Thirteen nights before WrestleMania XXX, the 1087th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Before he goes one-on-one with “The Beast” Brock Lesnar with his undefeated WrestleMania streak on the line on April 6 in New Orleans, “The Phenom” The Undertaker will be live on RAW to confront Brock Lesnar face-to-face for the first time since their contract signing on RAW a couple of weeks ago, which ended with The Undertaker delivering a chokeslam to “The Beast” through a table! Also, after making the major announcement two weeks ago on RAW that WrestleMania XXX will feature the first ever Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the Guest Host of WrestleMania XXX, Hulk Hogan, will appear live on RAW! However, the Hall of Famer would not be alone as “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan would be flanked by the stars of the upcoming movie, Sabotage, as Arnold Schwarzenegger & Joe Manganiello will appear with Hulk Hogan for the first time ever! What will these three have in store for the crowd in Brooklyn? Match Results #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match: Christian def. Detailed Results One week after she and her husband, WWE COO Triple H, orchestrated a heinous plan that laid the groundwork for Triple H to brutally assault a handcuffed Daniel Bryan, RAW kicks off with WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie states that Daniel Bryan will not be in the arena tonight, saying that she agrees that, what they did to Daniel Bryan last week, was “hard to watch”. Stephanie explains that they did what was necessary to “send a message” to Daniel Bryan and all of the Superstars in the locker room that “insubordination” will not be “tolerated”. Stephanie continues, saying that they will not allow the “so-called Yes Movement” to create a “false leader” who will lead all of them down the path to “self-destruction”. Stephanie then says that, as “leaders”, their decisions will not always be popular, saying that people like them need to be led by people with “intellect” like hers. Stephanie continues, saying that she is the only one who can carry the “burden” of making decisions for all of them, saying that her husband, Triple H, is the “greatest Superstar in WWE history”, vowing that Triple H will defeat Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania and he will go on to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This brings out the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, who says that he “respects” Triple H & Stephanie too much to do what he is ultimately going to have to do if Triple H defeats Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania. Orton then says that he cannot be held responsible for what he does at WrestleMania, saying that he will beat Batista and Triple H at WrestleMania. The champion continues, saying that Stephanie is a “savvy businesswoman”, suggesting that Stephanie let Triple H walk away a “winner” at WrestleMania and walk away from the WWE World Heavyweight Title match! The #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, “The Animal” Batista, then makes his way to the ring. Batista says that they are all missing the “big picture”, proclaiming that they are looking at the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion, saying that, no matter who is in the match with him, he is going to walk out of WrestleMania as the champion. The #1 Contender says that Triple H mentored him, but it does not change the fact that Triple H has never defeated him and, if he makes it into the title match at WrestleMania, he will not beat him there either. Batista continues, saying that Randy Orton makes him sick with all of his “sucking up” to The Authority, telling Orton to “drool” on Stephanie a little bit more. “The Animal” then says that he thinks that Stephanie has been “drooled on” a lot, which Stephanie responds to by literally slapping the sunglasses off of Batista’s face! Stephanie then exits the ring, leaving Batista and a laughing Randy Orton in the ring, but “The Animal” would turn around and deliver a Spear to the champion! Batista then symbolically holds the title belts up before exiting the ring. The opening match of the night would be a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title as “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, Christian, Alberto Del Rio, and “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would compete for the right to face Big E for the Intercontinental Championship tomorrow night on WWE Main Event with Intercontinental Champion Big E seated at ringside. In a wild, back-and-forth match, Dolph Ziggler appeared to be poised to victory after taking out both Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio, but Christian would sneak in with the Killswitch to Ziggler, pinning Dolph to become the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title. After the match, Big E would enter the ring, offering a handshake to his #1 Contender, but Christian would refuse. With Scooby-Doo in his corner, Sin Cara was in action on RAW as the high-flyer would go one-on-one with Damien Sandow. In the end, it was Sin Cara hitting the senton bomb on Damien Sandow, pinning Sandow for the win. With a WWE Tag Team Title match against The Usos awaiting them at WrestleMania as a reward from Kane for assisting the Director of Operations in dismantling The Shield on SmackDown, Rybaxel was in action on RAW as Ryback & Curtis Axel would face Los Matadores, with El Torito in their corner. Early on in the match, however, The Shield would make their way through the crowd, drawing the attention of Rybaxel long enough for Diego to roll Curtis Axel up for