WWE RAW Results: June 10, 2013By Cassidy| June 11, 2013 WWE Raw Ordered to Restrain. Six nights before WWE Payback, the 1046th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA. After a surprising fallout with his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and father-in-law, Mr. McMahon, the proud, albeit stubborn, Triple H has vowed to go against his family’s wishes of keeping him out of the ring as the thirteen-time former World Champion made it known last week that, despite the pleas of his wife and father-in-law, he will go one-on-one with the undefeated Curtis Axel on RAW! With their Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Championship coming up this Sunday at Payback, RAW would see an intense face-off as WWE Champion John Cena would come face-to-face with the man who, for two weeks in a row, cost him a victory, “The Sin City Cyborg” Ryback! Also, after a month of being out of action with a concussion, RAW would see the return of “The Show-Off” as World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler finally returns to RAW! In an article posted earlier today, WWE.com revealed that “The Dancing Enigma” Fandango has suffered a concussion of his own and has been pulled from all WWE Live Events this week. How will this affect the scheduled Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Payback between Fandango, The Miz, and champion Wade Barrett? Match Results Curtis Axel def. Detailed Results Against the wishes of his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and his father-in-law, Mr. McMahon, RAW kicks off with “The Game” Triple H as the thirteen-time former World Champion would make good on his promise to go one-on-one with “The New Perfect” Curtis Axel, with Paul Heyman in his corner. Only a few minutes into the match, Triple H’s father-in-law and the Chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon, comes out to ringside and orders the timekeeper to ring the bell to end the match before the Chairman has ring announcer Justin Roberts announce that Curtis Axel is the winner via disqualification! Axel’s hand is raised in victory and Triple H is enraged by his father-in-law’s actions. After Mr. McMahon makes his exit, Triple H flexes his WWE COO muscle and orders the timekeeper to ring the bell to start the match again! Once again, Mr. McMahon walks out during the early stages of the match, having the timekeeper ring the bell again, this time having Justin Roberts announce Curtis Axel as the winner by forfeit! The power plays would continue as “The Game” exits the ring again, this time ordering Justin Roberts to announce that the match will be restarted as a 60-Minute Iron Man Match! The COO then rings the bell himself before getting back into the ring. This brings Mr. McMahon down to ringside for a third time, this time, the Chairman orders Curtis Axel to leave the ring and, with his two victories in a row over Triple H, Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman are happy to comply. Triple H’s father-in-law then takes the ring bell away from the timekeeper and takes the microphone away from the ring announcer, storming off with the items, leaving a furious Triple H alone in the ring! Backstage, a livid Triple H is talking with his distraught wife, Stephanie McMahon, intent on doing physical harm to his father-in-law for what he just did. Triple H says that the Chairman “crossed the line”, saying that Mr. McMahon did what he did just to embarrass him. After some pleading from Stephanie, Triple H vows that he won’t harm her father, but she will have to go talk to him. Amidst the self-destruction of Team Hell No, “The Big Red Monster” Kane would be looking to take his frustration out on one-third of The Shield in United States Champion Dean Ambrose in a non-title match that had to be started without the ring bell. During the match, a referee rushes out to return the ring bell to its spot at ringside. During the match, Kane would ready for the chokeslam on Dean Ambrose, but Ambrose would quickly roll out of the ring. This would open the door for Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns to get involved as Rollins & Reigns attack Kane, but before any serious damage can be done, Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton rush out to help fight off The Shield and, together, the trio sends The Shield packing. Backstage, an increasingly heated argument between Kane, Daniel Bryan, & Randy Orton is broken up by RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, who informs them that, this Sunday at Payback, the team of Randy Orton & Daniel Bryan