WWE: Brock Lesnar Offered a New Contract!By Cassidy| January 17, 2013 Wrestling News With WrestleMania 29 just a little over two months away (eighty days to be exact), the WWE is looking to keep one of their biggest part-time stars under contract as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the company has approached Brock Lesnar with a new WWE contract that is a near exact copy of the initial deal Brock signed last year. The contract gives Lesnar several million dollars while Lesnar gives the WWE a limited number of appearances, both wrestling and non-wrestling, on television and pay-per-view for the next year, which will likely include a match at next year’s WrestleMania. Lesnar has not signed the new contract yet, but Brock has a history of prolonging contract negotiations for as long as possible to try and get the best deal possible. WWE will likely be looking to avoid the same mistakes they did with the contract that Lesnar is currently under as the WWE did not space out Lesnar’s handful of appearances, which is why they had Brock abruptly “quit” the WWE the night after SummerSlam, so they could save the few working dates on Lesnar’s contract for the build-up to WrestleMania 29. As it stands, Brock Lesnar has no reason to not re-sign with the company and the WWE knows it. Brock has pretty much made it clear to the world that he has no intentions of returning to the UFC or doing mixed martial arts for the foreseeable future. In a nutshell, Lesnar really has nothing else going on right now and the only one who knows what the future holds is, of course, Lesnar himself. Should Brock Lesnar sign a new contract?