the win. However, the bigger story would come into play after the match as The Shield surrounds the ring, honing in on two of the men who assaulted them on SmackDown. Roman Reigns pulls Curtis Axel out of the ring as Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins set their sights on Ryback. After tossing Curtis Axel into the ringside barricade, Roman Reigns would head back into the ring, blasting Ryback with the Spear before The Shield puts Ryback down with the three-man powerbomb! In an exclusive one-on-one interview live in the ring, commentator Michael Cole would conduct a special sit-down interview with the man who viciously assaulted a handcuffed Daniel Bryan on RAW last week, WWE COO Triple H. After showing the footage of what happened last week, Michael Cole asks Triple H how he can justify the attack on Daniel Bryan. Triple H says that Daniel Bryan and the fans were very clear about what they were “asking for” and the fans got what they were asking for. Triple H says that he was “shackled” by the Occupy RAW movement two weeks ago. Cole says that, what Daniel Bryan did was an “inspiring act”, while what Triple H did was an “act of thug-like aggression”. Triple H says that he tried telling Daniel Bryan that he did not want to face Bryan at Triple H, but Bryan and the fans forced his hand and he had to act like a “competitor”. Triple H says that Daniel Bryan got exactly what he “deserved” before asking what happened to the world since he stopped competing on a regular basis. Triple H continues, saying that he used to do the most despicable things to people inside the ring and he would look out in the crowd and see the same “lust for success” that fueled him. Triple H says that, now, he looks at the fans and he sees a “bunch of little people with no power and no desire” and, when they don’t get their way, they “cry” about it. The COO continues, saying that the world has “changed” and maybe he should start the “reality era” and, after tossing his chair to the side, Triple H says that the “reality” is that he is going to end the Yes Movement at WrestleMania and, after he does that, he is going to step into the Triple Threat Match and no one is going to stop him. Triple H then says that he has the power to “make it happen” and the reality is that he is going to walk out of WrestleMania as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After Fandango was defeated by Goldust last week, Fandango, with Summer Rae in his corner, would go one-on-one with Goldust’s brother, Cody Rhodes, with Goldust in his corner, on RAW. During the match, Goldust would mock Summer Rae on the outside, leading to an impromptu dance-off between Summer Rae and “The Bizarre One”, which results in Summer hurting her ankle. This distracts Fandango long enough for Cody Rhodes to take advantage, hitting the Disaster Kick en route to picking up the win. The Host of WrestleMania XXX would then appear on RAW as “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan would make a special appearance just two weeks before he makes his grand return to the WrestleMania stage. Hogan says that he doesn’t mean to get all “nostalgic” on them and, even though they are in a different borough, it doesn’t change the fact that history was made at Madison Square Garden in New York City thirty years ago when he teamed with the latest Hall of Fame inductee, Mr. T. The Hall of Famer continues, saying that he is excited for WrestleMania, but he is also excited about their two special guests on RAW. Hogan then introduces the stars of the upcoming movie, Sabotage, Joe Manganiello and the legendary action star Arnold Schwarzenegger. For the first time since inducting Bruno Sammartino into the Hall of Fame last year, Schwarzenegger would appear on WWE television, saying that he cannot believe he is standing in the ring with another one of his heroes, Hulk Hogan. While the Brooklyn crowd gave a warm reception to Hogan and Schwarzenegger, Joe Manganiello got a mixed reaction, but mentioned that he is excited to be in the ring with two legends. Schwarzenegger then brings up the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, saying that Andre was one of his favorite wrestlers of all time. Surprisingly, Schwarzenegger asks Hogan if there is room for two more athletes in the battle royal. Before Hogan can respond, he is interrupted by The Miz, who says that he is sure that they are a big fan of his acting work. Miz says that, unlike the two of them, he is a “tough guy” who does a little acting on the side, saying that he will win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Hulk Hogan tells The Miz then he is standing in the middle of “Hogan country”, but The Miz argues that people are still talking about his main event win at WrestleMania 27. The Miz then says that Schwarzenegger and Manganiello don’t belong there and neither does Hulk Hogan. Manganiello sticks up for his friends, telling The Miz to try and make them leave! Miz then tries to cheap-shot Manganiello, but gets a shot in the gut for his trouble. Schwarzenegger then gets his hands dirty, back-handing Miz across the face before Hogan tosses Miz over the top rope to the outside! Before they join twenty-eight other Superstars in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would go one-on-one with Titus O’Neil on RAW. In the end, it was Big Show leveling Titus O’Neil with the Knockout Punch, pinning Titus for the win. Backstage, The Shield confronts The Authority, asking where they stand, considering that Kane is The Authority’s appointed Director of Operations and Triple H’s old friends, The New Age Outlaws. Triple H says that whatever is going on between the six of them is strictly