WWE: Backstage Heat on Mark Henry Over Apparent InjuryBy Cassidy| May 29, 2013 Wrestling News According to F4WOnline.com, Mark Henry has some backstage heat on him in the WWE over a recent shoulder injury. Apparently, the former World Heavyweight Champion requested some time off to recover from the injury, but since the injury was not severe enough to require surgery, some within the company feel that Henry could work through the injury if he really wanted to and the WWE brass actually had a big push in store for Mark Henry prior to Extreme Rules, but those plans had to be quickly changed when Henry decided to take some time off. Henry was originally slated for a rivalry with Big E. Langston over the summer once Langston was successfully turned face and, now, WWE has decided to go ahead with Langston’s face turn earlier than expected. There is currently no timetable for Mark Henry’s return, but he should be able to return to action after a few weeks or so since the shoulder injury does not require surgery. Mark Henry’s last appearance to date was at Extreme Rules in a Strap Match against Sheamus. Do you think Mark Henry should have taken time off? Post your comments in the box below.
