Triple H says that everyone is expecting him to “blow a gasket” after The Authority failed to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as the champion is still John Cena. The COO then admits that he is “madder” than he has been in a long time, but he has “options” on how to handle his anger. Triple H then mocks the fans, saying that he is so mad that he is going to send out a tweet or he might even post a Vine expressing his displeasure. Triple H continues, saying that he doesn’t get what he wants, then he and his “friend Mark” are going to stop watching. Triple H says that he could also fire everyone in the back and kick every fan out of the arena or he could just “relax” knowing that, sooner or later, he always “wins”. The COO continues, saying that he can wait four more weeks to “win” before making the bold proclamation that he “guaran-damn-tees” that John Cena will not leave SummerSlam as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Before Triple H can reveal who Cena will be facing at SummerSlam, he is interrupted by Randy Orton, who says that he is still owed his one-on-one rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Orton then “guarantees” that, if he gets to face John Cena for the title at SummerSlam, then he will defeat Cena at SummerSlam. Triple H tells “The Viper” that Orton is currently the “front runner” for a title shot, but he has not made a decision as to who will challenge Cena at SummerSlam. The COO continues, saying that, tonight, the entire WWE roster will have the opportunity to “convince” him that they are worthy of a title shot, saying that he wants someone to “impress” him. Triple H says that he wants someone to prove to him that they want to be the champion more than anyone else. Orton says that, if Kane would have done his job at Battleground, then he would be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now. This brings Kane to the ring as “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” joins Triple H and Randy Orton in the ring. Kane says that he hopes that he is being considered for the title shot because he knows that he is the one that can bring the title back to The Authority, saying that he can only do so if he is not appointed as Randy Orton’s “protector” and that he is “tired of babysitting”. Roman Reigns then joins the proceedings, making his way to the ring to confront The Authority. Reigns says that he thinks his name belongs in any conversation regarding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, saying that, the last time he checked, no one was clamoring to see John Cena face Kane and no one wants to see Cena vs. Orton again. Roman then says that it seems like everyone wants to see John Cena vs. Roman Reigns, telling The Authority to “believe that” before making a statement by blasting Kane with the Superman Punch! Randy Orton then narrowly escapes Reigns as Orton joins Triple H on the outside as the COO announces an impromptu match as Roman Reigns will face both Kane and Randy Orton right now! In an impromptu match made by WWE COO Triple H, Roman Reigns would be forced to go it alone against “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” Kane in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. During the match, Randy Orton & Kane would have the match well in hand, but when Randy Orton refuses to tag into the match, Kane would grab Orton by the throat. This would provide the perfect opening for Roman Reigns to blast Kane with the Superman Punch and, as Orton walks away from the ring, Roman hits the Spear on Kane, pinning Kane for the win. After the match, Roman Reigns would dare Randy Orton to come back into the ring and fight him, but “The Viper” would get to the ring apron before deciding to back off and not fight Reigns. In a 4-on-1 Handicap Match orchestrated by WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon, Nikki Bella would be forced to face Alicia Fox, Cameron, Eva Marie, & Rosa Mendes. Before the match, Nikki Bella would greet her sister, Brie Bella, who was in the front row at ringside. Stephanie McMahon then comes out, calling Brie “the quitter” before confronting Brie, telling her that she “abandoned” Nikki in favor of her husband, Daniel Bryan. Stephanie continues, saying that she is glad that Brie is there to see her sister get “demolished”, but as Stephanie walks away, Brie calls Stephanie a “bitch”. This stops Stephanie in her tracks and she comes back to try and throw Brie out of the arena, but Brie shows that she has a ticket to be there. The Principal Owner then instructs Brie to sit down, but Brie takes the microphone away from Stephanie, calling the Principal Owner a “vindictive bitch”! Stephanie responds by slapping Brie Bella, inciting Brie as she tries to jump the barricade, which results in security throwing Brie Bella out of the arena! Stephanie then orders the match to begin as all four Divas beat Nikki Bella down