WWE Spoilers: Rob Van Dam Taking Time OffBy Cassidy| October 8, 2013 Wrestling News As reported by WWE.com, among other wrestling sites, Rob Van Dam will be taking some time off per the terms of his contract with the WWE. RVD’s unique agreement with the WWE entitles “Mr. Monday Night” to at least three months off for every 90 days of work for the company. WWE.com is running with the story that RVD is having “second thoughts” about his return after failing to win the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase in July, as well as failing to win the World Heavyweight Title at Night of Champions and at Battleground this past Sunday night. The Hardcore Rules Match against Alberto Del Rio at Battleground will be RVD’s last match in the WWE for a while.