will challenge Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns for the WWE Tag Team Titles! Initially outraged, Kane’s mood is changed when Vickie informs him that he will also get a title match as “The Big Red Monster” will challenge Dean Ambrose for the United States Title at Payback! Following the news, Kane actually gives Vickie a very awkward hug! Coming off the heels of the announcement on WWE.com that Fandango will be unable to compete in the Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Title this Sunday at WWE Payback due to a concussion, it was revealed on RAW that the Intercontinental Title will now be decided in a one-on-one match as Wade Barrett will defend the gold against The Miz. Six nights before he challenges Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Title at WWE Payback, “The Awesome One” The Miz would go one-on-one with Cody Rhodes, with Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett a guest on commentary. In the end, it was The Miz locking in the Figure-Four Leg Lock in on Cody Rhodes, forcing Rhodes to tap out to pick up the win. After the match, Wade Barrett was set to attack The Miz, but the potential brawl was brought to a halt with the appearance of Paul Heyman, who drops the bombshell that RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has just ruled that the Intercontinental Title will still be defended in a Triple Threat Match at Payback as Wade Barrett will defend against The Miz and the undefeated “Paul Heyman Guy”, Curtis Axel! Another big announcement was made on RAW as it was revealed that, on next week’s RAW, “The World’s Strongest Man” will return as Mark Henry will make his first appearance since his loss to Sheamus in a Strap Match at last month’s Extreme Rules! Backstage, Stephanie McMahon confronts her father, Mr. McMahon, saying that the Chairman “walked all over” Triple H earlier in the evening. The Chairman argues that Triple H made Stephanie cry, but Stephanie says that her father is the one that made her cry. Mr. McMahon then says he does not care about Triple H’s “pride”, he cares about “business” and he cares about the WWE. Stephanie says that she cares about WWE too and McMahon says that, family or not, “business comes first” and you do the “right thing for business every single time”. The Chairman then advises that Stephanie keep Triple H away from him, but Stephanie tries to convince her father to at least talk to Triple H. However, McMahon refuses, saying that Triple H would not like what he would have to say nor would he like the manner in which he would say it. The Chairman then excuses himself, saying he has a show to run. Before he faces the returning CM Punk in Punk’s hometown of Chicago this Sunday at WWE Payback, “Y2J” Chris Jericho makes an appearance on RAW. Chris Jericho says that, in his time in the WWE, he has faced many greats, from Mick Foley to Eddie Guerrero to John Cena, but, at Payback, he will face the man who always takes him to the “limit”, CM Punk. Jericho says that both he and CM Punk accepts “nothing less than the best”, saying that their “trilogy” will come to an end and, at Payback, Punk will get his “best” because he needs to defeat Punk. Jericho then begins to vow that Punk will “never, ever be the same again”, but the six-time former World Champion is interrupted by the return of the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler, who is accompanied by AJ Lee & Big E. Langston! Dolph said that a concussion almost cost him the World Heavyweight Title before he even got a fair run with the gold and it was not “fair” to him. Ziggler continues, saying that he came out and “stole the show” every night and he “earned” the World Heavyweight Title. The World Heavyweight Champion then says that he will prove it to Alberto Del Rio this Sunday at Payback, saying that he does it better than anyone else and he is just getting started! Jericho cuts Ziggler off, saying that Dolph is talking about this Sunday, but they are still at RAW. Jericho continues, suggesting that the champion face him in a “tune-up match” right now! It initially appeared that Ziggler would accept the challenge, but Dolph instead says that Jericho will face Big E. Langston! After making his return, at the expense of Chris Jericho, World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, along with AJ Lee, would be in the corner of Big E. Langston as Langston would go one-on-one with Chris Jericho on RAW. During the match, Dolph Ziggler would get on the ring apron, temporarily distracting Chris Jericho, but Big E. Langston still failed to take advantage. Shortly