before Alicia Fox hits the Axe Kick on Nikki Bella, picking up the easy win. After the match, Stephanie tells Nikki Bella that, sooner or later, Nikki will “quit” just like Brie did. Dressed as former Miami Heat player LeBron James, Damien Sandow would go one-on-one with the undefeated Bo Dallas on RAW. In the end, it was Bo Dallas hitting the Bo Dog on Damien Sandow en route to picking up the win. RAW was scheduled to feature a special edition of Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel with special guest Bray Wyatt, but a backstage attack on Chris Jericho by The Wyatt Family would change that plan. The Wyatt Family would then make their way to the ring as Bray Wyatt says that Jericho cannot host the show as he is “indisposed” at the moment. Bray then shows the assault on Chris Jericho as all three members of The Wyatt Family beat Jericho down before Bray uses the Sister Abigail to smash Jericho’s face into a steel locker. Bray then says that Jericho is not there for them, but he is there for them just like he has always been there for them. Bray continues, saying that they think that, just because Jericho won at Battleground, that he is the better man, but losing a battle does not matter to him as his sights are always set on winning the “war”. Bray says that it wasn’t that long ago that The Wyatt Family arrived in WWE, but they have “slain giants” and brought “heroes” to their knees in their reign of terror. Bray then says that Jericho cannot “measure” him by the days of the year because time is “irrelevant” to him, saying that Abigail used to tell him to be careful when he seeks “vengeance” because he will have to dig two graves, one for his victim and one for himself, proclaiming that he is “forever” before kneeling in the middle of the ring and screaming “follow the buzzards”. After outlasting 18 other Superstars in the Battleground Battle Royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion, The Miz was in action on RAW as the Intercontinental Champion would face the man he last eliminated in the Battleground Battle Royal, Dolph Ziggler, in a non-title match. At the end of an incredible match, it was Dolph Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on The Miz, finally pinning the Intercontinental Champion to pick up the win. Backstage, Cesaro interrupts a conversation between WWE COO Triple H and “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, telling Triple H that he is a “walking Money-in-the-Bank contract”, saying that he always gets the job done in title matches. Cesaro then reveals that, as of right now, he is no longer a “Heyman guy” and he wants to be Triple H’s “guy”! However, Seth Rollins says that Triple H already has a “guy” and Triple H tells Cesaro that, if Cesaro can take care of the “unfinished business” that is Dean Ambrose in a match here tonight, then that would be something that would “impress” him. With their friendship apparently surviving their Divas Title match at Battleground, Divas Champion AJ Lee would team with Paige to face the team of Emma and Natalya on RAW. In the end, it was AJ Lee locking in the Black Widow on Natalya, making Natalya tap out to pick up the win for herself and Paige. After the match, Paige would raise the hand of the Divas Champion before Paige shows her true colors, slamming AJ Lee down by her hair before delivering repeated headbutts to AJ Lee. Paige then takes AJ Lee to the outside, sending the Divas Champion face-first into the steel ring post before tossing AJ Lee over the announce table! Paige then screams, “This is my house” before mocking AJ Lee by skipping from the ringside area. With Layla & Summer Rae in his corner, Zack Ryder would face Fandango on RAW. In the end, Zack Ryder would hit the Rough Ryder on Fandango and, with Layla pushing Fandango’s foot off of the bottom rope, Ryder would actually pick up a win on RAW! After shoving Heath Slater down backstage, the Guest Star of RAW would have a special treat for WWE as Grammy Award-nominee Flo Rida would perform three of his hit songs, “Good Feeling”, “Wild Ones”, and “Let The Good Times Roll”, live on RAW. The show is then halted when a group of men with badges are talking to Stephanie McMahon at ringside with one of the men actually keeping Stephanie from leaving. While the nature of the situation was unknown, the fear on Stephanie’s face tells the story as a man reads the Principal Owner her rights. Stephanie confesses to one of the men that she slapped Brie Bella earlier tonight and, after the man informs Stephanie that slapping Brie Bella counts as “battery”, the three men put handcuffs on Stephanie McMahon, informing Stephanie that she is under arrest! Brie Bella then re-emerges, getting into an argument with the handcuffed Stephanie before security restrains Brie and the officers are able to escort Stephanie to the back. Once in the back, an outraged Triple H confronts the officers, demanding