Detailed Results Before he faces John Cena in a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules this Sunday night, Bray Wyatt would join his followers, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan, as The Wyatt Family would face “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus and WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos in a 6-Man Tag Match to kick off SmackDown. In the end, it was Bray Wyatt hitting the Sister Abigail on Jimmy Uso, pinning Uso to pick up the win for The Wyatt Family. After the match, Jey Uso would dive to the outside, taking out Luke Harper & Erick Rowan, but Bray Wyatt would sling Jey Uso into the ringside barricade. Sheamus would then get involved, but The Wyatt Family would take out “The Celtic Warrior”, tossing Sheamus into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Luke Harper blasts Jimmy Uso with the Discus Clothesline before Bray kneels next to the fallen Uso. SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero would then make an appearance as Vickie is joined by 3MB and Los Matadores with Hornswoggle & El Torito seated at a table, ready to sign the contract to make their “WeeLC” Match on the Extreme Rules Pre-Show official. After Hornswoggle signs the contract and El Torito gives his hoof-print, the match was made official. Hornswoggle and El Torito would then stand on the table, getting in each other’s face before a fight breaks out between the pint-sized Superstars. With the aid of Los Matadores, El Torito would take 3MB & Hornswoggle out of the ring before El Torito dives to the outside, taking all four men out. Two nights before they join Cesaro in a Triple Threat Elimination Match at Extreme Rules, SmackDown would see “Mr. Friday Night” Rob Van Dam go one-on-one with Jack Swagger, with Zeb Colter in his corner, with Cesaro & Paul Heyman at ringside. In the end, it was Rob Van Dam hitting the Five-Star Frog Splash on Jack Swagger, pinning Swagger for the win. After the match, Cesaro would blast RVD from behind, planting Van Dam with the Neutralizer. Before he teams with Xavier Woods to try and take down Alexander Rusev in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match at Extreme Rules, R-Truth, with Xavier Woods in his corner, would go one-on-one with Alexander Rusev, with Lana in his corner. During the match, Alexander Rusev would attack Xavier Woods on the outside, which would lead to Woods getting involved in the match, ending the match via disqualification. R-Truth & Xavier Woods then work together to take Rusev down on the outside, sending “The Bulgarian Brute” into retreat. Before he collides with Kane in an Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Extreme Rules, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan appears on SmackDown. The champion says that he and the fans overcome “insurmountable odds” on a daily basis and they take care of their families. Bryan says that, this Sunday, he is going to walk in as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and he is going to walk out the same way. Bryan continues, saying that Extreme Rules will be about much more than the title because Kane put his hands on his wife, Brie Bella. Bryan then says that, by any means necessary, he is sending Kane “straight to hell” at Extreme Rules. The champion is then interrupted by Kane as “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” appears on the tron, saying he will give Daniel Bryan a guided tour of “hell” this Sunday. Kane then says that he has only just begun to show Daniel Bryan the “depths” of his depravity. Kane then laughs maniacally as Daniel Bryan rips off his neckbrace, his angry gaze focused on “The Devil’s Favorite Demon”. Still wearing his ridiculous Magneto costume, Damien Sandow would go one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown. In the end, it was Dolph Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on Damien Sandow, pinning the Magneto impersonator for the win. Two nights before he defends the Intercontinental Title against Bad News Barrett at Extreme Rules, the Intercontinental Champion was in action on SmackDown as Big E went one-on-one with Titus O’Neil in a non-title match. Early on in the match, the new attitude of Titus O’Neil would show as Titus tosses Big E over the announce table at ringside, pummeling the Intercontinental Champion before rolling Big E back into the ring, where Titus would punch and stomp away at Big E to the point of getting himself disqualified. However, this would serve only to anger the Intercontinental Champion as Big E would pummel Titus O’Neil inside and outside of the ring, hurling Titus into the barricade and the steel steps before tossing Titus over the announce table and beating him down behind the table. Big E then rolls Titus back into the ring where he stands over Titus. Then it was time for the main event as, per the orders of The Authority, The Shield’s Dean Ambrose would defend the United States Title against Ryback, Curtis Axel, & Alberto Del Rio in a Fatal 4-Way Match with Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns banned from ringside! Early on in the match, the plan would become apparent as Del Rio, Ryback, & Curtis Axel would work together to take out Dean Ambrose. However, Curtis Axel would try to roll up Alberto Del Rio and this would send any proposed partnership out of the equation as regular tag partners Ryback & Curtis Axel would turn their focus to Alberto Del Rio, as well as keeping their eye out for Dean Ambrose. With Ryback tossing Ambrose over the ringside barricade and Del Rio knocking Ryback off of the ring apron, the match looked to be down to two men as Curtis Axel and Del Rio waged a back-and-forth battle with each man barely avoiding defeat. Ryback would eventually get back into the ring, but Del Rio would duck an attempted clothesline from Ryback and Ryback would accidentally blast his own partner with the clothesline! Del Rio then locks the Cross Armbreaker in on Ryback, but Ryback powers out of the submission, hitting Shell Shocked on Del Rio, but Curtis Axel would pull Ryback out of the ring. Axel would struggle to get back into the ring, but before Axel would take advantage of Del Rio being down, Ambrose would come out of nowhere, surprising Axel with a roll-up to narrowly pick up the win and successfully retain the United States Title! After the match, Ryback & Curtis Axel would begin the beatdown on Dean Ambrose, but Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns would make the save as Seth Rollins dives the outside, taking Curtis Axel out and Roman Reigns blasts Ryback with the Spear. Rollins then rolls Curtis Axel into the ring before Reigns blasts Axel with the Superman Punch. The Shield then lifts Curtis Axel up, dropping the third-generation star with the three-man powerbomb!
