Big WWE News: Classics on Demand Service Folding in January!By Cassidy| November 19, 2013 Wrestling News WrestlingInc.com is reporting that Mediacom customers who subscribe to WWE’s monthly subscription service, WWE Classics on Demand, have been getting a message on their televisions. This message reveals that, come January 31, 2014, WWE will no longer be offering WWE Classics on Demand as the pay service will be cancelled. Mediacom mentions that the decision to end the service was made by WWE and not Mediacom. WWE has now confirmed the online reports as the company released a statement announcing that, as of February 2014, WWE Classics on Demand will cease to exist. This news fits in with WWE’s plan to finally launch the much-anticipated WWE Network in time for WrestleMania next year. The official reason given is that WWE is ending the service to focus on “other programming content”. WWE has not publicly announced a launch date for the WWE Network as of this article.