after this, the World Heavyweight Champion was blindsided by Alberto Del Rio, which would distract Langston long enough for Jericho to take advantage, hitting the Codebreaker on Big E. en route to picking up the win. With Zeb Colter a guest on commentary, “The Swiss Superman” Antonio Cesaro would go one-on-one with Sin Cara on RAW. In the end, it was Antonio Cesaro hitting the Neutralizer on Sin Cara en route to picking up the win. Before he and Daniel Bryan challenge Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns for the WWE Tag Team Titles at Payback, “The Viper” Randy Orton, with Daniel Bryan in his corner, would go one-on-one with one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns, with Seth Rollins in his corner. During the match, Seth Rollins would take down Daniel Bryan on the outside, but when Rollins tries to attack Orton, Orton fights back and Rollins & Reigns both find themselves on the outside of the ring and Daniel Bryan dives out on top of them, taking them both out! The referee rules the match a No Contest as a result. Immediately following the match between Randy Orton and Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, with Randy Orton in his corner, would go one-on-one with the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins, with Roman Reigns in his corner. With Randy Orton preventing Roman Reigns from getting involved, Daniel Bryan would score a roll-up on Seth Rollins, picking up a big victory over the tag champion. After the match, Rollins would try to ambush Bryan, but Bryan would catch Rollins with a kick to the head followed up with the RKO from Randy Orton! After weeks of texts and gifts from a secret admirer, Divas Champion Kaitlyn would appear in the ring on RAW, awaiting the reveal of her secret admirer. The secret admirer would then reveal himself to be none other than the “friend” and bodyguard of Kaitlyn’s rival, AJ Lee, as Big E. Langston comes to the ring, all dressed up with flowers in hand! A surprised and confused Kaitlyn takes the flowers from Langston before Langston explains his infatuation. Big E. says that everyone thinks that he is just Dolph Ziggler’s heavy, but he cares about more than that and he cares about Kaitlyn! Langston says that, as soon as he laid his eyes on Kaitlyn for the first time, he knew that she was all he needed and he did not know how to tell her until now. Langston & Kaitlyn then hold each other and are about to kiss, but, instead, Langston shoves Kaitlyn down to the mat! AJ Lee then makes her way to the ring, confronting her distraught former best friend, saying that Kaitlyn was not there for her when she needed it the most, saying that even shattered glass can still “cut you pretty deep”. Kaitlyn says that AJ is “crazy”, but AJ argues that she is “smart” and, while she may not be able to beat Kaitlyn in the ring, she can outsmart Kaitlyn. Preying on the fragile emotional state of the Divas Champion, AJ says that she used to put Kaitlyn on a “pedestal”, but now she gets to shove her off and watch her fall. AJ then calls Kaitlyn “trash”, saying that Kaitlyn has “no love” and “no friends”, adding that none of the fans “give a damn” about her. AJ continues, saying that the only thing of value that Kaitlyn has is the Divas Title and, come Payback, she will no longer have that! AJ then says that she will get “everything” she wants this Sunday, telling Kaitlyn that she will “lose” and Kaitlyn will go back to the “trailer park” with a remote in one hand and junk food in the other. AJ then calls Kaitlyn an “unlovable cow”, which sends Kaitlyn over the edge as the Divas Champion slaps AJ down, pummeling AJ with rights and lefts before AJ manages to scramble out of the ring. AJ then blows a kiss at Kaitlyn, before laughing and skipping up the ramp. In the latest vignette from The Wyatt Family, the cult leader known as Bray Wyatt states, “What shall profit a man that gains the world, but loses his soul on the way?” Wyatt continues, saying that he solves the “labyrinth of your own mind”. The family also vows that they will “pry their eyes open and force them to watch” before Wyatt declares himself the “leader of worlds”, advising others to “run” and concluding with “we’re coming”. Before he faces Sheamus on the Payback Pre-Show this Sunday, Damien Sandow would go one-on-one with R-Truth on RAW. In the end, it was Damien Sandow hitting The Silence on R-Truth en route to picking up the win. After the match, Sheamus comes out, saying that Sandow has gotten his attention and, on the Payback Pre-Show, he will kick Sandow’s head off. Backstage, Stephanie McMahon