In the closing moments of the match, Sheamus would size Dean Ambrose up for the Brogue Kick, but Ambrose would duck out of the way and Sheamus inadvertently takes Christian out with the Brogue Kick! Roman Reigns then takes Sheamus out with the Spear as Dean Ambrose pins Christian to pick up the win for The Shield. Backstage, Zeb Colter brings SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero a box of chocolates and, when the GM becomes suspicious of Colter’s motives, Zeb reveals that he wants to get a title match for Jack Swagger. Vickie says that she will put Swagger into a match against Big E for the Intercontinental Championship, but only if Swagger can emerge from a Fatal 4-Way Match against Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, & Mark Henry, where the winner will become the #1 Contender! The next challenger for Big E’s Intercontinental Championship would be determined on SmackDown as Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, and “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry would face off in a Fatal 4-Way Match with the winner becoming the new #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title with the Intercontinental Champion himself, Big E, a guest on commentary. At the end of a wild match, it was Jack Swagger who shined the brightest, locking in the Patriot Lock on Kofi Kingston, forcing Kofi to tap out to become the new #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title with a title match against Big E a week from Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber. Four of the top tag teams in the WWE would collide on SmackDown as former tag champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes would join forces with The Usos to face WWE Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws and Ryback & Curtis Axel in an 8-Man Tag Match. In the end, it was Jey Uso soaring off of the top rope with the Superfly Splash to Road Dogg, pinning one-half of the tag champions to pick up the win for The Usos and Goldust & Cody Rhodes. With his former tag team partner Titus O’Neil a guest on commentary, Darren Young would go one-on-one with Damien Sandow on SmackDown. In the end, Darren Young would counter an attempt at a full-nelson suplex, rolling Damien Sandow up to pick up the win. After the match, Titus O’Neil would try to ambush Darren Young, sparking a brawl between the former friends that ends with Darren ripping Titus’ pants to shreds, embarrassing Titus O’Neil. After complaining about being left off of RAW the last two weeks, The Miz would get a match on SmackDown against Fandango, with Summer Rae in his corner. During the match, Santino Marella and Emma would make their way to ringside, but Summer Rae would have none of it. A slap from Summer Rae would spark a cat fight between Emma and Summer Rae. Behind the back of the referee, Santino would strike Fandango with the Cobra, allowing The Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Fandango, pinning Fandango to pick up the win. Then it was time for the main event as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton would go one-on-one with one the five challengers for his title inside the Elimination Chamber a week from Sunday, Cesaro, with Zeb Colter in his corner, in a non-title match. At the end of an incredible match, it was Cesaro outlasting Randy Orton, planting Orton with the Neutralizer, pinning the WWE World Heavyweight Champion to pick up a monumental win!
