WWE Spoilers: When Will The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Air?By Cassidy| February 22, 2013 Wrestling News The Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be airing in a one-hour special on the USA Network on Tuesday, April 9 at 10/9c. The ceremony itself will actually take place the night before WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY. In previous years, WWE aired the special before RAW the night after WrestleMania, but with RAW permanently moving to three hours last July, the decision was made to air the Hall of Fame ceremony on its own night to avoid four straight hours of WWE programming. Originally, WWE would do a live broadcast of the ceremony, but when the inductees’ speeches began to go too long, WWE decided to tape the ceremony and air it at a later date in an edited format. However, as has become customary, the entire, unedited version of the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be a part of the WrestleMania 29 DVD & Blu-Ray set that will be coming out in May. So far, four inductees have been announced for this year’s Class of 2013 as three-time WWE Champion “The Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley, the second longest reigning WWE Champion of all-time Bob Backlund, seven-time Women’s Champion Trish Stratus, and the longest reigning WWE Champion of all-time Bruno Sammartino will all take their place in the Hall of Fame.