approaches a stagehand and tells him to go and inform Mr. McMahon that his daughter is looking for him, saying that it is about “business” and it is “urgent” and the Chairman should meet her in their office. Once the stagehand leaves to do just that, Stephanie tells another stagehand to go and inform Triple H that his wife is looking for him and it is a “personal” and “urgent” matter and Triple H should meet her in their office! Stephanie then continues down the hallway with a smile on her face. A plethora of Superstars led by Vickie Guerrero & Brad Maddox would make their way to the ring as such Superstars as Sheamus, The Miz, R-Truth, The Prime Time Players, Curtis Axel, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro, Ted DiBiase, Big E. Langston, The Great Khali, Sin Cara, Jimmy & Jey Uso, Justin Gabriel, Brodus Clay, Tensai, Curt Hawkins, Primo, Epico, Alex Riley, JTG, Zack Ryder, 3MB, Kane, Daniel Bryan, William Regal, & Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett all surround the ring in preparation for the face-off between Ryback & WWE Champion John Cena! Backstage, Stephanie McMahon’s plan to get her husband and her father to talk to each other seems to work as Triple H enters the office of the McMahons, immediately sparking an argument between father-in-law and son-in-law. Stephanie then takes charge, screaming to stop the bickering before leaving the room and leaving Triple H & Mr. McMahon to work things out. McMahon says that he did the right thing earlier in the evening, saying that Triple H is “bigger” than facing Curtis Axel. The Chairman says that he is a “giver” and, while Triple H says he will not apologize, he does see where the Chairman is coming from. Showing that he is the “bigger man”, the Chairman says that he will let Triple H have his match with Curtis Axel next week. However, having taken what his father-in-law said to heart, Triple H says that he does not want the match after all, but McMahon says that he kind of wants to see the match now, which sparks another argument between the two in-laws, this time with the views flipped! Stephanie McMahon then comes back in, asking for a “group hug”, but both proud men refuse to hug each other. The Chairman agrees to hug his daughter, but Triple H takes offense to this, asking what is the matter with him is and McMahon asks the same. The three of them hug each other, but Triple H and Mr. McMahon give some aggressive pats on the back before Stephanie separates them. Both men then leave the room, having put their differences aside. Then it was time for the volatile face-off between WWE Champion John Cena and #1 Contender Ryback as a crowd of Superstars surround the ring in a preview of what will be the first of three stages in the Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Championship this Sunday. WWE Champion John Cena enters the ring first and Ryback arrives in an ambulance, but halfway down the ramp, Ryback decides not to come to the ring, opting to keep his distance by staying on the stage. Cena accuses Ryback of being scared, saying that the Lumberjacks will keep Ryback from leaving the ring this Sunday, but Ryback argues that he could tear through Cena and he could even tear through every single Superstar surrounding the ring. Ryback then claims that he is keeping his distance for Cena’s own good. The WWE Champion then says that Ryback has proven that he is capable of mass destruction. Ryback argues that he should have been the WWE Champion “three times over” already, citing The Shield’s interference as the reason he is not the champion right now. Ryback blames Cena for not backing him up, but an enraged John Cena says that no man who has ever been the WWE Champion has had a “guardian angel” before saying that he will go through hell this Sunday, but he will walk out of hell as the WWE Champion! Ryback then vows that the “legend of John Cena” will “end” this Sunday when he beats Cena in the Lumberjack Match, puts Cena through a table, and when he loads Cena’s “unathletic body” into an ambulance. Ryback then says that it will “end” when he becomes the WWE Champion, saying that he will take Cena’s spot at Payback. The WWE Champion then says that, this Sunday, “payback is a bitch” before Cena tries to make a run at Ryback, but the lumberjacks cut Cena off, sending the champion back into the ring. Ryback then tries to jump Cena, but the lumberjacks again do their job. After some time on the outside, the lumberjacks flood the ring, doing the bidding of Vickie Guerrero by keeping Cena and Ryback separated to protect the title match this Sunday!
