Detailed Results RAW Christmas kicks off with The Authority as, along with Kane and an elf, WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring sporting Santa hats as Triple H welcomes everyone to RAW. The COO says it is a special time of year, a time for “giving back”, which is why they enjoy making their employees “volunteer” in soup kitchens. Stephanie then says that there is nowhere they would rather be than right there with their “extended WWE family”. Triple H then promotes the “Good Santa” vs. “Bad Santa” match. Stephanie then states that RAW Christmas will also feature a 6-Man Tag Match that will feature Daniel Bryan teaming with the WWE Tag Team Champions, Goldust & Cody Rhodes, to face all three members of The Wyatt Family. Triple H then announces a big main event as the team of John Cena, Intercontinental Champion Big E. Langston, and “The Best in the World” CM Punk will face all three members of The Shield in a 6-Man Tag match. Before Triple H could finish wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, he is interrupted by the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. After making his way to the ring, Orton thanks The Authority for supporting him during the tough time he has had, saying that it was the “faith” of The Authority that allowed him to defeat John Cena at WWE TLC. The champion continues, saying that he is in a “good mood”, so he has decided to get The Authority a Christmas gift. Orton then says that he has even wrapped his gift in a “golden bow” as his gift is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. The Authority’s “gift” then thanks Triple H & Stephanie for giving him the night off, hugging The Authority before exiting the ring as Kane wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, igniting his signature pyro. The Divas were in the holiday spirit for RAW Christmas as Kaitlyn, Summer Rae, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka, & SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero would don their best Christmas gear to combat the Total Divas team of Natalya, Eva Marie, The Bella Twins, & The Funkadactyls in a special 12-Diva Jingle Belles Tag Match with Divas Champion AJ Lee a guest on commentary. In the end, it was Natalya locking in the Sharpshooter on Aksana, forcing Aksana to tap out to pick up the win for her team. As he continues his winning streak, the high-flying Sin Cara would go one-on-one with the third-generation star, Curtis Axel. In the end, Sin Cara would land the Swanton Bomb on Curtis Axel, picking up the win. A gigantic announcement was made during RAW Christmas as it was revealed in a thrilling promo that January 20, 2014 will mark the return of one of the most hard-hitting, dominant Superstars of all-time as six-time former World Champion “The Animal” Batista will return to the WWE after a nearly four-year absence! What will “The Animal” have to say when returns? Who will Batista set his sights on? Will Batista throw his hat in the ring for the 2014 Royal Rumble Match? After being assaulted by The Wyatt Family on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan would team with WWE Tag Team Champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes to face all three members of The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, & Erick Rowan, in a 6-Man Tag Match. In the end, it was Bray Wyatt tagging himself into the match, hitting Cody Rhodes with the Sister Abigail en route to picking up the win for The Wyatt Family. After the match, Luke Harper would take Goldust down with a clothesline before rolling Goldust out of the ring. Erick Rowan then brings Daniel Bryan into the ring as Bray Wyatt laughs and tells Bryan that he could have given Bryan “the world”. RAW Christmas would feature a special Christmas Carol Sing-Off as R-Truth & Xavier Woods, flanked by The Funkadactyls, 3MB’s Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre, and The Great Khali & Santino Marella would compete to see who could sing it best. Khali & Santino then win the crowd’s vote, but a brawl would break out with Santino taking Jinder Mahal out with the Cobra Strike. In a special Christmas Present-On-A-Pole Match, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would go one-on-one with Fandango, with Summer Rae in his corner, with the first Superstar to successfully retrieve the Christmas present from the pole earning the victory and a shot at the Intercontinental Title on next week’s RAW! In the end, it was Fandango knocking Dolph Ziggler off of the top rope with Ziggler landing face-first on the steel steps on the outside before Fandango grabs the Christmas present, winning the match and earning an Intercontinental Title shot against Big E. Langston on New Year’s RAW next week. In tag team action, The Usos would square off against The Prime Time Players on RAW Christmas. In the end, it was Jey Uso hitting the Superfly Splash on Darren Young, picking up the win for The Usos. After the match, The Usos help The Prime Time Players to their feet before the two teams do the “millions of dollars” dance. Then it was time to decide the fate of Christmas as “Good Santa” Mark Henry would face “Bad Santa” Damien Sandow in The Battle for Christmas. Early in the match, Mark Henry would open the first present, a toilet, which Damien Sandow finds his face plunked into. Shortly after this, Damien Sandow would unwrap a candy cane, using it on Mark Henry before attacking the decorations. “Good Santa” then battles back, shoving “Bad Santa” into the Christmas tree. In the end, it was Mark Henry planting Damien Sandow with the World’s Strongest Slam, pinning Damien Sandow to pick up the win and save Christmas. After the match, “Good Santa” would unwrap some holiday cupcakes, smashing them into the face of “Bad Santa”. In tag team action, Los Matadores, with El Torito in their corner, would face The Real Americans, with Zeb Colter in their corner. In the end, it was Diego hitting a high cross body on Jack Swagger, keeping Swagger down for the three-count and the victory. On RAW Christmas, Ryback would go one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. In the end, it was Ryback securing the victory over Kofi Kingston following Shell Shocked. Then it was time for the main event as “The Best in the World” CM Punk would team with John Cena and Intercontinental Champion Big E. Langston to face all three members of The Shield, United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns, in a 6-Man Tag Match. At the end of a raucous match, Big E. Langston would put Dean Ambrose down with the Big Ending, but Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns would jump in, resulting in the disqualification. The Shield then looked to beat Langston down, but CM Punk and John Cena would make the save as Cena takes Roman Reigns out on the outside before Big E. Langston hits a double clothesline on Ambrose & Rollins. Cena then hoists Rollins up while Punk hoists Ambrose up, hitting the Attitude Adjustment and GTS simultaneously! Punk, Cena, & Langston then stand tall in the center of the ring, united in victory. What did you think of this week’s RAW? Post your comments in the box below.
