WWE: Legend Signs Multi-Year Deal with the WWE!By Cassidy| April 5, 2013 Wrestling News WrestlingInc.com is reporting that the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all-time has signed a multi-year agreement with the WWE as the legendary Honky Tonk Man is now under contract with the WWE for the first time since 1997. The Honky Tonk Man confirmed the news himself via his Twitter account, @OfficialHTM, saying “HTM back in the game. Inks multi yr. WWE deal. Never say Never in #WWE”. While the exact details of the contract are unknown, it does look like it is more than just a simple WWE Legends contract and many are expecting The Honky Tonk Man to be on WWE television on a weekly basis. The former Intercontinental Champion is not being expected to compete (at least not on a regular basis), but it is worth nothing that Honky Tonk does have a history as a manager and as a commentator in the WWE, managing a young Billy Gunn (then known as Rockabilly) and serving as a color commentator for RAW. With WrestleMania this Sunday night, there is talk that The Honky Tonk Man will be involved with show in some form. What role would you like to see The Honky Tonk Man in?
