody’s ass. Roman then says that, with the right attitude, he will be back sooner than later. In a comical collision of mascots, the mascot of Slater & Gator, Mini-Gator, would face the mascot of Los Matadores, El Torito. Among chants of “This Is Stupid” and “Derek Jeter”, El Torito would hit a moonsault on Min-Gator, pinning Mini-Gator for the win. With The Authority declaring Big Show “inactive” for the night and assigning Big Show to “sensitivity training”, Big Show would have to sit in the back as “The Hero of the Russian Federation” Rusev, with Lana in tow, would appear on RAW. Lana says that she is afraid that there will be no match between Rusev and Big Show tonight, saying that Big Show should be “imprisoned” for what he did to the Russian flag last week and all of the fans should be arrested too! Lana continues, saying that what Big Show did was a “hate crime” before handing the microphone to Rusev. After saying something in Russian, Rusev says that America is not a “super power”, saying that America is “nothing” before Rusev taunts Big Show, daring “The World’s Largest Athlete” to come to the ring, knowing full well that The Authority has forbidden it. Rusev then calls Big Show a “coward”, saying that all of the fans are cowards too. However, Rusev, Lana, and all of the fans worldwide would be in shock at what happened next as a surprise guest would halt the tirade of Rusev & Lana as the fans in the Barclays Center would come unglued with the arrival of the one and only “Great One” The Rock! The former WWE Champion turned Hollywood Superstar soaks in the explosive reaction from the Brooklyn crowd before making his way to the ring to confront Rusev & Lana. With the fans solidly behind him, The Rock says that he woke up at 4:30AM this morning and was “clanging and banging” in the gym much like Rusev does, but, unlike Rusev, he does not pull his shorts up to his nipples, saying that Rusev makes everyone look at his “Moscow moose knuckle”. The Rock then says that, after he was done at the gym, he got a jet and flew to the Big Apple and, starting in Queens and making his way to the Bronx so he could pay respect to Derek Jeter before making his way down a historic bridge, arriving in the Barclays Center so he could proudly say that “finally The Rock has come back to Brooklyn”! Lana asks The Rock who he thinks he is, coming out there and interrupting the “great” Rusev, telling The Rock that he needs to “shut up”. Never one to be lost for words, The Rock tells Lana that she needs to stop dressing like a “Soviet street walker”. Rusev then addresses The Rock, telling “The Great One” that it is his “last warning”, telling The Rock to leave or he will have to “crush” him. The Rock says that it doesn’t matter what Rusev thinks before saying that, no one else in the back has ever told him this before, but the fans do not boo them because they support Russia, they boo them because they are a “couple of world class, international a-holes”! Lana then quotes Vladimir Putin and saying that Rusev is “hungry” before The Rock quotes Jay-Z by saying “let me re-introduce myself”, saying that he’s the “jabroni-beating, pie-eating, trailblazing, eyebrow-raising, talking is done, you’re out of your class, no sleep until Brooklyn, The Rock whoops your ass”! With that declaration, The Rock lays into Rusev with right hands, laying the smackdown on Rusev, knocking “The Hero of the Russian Federation” right out of the ring! With Rusev & Lana in a state of shock on the outside, The Rock declares, “if you smell what The Rock is cooking”! The supposed “new best friends” Paige & Alicia Fox were in action on RAW as the two former champions would face Divas Champion AJ Lee and Paige’s former friend and rival Emma in tag team action. Throughout the match, AJ Lee’s reluctance to have a tag team partner was apparent and would lead to the Divas Champion abandoning her partner, looking in as Paige hits the Ram Paige on Emma, pinning Emma for the win. In another disturbing promo video from Bray Wyatt, this time featuring Erick Rowan, Bray says that “only the strong survive” and they “pointed and laughed” at Erick Rowan because he was “different”. Bray then says that he “fixed” Rowan before Rowan himself then says “don’t apologize”, saying that he will “hurt” them just they hurt him. Bray then says that Rowan has been “set free” before writing on a pregnant woman’s stomach reads, “it’s coming”. In a match made earlier in the night by The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane, the self-proclaimed “A-Lister” The Miz, with Damien Mizdow in his corner, would go one-on-one with United States Champion Sheamus in a non-title match on RAW. During the match, Sheamus would knock Damien Mizdow off of the ring apron with the Brogue Kick, but The Miz was quick to take advantage, surprising Sheamus with a roll-up, pinning the United States Champion for the win. Then it was time for the main event as, with Dean Ambrose apparently abandoning John Cena, the fifteen-time former World Champion would be forced to go it alone against “The Viper” Randy Orton, The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane, and “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. Throughout the match, John Cena would battle the odds, but the match would come to an end once Kane & Randy Orton enter the ring as Kane plants Cena with a chokeslam. Randy Orton then sets up for the RKO on John Cena, but Dean Ambrose comes out, pushing a hot dog cart out to the stage, opening the umbrella and pushing the cart down the ramp. Ambrose then eats a hot dog before he is confronted by Kane & Randy Orton, but Ambrose came armed with ketchup and mustard, squirting the condiments on Orton and Kane before entering the ring and, along with John Cena, Ambrose takes out The Authority as Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Randy Orton. Dean Ambrose then dives to the outside, taking Rollins out before using hot dog tongs to hurt Rollins in a very sensitive area. After Seth Rollins retreats to higher ground, Triple H & Stephanie come out to the stage as Triple H states that, if Cena or Ambrose wants to get their hands on Seth Rollins, they will have to go through each other first. The COO then announces that, at WWE Hell in a Cell, John Cena will go one-on-one with Dean Ambrose and, whoever wins that match will get to face Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell later that same night! Stephanie then adds that, one way or the other, either Cena or Ambrose will be going “straight to hell”. Following this announcement, Dean Ambrose takes the opportunity to strike first, planting Cena with a double-arm DDT! The unhinged Dean Ambrose then stands over John Cena, talking to himself, clearly having no issue going through John Cena come Hell in a Cell. What did you think of this week’s RAW?
