WWE: Ricardo Rodriguez Suspended for Wellness Violation!By Cassidy| July 2, 2013 Wrestling News WWE.com has announced that World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez (Jesus Rodriguez), has been suspended for 30 days (as of July 2) for his first violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. Rodriguez will be allowed to return on or anytime after August 1, meaning that he will not be a part of the Money-in-the-Bank pay-per-view on July 14, nor will he be a part of any live events or television tapings. This is the first Wellness suspension since Randy Orton’s 60-day suspension in May of last year, though Cameron was suspended in August of last year for failing to inform the WWE about her DUI. It’s highly likely that Ricardo Rodriguez’s suspension is the reason why he was attacked by Dolph Ziggler on last week’s SmackDown, injuring Rodriguez in storyline. There is no official word yet on what illegal drug Rodriguez tested positive for. What are your thoughts on Ricardo Rodriguez’s suspension? Post your comments in the box below.