between them. Stephanie then says that, if it is “vengeance” that The Shield is looking for, then she will give them a match against The Real Americans later tonight. In a rematch from Friday’s SmackDown, RAW would see John Cena going one-on-one with The Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper, with Bray Wyatt & Erick Rowan in his corner. During the hard-hitting match, John Cena was set for victory as he set Luke Harper up for the Attitude Adjustment, but that is when everything would go dark and, when the lights came back on, The Wyatt Family had Cena tied up in the ropes with the sheep’s mask over his face and The Wyatt Family surrounding him! The Divas were in action on RAW as Divas Champion AJ Lee, with Tamina Snuka in her corner, would go one-on-one with Naomi, with Cameron in her corner, in a non-title match. However, the match would not last long as AJ Lee decided to take a count-out loss instead. After the match, AJ Lee would be confronted by an old nemesis whom she insulted on SmackDown as SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero comes out. The GM says that they have history together, but she is willing to forget all of that before telling the Divas Champion that she is a “real bitch”! Vickie then announces the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational, which will see AJ Lee defend the Divas Title against Naomi, Cameron, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Eva Marie, Emma, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Layla, & Tamina Snuka! All of these Divas come out to the stage and even Tamina smiles at this news as Vickie laughs maniacally. With The Ultimate Warrior, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Lita, Paul Bearer, Carlos Colon, & Mr. T all announced to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014 on April 5 in New Orleans, the latest inductee was announced on RAW as the first ever four-time Intercontinental Champion “The Bad Guy” Razor Ramon takes his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame! In a match made earlier in the night by Stephanie McMahon, The Shield’s Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins, with Roman Reigns in their corner, would face two of the men who assaulted them on SmackDown at the orders of Kane, The Real Americans, with Zeb Colter in their corner. At the end of an exciting tag team bout, it was Seth Rollins hitting the Piece of Mind on Jack Swagger, pinning Swagger to pick up the win for himself and Dean Ambrose. After the match, Cesaro would attack Seth Rollins, tossing Rollins out of the ring, but Roman Reigns would take charge, taking Cesaro down with the Superman Punch before drilling Cesaro with a Spear on the outside. The Shield then dismantles the announce table, sending a clear message to Kane and The New Age Outlaws by delivering the three-man powerbomb to Cesaro through the announce table! With The Shield in the ring, Director of Operations Kane comes out, flanked by The New Age Outlaws. Kane reveals that, at WrestleMania, The Shield will face all of them in a 6-Man Tag Match! Kane then vows to “destroy” The Shield on April 6 in New Orleans. Then it was time for the much-anticipated face-off between WrestleMania opponents as, two weeks before he collides with The Undertaker at WrestleMania with the streak on the line, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, with Paul Heyman by his side, would appear on RAW. Speaking on behalf of his client, Paul Heyman says that, when Lesnar defeats The Undertaker at WrestleMania, it will take nothing away from The Undertaker’s twenty-one consecutive victories at WrestleMania. Heyman continues, saying that men like John Cena, Andre The Giant, and even Brock Lesnar will never be able to claim that they went 21-0 at WrestleMania. Surprisingly, Brock Lesnar interrupts his own advocate, taking the microphone away from Heyman and saying he is not there to talk, he is there to “fight”! Brock then says that he knows that The Undertaker is there as well, demanding that they “do this right now”! A closed casket then appears on the stage as a host of The Undertaker’s signature druids slowly carry the casket down to ringside as demonic music fills the arena. With the casket in place, the druids exit the ringside area and Lesnar and Heyman nervously watch the proceedings. Lesnar then gets the nerve to approach the casket, stomping the casket with his foot to try and get The Undertaker to come out, but to no avail. Lesnar would then stop Heyman from leaving before Lesnar finally lifts the lid on the casket, revealing that the coffin is empty. Now enraged at the mind games from The Undertaker, “The Beast” gets out of the ring, getting in the face of the druids and asking if they think this is “funny”. Lesnar then walks towards the druids, forcing the druids back up the ramp, before Lesnar comes back to ringside, closing the casket and getting back into the ring, saying that he isn’t there to “play games”. Heyman says that the only thing that The Undertaker brought for Lesnar is an “empty casket”, but that is when the casket mysteriously opens and The Undertaker sits up! “The Deadman” then climbs into the ring, bringing the fight to “The Beast” with his signature flurry of punches before delivering a clothesline to Brock Lesnar that sends Lesnar over the top rope as Brock lands on his head on the casket! As he backs up the ramp with Paul Heyman, Brock then points at the WrestleMania sign, an action which The Undertaker does as well. The two WrestleMania opponents then stare each other down as it is made unmistakable that there will be a war come WrestleMania. What did you think of this week’s RAW?
