WWE Smackdown rating continues to fallBy Andrew Ravens| September 23, 2014 Wrestling News Last Friday’s edition of WWE Smackdown averaged 2.631 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.821 million viewers. This was the worst rating the show has drawn since August 22. In case you missed the show, the main event was Roman Reigns vs. Rusev and was the go-home show for WWE Night of Champions. That means the show scored a 1.86 rating, down from the previous week’s 1.95 rating, according to TVbythenumbers.com. WWE has booked Smackdown as the B show for over a decade now, but with ratings continuing to fall, you would think WWE would do something to change it up. Smackdown did not feature John Cena, Chris Jericho, Paul Heyman or the Authority.
