WWE Spoilers: The Absolute Latest on The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Status!By Cassidy| February 16, 2013 Wrestling News With WrestleMania 29 just 50 days away, WrestleScoop.com is reporting that nothing is set in stone yet regarding The Undertaker’s status for the big event on April 7. Undertaker was not in the arena for RAW in Nashville this past Monday, but “The Phenom” did have a meeting with Vince McMahon. While the details of the meeting are unknown, Undertaker has reportedly stated that he does not want to compete at WrestleMania if he is not able to perform at a level as good or better than he has the last couple of years. Since his last match at last year’s WrestleMania, Undertaker has undergone major hip and shoulder surgery and, as a result of the recovery and rehabilitation, has been unable to do any training at all since the surgically repaired hip and shoulder have kept him from working out either his upper or lower body. WWE officials are still going with the assumption that The Undertaker will, one way or another, compete at this year’s WrestleMania against CM Punk. Whether or not Undertaker ends up competing at WrestleMania this year or not, it is being rumored that next year’s WrestleMania 30 may very well be centered around the 49-year old Undertaker’s retirement from in-ring competition. If Undertaker does not compete at this year’s “Show of Shows”, it will be the first time since WrestleMania 16 in 2000 that “The Phenom” did not compete at WrestleMania.
