WWE: Warner Bros. NOT buying WWE Video LibraryBy Cassidy| September 18, 2014 Wrestling News It was reported earlier this week by TheWrap.com that media titan Warner Bros. was interested in purchasing the entire WWE Video Library. However, PWInsider broke the news today that the claims made by TheWrap.com were completely false as Warner Bros. has been discussing a home video distribution deal with WWE that would see Warner Bros. handle WWE’s future DVD and Blu-Ray releases. TheWrap.com also incorrectly listed Cinedigm as the company in charge of the WWE Video Library as WWE has always been in charge of their own library, but Cinedigm is in charge of WWE’s DVD and Blu-Ray releases, so it is easy to see where TheWrap.com could have gotten confused. In any case, Warner Bros. will not be buying the WWE Video Library, but the media giant may step in as WWE’s home video distributor in the future if a deal between the two companies can be made. Should WWE make a deal with Warner Bros.? Post your comments in the box below.
