WWE: SmackDown Superstar Suffers Bad Knee InjuryBy Cassidy| January 15, 2013 Wrestling News In a new interview on WWE.com discussing CM Punk’s labeling of him as a “workhorse”, it was revealed that SmackDown Superstar Tyson Kidd recently suffered multiple injuries to his knee as the last graduate of the famed Hart Dungeon has a torn meniscus, a torn ACL, a torn LCL, partial tears in the back of his knee, and a hairline fracture of his tibia plateau. Kidd will have to wait for the hairline fracture to heal itself before he can undergo surgery to repair the ACL and meniscus tears, followed by several months of physical therapy. Kidd mentions in the interview that this is the first serious injury that he has ever had in his seventeen-year career, commenting that this is the first time that sports-entertainment has been taken away from him. There’s no exact timetable for Kidd’s return to in-ring competition, but several sources are indicating that Kidd will be out anywhere from six months to a year.