to see their badges. Then, having no choice but to comply, Triple H is forced to watch as his wife is stuffed in the back of a police car and driven out of the arena as Triple H vows to be right behind his wife on her way to jail. Backstage, WWE COO Triple H is quickly packing his bags, preparing to leave the arena after his wife was just arrested. Agent Joey Mercury then asks Triple H about his decision regarding a #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam and, while Triple H initially says that “family comes first”, the COO thinks about it and tells Joey to put the car on “standby” until after he makes his announcement! In tag team action, RybAxel would face the team of Big E & Kofi Kingston on RAW. In the end, it was Kofi Kingston hitting a high cross body on Ryback, but Ryback would roll through, keeping Kofi down for the three-count to pick up the win for RybAxel. After the match, Xavier Woods enters the ring in a white suit and glasses to confront Big E & Kofi Kingston. The nearly unrecognizable Xavier says that they cannot move ahead by “singing and dancing like a puppet” and they cannot succeed by always doing what they are told, saying that it is up to them to find “order” and it is their “time” to find “purpose”, telling Big E & Kofi that, now, they “take”. After narrowly surviving a war with Jack Swagger at Battleground, winning the match by count-out, “The Hero of the Russian Federation” was in action on RAW as Rusev, with Lana in his corner, would face his largest Superstar to date in The Great Khali. Even the giant Khali would fall to Rusev as Rusev blasts Khali with a huge side kick before managing to lock in the Accolade on the seven-footer, making Khali tap out to pick up the win. After brawling with Seth Rollins throughout the night at Battleground, Dean Ambrose was in action on RAW as “The Lunatic Fringe” went one-on-one with “The King of Swing” Cesaro. Late in the matchup, Dean Ambrose would send Cesaro into the steel ring post before grabbing a steel chair, using it to smash the shoulder of Cesaro, resulting in the disqualification. After the match, Dean Ambrose would take a seat in the middle of the ring, daring Cesaro to come back and fight. WWE COO Triple H would then make an appearance in the ring to make the much-anticipated announcement as to who will challenge John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in four weeks at SummerSlam. Triple H wastes no time in bringing Cena’s next challenger to the ring as Randy Orton walks down to the ring to join the COO. However, Orton would not make it to the ring before he is ambushed by Roman Reigns, sparking a brawl between Orton and Reigns that goes through the crowd, all the way to the backstage area. Left in the ring is a frustrated Triple H, who appears to be at a loss before Paul Heyman makes his way to the stage. Heyman says that he hates to point out the obvious, but Triple H’s “Plan A”, Randy Orton, is not working out too well as long as Roman Reigns is around and, while Triple H’s “Plan B”, Seth Rollins, is great and all, Dean Ambrose will continue to make sure that Rollins cannot cash in his Money-in-the-Bank contract. Heyman then says that Triple H needs to make the “dangerous choice” of implementing “Plan C” before Heyman unveils the proposed “Plan C” as the man who shocked the entire world by breaking the undefeated WrestleMania streak of The Undertaker, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar! With Paul Heyman by his side, Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring to confront the man who had his arm broken by “The Beast” on two separate occasions, Triple H. Triple H then shakes the hand of Paul Heyman before actually shaking the hand of Brock Lesnar, leaving the ring to Lesnar & Heyman! Paul Heyman then proclaims that Brock Lesnar conquered The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania and, that is why Lesnar is there to announce his intentions to “conquer” John Cena and win the WWE World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam! Heyman continues, saying that Lesnar understands the divide of the WWE fans when it comes to John Cena and, it does not matter to Brock which side of the fence that the fans are on because Cena will get the “beating” of his life at SummerSlam. Heyman vows that the same beating that Brock gave to The Undertaker at WrestleMania awaits John Cena at SummerSlam. Heyman continues, saying that John Cena cannot “escape” the beating, vowing that Brock Lesnar is going to “mangle” John Cena and, then, Brock Lesnar is going to strip Cena of his dignity just like he stripped The Undertaker of his dignity. Heyman then says that fifteen World Title reigns in ten years sounds like something that needs “conquering” before proclaiming that, at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar will beat John Cena and become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
